While the latest spinoff is a lot like Bachelor In Paradise, it offers a lot more to the show as there are cute coats, wintry games, and yummy foreigners. Sadly, the series is only four episodes long *SIGH*. Related: Arie Luyendyk Jr. Says Ciao To Three Women Don't fret though, because the drama has already kicked into high gear. And, by drama, we mean Ashley Iaconetti has already cried A BUNCH!!! So let's get into the specifics... After a fun parade and concert, the group of contestants moved their beautiful behinds into their cute little winter residence. Not only did the group start prepping for their first event (which involved both skiing and shooting), the competitors moved to start forming connections. In short: they all started making out with one another. Specifically, the couples that paired off were Dean Unglert and Lesley Murphy, Bibiana Julian and Kevin Wendt, and Josiah Graham and Ally Thompson. They move quickly, don't they?? Luke Pell, along with Canadians Benoit Beauséjour-Savard and Wendt, flourished during the physical biathlon event. But it was Mr. Wendt who nabbed the first date card. As for the female contestants, Swede Rebecca Carlson scored her date card pretty easily. Ashley I. responded to Kevin winning the date card in the most EXTREME way, as she started having a meltdown over whether or not she'd be invited on the outing. Although Bibiana already formed a cozy connection with the Canadian hunk, Ashley I. defended that she too felt VERY strongly for him. Girl, you just met. Calm down. Between Ashley I.'s screams and wails about being friendzoned, Bibiana was invited on a date by Kevin. Luke was also asked out by, you guessed it, date card holder Rebecca. Footage from the dates were only minutes long and, in truth, not very interesting. But everyone seemed to have a nice time. Right as we were getting emotionally invested in this winter dating venture, Chris Harrison announced some shocking news about the rose ceremony -- that it'd be elimination style, à la Survivor. If you're confused, Harrison made sure to explain that every person in the house had to vote for someone they didn't think was there for the right reasons. SAVAGE, and we love it. Ultimately, Eric Bigger, Zoe Tang, Laura Blair, Lauren Griffin, and Jamey Kocan were all sent home. See ya, wouldn't want to be ya!! Be sure to study that Bachelor Winter Games anthem, because BWG returns THIS THURSDAY at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. [Image via ABC.].....»»

EIGHT Competitors Leave Bachelor Winter Games — But That"s Not Why Ben Higgins Is Crying!

EIGHT contestants went home on Tuesday's Bachelor Winter Games. No wonder the season is only four episodes long. No wonder the season is only four episodes long. The most recent episode of the Bachelor spinoff kicked off with a downhill skiing event -- which didn't go over well for many. Related: January Jones Reveals Nick Viall Is ONLY 'A Friend' Nonetheless, Dean Unglert and current flame Lesley Murphy both flourished at the wintry sport and each received date cards. As they're already paired off, they generously gave their spare date card to Ashley Iaconetti and Kevin Wendt. This made Ashley BEYOND thrilled as she previously worried about being "friend zoned" by Kevin. And Miz Iaconetti certainly made the most of her date as she informed the Canadian hunk about her virginity status. Although the podcaster was concerned that this truth bomb would turn Kevin off, he actually handled the news really well. After telling Ashley he respected her decision to keep her hymen intact, the twosome cozied up and made some clay pots à la Ghost. Get yours, girl!! Sadly, not everyone was having luck finding love on BWG. Tiffany Scanlon realized she wasn't meeting anyone special and chose to bounce from the house. That decision made Ben Higgins reevaluate what he was doing on the show. In fact, Higgins had a revelation that he just wasn't ready to date even if someone special popped up at the house. Despite being over ex fiancée Lauren Bushnell, Ben realized he wasn't over the heartbreak. After a chat with Chris Harrison, the perfect Ben noted tearfully: "As much as I've moved on and I have, it still hurts." Through more tears, Ben made his goodbyes and admitted the house brought back "ghosts." Ben's exit was followed by Yuki Kimura and Michael Garofola's departure. So who was left?? Since only couples were left by the time the rose ceremony arrived, Harrison decided to make the moment ANOTHER competition opportunity. Yup, instead of a rose ceremony, the couples were tasked with participating in a kissing contestant. To make things even more awkward, the judges for the competition were some of the competitors exes. Specifically, Rachel Lindsay, Arie Luyendyk Jr., and JoJo Fletcher were tasked with ranking the smooches. Oh, and whomever came in last was being sent home. Understandably, the contestants were uncomfortable AF about locking lips with their new loves in front of their former flames. But they sucked it up, and did it anyway. Here are some highlights from the kissing competition... Christian Rauch and Clare Crawley chose to withdraw from the contest altogether as they had never kissed before (and had a nasty fight earlier). Byeeee! Dean and Lesley did a little dance routine before their kiss, and it was not great. Ashley and Kevin went ALL IN with a hot and heavy makeout session. Bibiana Julian and Jordan Mauger, as well as Luke Pell and Stassi Yaramchuk, went with a tender, slow moving kiss. Josiah Graham and Ally Thompson ended up in last place, which is probably a good thing, since the New Zealand resident later revealed they never really had a deep connection. Don't worry, y'all! There's always Paradise. Be sure to ch-ch-check out Bachelor Winter Games' finale when it airs this Thursday on ABC at 8 p.m. ET. [Image via ABC.].....»»

The twosome, who are both slated to appear on BWG, were spotted holding hands at a Sundance Film Festival party on Friday evening. We bet Chris Harrison is pissed to be learning this as the love birds "weren't supposed to be in public together yet." Per E! No, really!! Video: Arie Jokes About Bekah M.'s Missing Persons Mix Up! As of writing this post, 12 couples have been formed thanks to Bachelor nation shows. Whether it was on the OG show or on one of the spinoffs, 24 people have found their special someone on a reality TV show. So bananas!! Curious to discover who has made it?? Learn the contestants who are still going strong (below)... 12. Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter Sweet Sweet Vacation.A post shared by Ryan Sutter (@ryansutter) on Jan 14, 2018 at 5:26pm PST Trista was the first ever Bachelorette. So it's kind of perfect that she actually found her happily ever after with husband Ryan on the show. Rehn was a previous Bachelor veteran as she had appeared on the competition's first season. She and Sutter wed in a televised ceremony in December 2003. They've since welcomed two children and live in Colorado. 11. Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney 💏🎉💖 @jasonmesnickA post shared by Molly Mesnick (@mollymesnick) on Jan 1, 2018 at 1:25pm PST Jason and Molly were quite the controversial couple on season 13 of The Bachelor. Why?? Well, because, originally Mesnick had given the final rose to Melissa Rycroft. After he couldn't stop thinking about Malaney, he dumped Melissa and declared his love to Molly on the reunion show. In March 2010, Jason and Molly tied the knot. They now have a daughter, named Riley Anne. 10. Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum Finally. 👫A post shared by Ashley Hebert Rosenbaum (@ashleylynnrosenbaum) on Dec 6, 2017 at 2:02pm PST What a happy ending. Ashley was named season seven's Bachelorette after getting rejected by Brad Womack. Regardless, she met JP on her season and they got engaged at the very end. The love birds were wed in a (you guessed it) televised special in December 2012. They are now parents to two kids, son Fordham and daughter Essex. 9. Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici I love all 3 of these people so much. Catherine, Arie & Samuel - in that order. Tonight, my pal @ariejr begins his search for love. Or at least an engagement that lasts a few months. But hopefully real, everlasting love.A post shared by Sean Lowe (@seanloweksu) on Jan 1, 2018 at 9:35am PST After losing out on love during Emily Maynard's season of The Bachelorette, Sean was brought on to be season 17's Bachelor. Thankfully, this stint on TV was more successful as he met now wife Catherine, whom he proposed to at the end of the season. They are now married with a son, named Samuel Thomas, and are expecting another child. 8. Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried Hope everyone had a beautiful Christmas Day yesterday! Blessings to you and yours from our little fam bam. 😘A post shared by Desiree (Hartsock) Siegfried (@desireesiegfried) on Dec 26, 2017 at 8:43am PST Fans were REALLY rooting for Desiree to find love after Sean Lowe dumped her on The Bachelor. Don't worry, she did! During her stint on The Bachelorette, she met Siegfried and they got married in January 2015. They are now parents to a son, named Asher. 7. Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth Central Park at Christmas time is MAGICAL AF. And yes, we were cold. But we did it for the gram. . Thank you Amanda in New York City for @flytographer #merrychristmasA post shared by Kaitlyn Bristowe (@kaitlynbristowe) on Dec 24, 2017 at 9:14am PST Kaitlyn chose Shawn as her final suitor and, in typical Bachelorette fashion, the twosome got engaged in 2015. They are still going strong, but aren't rushing to get married (which is probably why they're still together)! 6. Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert Just a Paradise baby chillin' in paradise. @sugarbeachviceroy #sugarbeachresidences Lots of questions about our stay, so @sugarbeachviceroy decided to offer a special rate for our following! Enjoy up to 20% off your room rate, a complimentary bottle of champagne on arrival and a couple’s cabana massage. Telephone +1 758 456 8000 or email sb.reservations@viceroyhotelsandresorts.com Code will be Paradise. 💗A post shared by Jade Tolbert (@jadelizroper) on Jan 13, 2018 at 2:50pm PST The first Bachelor In Paradise success story! After being castoffs on their respective seasons, Jade and Tanner met and fell in love during season two of Paradise. Although other couples got "married" and engaged on the spinoff show, these two were the first to have a legal union that lasted. They now are parents to a daughter, named Emerson Avery Tolbert. 5. JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers Fam taking on the wild 👫🐶A post shared by JoJo Fletcher (@joelle_fletcher) on Jan 13, 2018 at 5:13pm PST After an emotional season, JoJo accepted Jordan's proposal at the end of her stint on The Bachelorette. The twosome couldn't be happier and have talked about their potential wedding plans, but they've yet to lock in a date. Keep enjoying your lengthy engagement, y'all! 4. Carly Waddell and Evan Bass It’s all fun and games until your zipper breaks and your husband has to cut you out of your maternity dress..... 😩🤣😳A post shared by Carly Waddell (@carlywad) on Dec 23, 2017 at 8:00am PST Despite being repulsed by Evan at first, by the end of their stint on Bachelor In Paradise, the two were in love and getting engaged. Carly and Evan's 2017 nuptials were filmed and televised as part of the next season of BIP. They're now pregnant and awaiting the arrival of their baby girl. 3. Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo Merry Christmas from us to you 🎄🤶🏾🎅🏼❤️ #tistheseason #merrychristmas #familyphotosA post shared by Rachel Lindsay (@therachlindsay) on Dec 25, 2017 at 2:08pm PST Bachelor nation was up in arms when Rachel dumped Peter Kraus and accepted Bryan's marriage proposal. But it seems that the powerhouse lawyer made the right call, as she and her chiropractor beau are still engaged. No wedding plans as of yet though! 2. Taylor Nolan and Derek Peth NYC is starting to grow on me...or maybe it’s just @pethderek 🤷🏽‍♀️A post shared by Taylor Nolan (@taymocha) on Jan 28, 2018 at 6:45pm PST Before Bachelor In Paradise, Taylor was probably best known for feuding with Corinne Olympios over Nick Viall and emotional intelligence. However, Nolan went on to meet JoJo Fletcher's castoff Derek and the rest is history. Now, the twosome didn't get engaged on Paradise, but they DID get betrothed on the reunion special. 1. Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk We're lit 🎄A post shared by ravennicolegates (@ravennicolegates) on Dec 16, 2017 at 6:33pm PST Despite being on a chaotic season of Bachelor In Paradise, Raven and Adam walked away totally in love. Thankfully, their connection lasted well outside of Mexico and the two are going strong. Fingers crossed an engagement is in the works!! Which Bachelor nation couple is YOUR favorite?? I flew out to search for apartments, so I messaged Arie and I told him that I would be in the area and he asked me out on our first date...We hit it off right away and started dating as soon as I moved here. To my knowledge, the relationship was monogamous." Well, well. Looks like even the Bachelor likes to slip into people's DMs. The pair's first date took place in July 2016 and they even celebrated their one-year dating anniversary at the restaurant where they first met up. Things appeared to be serious between the two as they met each other's families. Not to mention, Sydney and Arie were kind of living together too. She continued: "I attended all of his family holidays including Thanksgiving and Christmas... My family was head over heels about him,. They thought he was very charming and very sweet and they really liked him. [Arie and I] traveled together and I went to his races to support him. And he also actually lived with me for a few months while he rented out his house back at the beginning of the year... He typically rented it out during race season, so he was kind of gone a lot. But when he was in town he stayed with me and he asked [if he could]." However, a few weeks before his Bachelor announcement, Luyendyk and Stempfley broke up. Specifically, the duo called it quits on July 31. In regards to their split, Sydney dished: "The night before the breakup, we hung a light fixture together, made beef stew and I slept over. Everything was normal! The next day, we had plans after I got off work. It was just a regular day, so it definitely caught me by surprise. It was over the phone originally, just out of the heat of an argument, just a small argument. But then I went over to his place and we discussed it further and that's kind of when it happened [for good] -- it was in person. It was very emotional. You know, you're trying to get answers and you can't. I couldn't really get a definite answer … I've never seen him cry, ever. I could tell that he was emotional, but there wasn't tears on his end." Oof. Tough break. To make matters worse, the blonde stunner discovered her ex was going to be the next Bachelor thanks to Good Morning America. Apparently, prior to the big reveal, Sydney asked Arie if he was being considered for season 22. She continued: "Backing up, I saw Arie's name being tossed around on Twitter, suggesting he should become the next Bachelor. So I texted him for the first time in awhile, exactly four days before the announcement on Labor Day, and I said, 'Are you awake?' And he called me within a minute or two. I asked him, 'If you were becoming the next Bachelor, would you at least have the decency to tell me?' and he said, 'Yes, of course,' and then proceeded to tell me that he hadn't been contacted by producers, so he doubts that would even be a possibility. So, when I found out he was becoming the next Bachelor a month after our break up, I'm sure you can imagine that I was completely blindsided." Oh, Arie, noooooo. Per Sydney, she "would like to think" The Bachelor had nothing to do with her breakup. Hmmm, we have our doubts about that. Ironically, Stempfley applied to be a contestant on The Bachelor as a way to get over her heartbreak. Arie had not been informed of her decision to apply. The 26-year-old receptionist relayed: "I applied just about a week or so ago actually, not too long ago. I leaned on my girlfriends for support through this time and at one point they suggested that I apply for the show. It had never really crossed my mind but I decided to do [it]. So I actually only submitted an online application. I didn't get around to making a video, so I wasn't far into the process." While ABC has yet to invite Sydney onto the show, she has claimed that she's has thought about whether or not she'd appear on the program now that Arie's the lead. Understandably, the young lady has many questions: "I would need to think it through before coming up with a definite answer. But I do feel like I have questions, of course, [like], 'Is this the reason? [Is this] why you broke up with me?' That's probably my biggest question." At the end of the day, Sydney is just looking for some closure as Arie "led [her] to believe that he loved [her] too. To be fair, the former love birds never actually exchanged "I love yous." Eek. As for the women who plan to vie for Luyendyk's heart, Sydney simply wishes them "good luck" as her ex is a "great guy." Sureeeee he is... [Image via Instagram.].....»»
