Years before the 26-year-old stormed into a Texas church with a military-style rifle and went on a mass shooting rampage, he was convicted of assaulting his wife and breaking his infant stepson's skull. Related: Trump Says Texas Church Shooting 'Isn't A Guns Situation' While stationed at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico in 2012, Kelley was charged with "assault on his spouse and assault on their child." Don Christensen, a retired colonel who prosecuted Kelley for the Air Force, told the New York Times: "He assaulted his stepson severely enough that he fractured his skull, and he also assaulted his wife. He pled to intentionally doing it." After 12 months confinement, the self-proclaimed atheist was discharged from the military with a bad conduct discharge, which kicked off a downward spiral that included divorce and an animal cruelty charge. On Sunday, Kelley appeared to get revenge on his second wife Danielle and a faith he professed to loathe when he killed 26 people and injured 20 others at the First Baptist Church. Among those Kelley killed in the church was own grandmother-in-law Lula Woincinski White (pictured above). Kelley's other in-laws and second wife were also members of the church, but not present during the day of the massacre. Related: Marilyn Manson Points Fake Rifle At San Bernardino Concert On Monday, Wilson County Sheriff Joe Tackitt told reporters that 12 to 14 of the people killed were kids. Releasing the identity of more victims, officials confirmed Marc Daniel Holcombe and his 18-month-old daughter Noah were killed. After the shooting on Sunday, friends from Kelley's high school took to Facebook to speak about the tragedy. While most remembered him as an awkward but friendly teenager, many admitted hearing the news wasn't surprising -- since, in recent years, Kelley grew so dark that many unfriended him on the social media site. Longtime friend Courtney Kleiber shared on Sunday: "I had always known there was something off about him. But he wasn't always a ‘psychopath' though… [He was] happy at one point, normal, your average kid. We had a lot of good times together. Over the years we all saw him change into something that he wasn't. To be completely honest, I'm really not surprised this happened, and I don't think anyone who knew him is very surprised either." One survivor from the Texas Church shooting has bravely opened up about how she made it through Sunday's tragedy. According to Rosanne Solis, when gunman Devin Kelley began raining bullets on the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, many churchgoers responded with screams. Related: Texas Church Shooter Killed His Own Grandmother-In-Law However, Solis and many others began playing dead while Kelley reloaded his weapon. While speaking with ABC News, Rosanne recalled: "I played dead and I made sure that I hid myself good under [a] bench. You could hear a pin drop in there, silence. Real quiet … I knew if I said something he was gonna kill me. He was looking for people to shoot. More people to shoot." What an awful situation. As you surely know, the now deceased 26-year-old killed 26 people and injured at least 20 more in an attack on the rural church. It's said Kelley, who was a former Air Force member, dressed in all-black tactical gear with a ballistics vest for his Sunday morning assault. Unsurprisingly, Solis thought she was going to die. She continued: "I'm gonna die, I knew I was gonna die. I knew 'cause the shots were going close to my head I didn't want to die... He was shooting the people on the floor, they were on the ground already bleeding. They were scared. Nobody was about to say a word … I would not even move, I would not even make a sound." To make matters worse, Rosanne claims Devin taunted the terrified victims. In fact, she remembers hearing him ask: "Is everybody done?" Per Solis, the shooter's victims were " trapped inside" the rural church since there was "no where to go." Kelley was truly a monster. As was previously reported, Kelley was eventually driven from the house of worship after local resident Stephen Willeford exchanged gunfire with the culprit. Devin was later found deceased in his vehicle in Guadalupe County, TX. The domestic terrorist passed away from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Of course, our thoughts are with those affected by this tragedy. Although, we hope this sad bout of violence brings about change regarding our gun laws. Such a sad situation all around. As we previously reported, on Sunday morning, at least 26 lives were taken after a gunman opened fire on the First Baptist Church. Reports have since confirmed the identity of the now deceased shooter, named Devin Kelley. Related: Jason Aldean Resumes Tour Following Vegas Massacre According to CNN, the 26-year-old mass shooter was an Air Force veteran who previously worked at the Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico. It's said his focus was in logistics readiness. Apparently, Kelley had a violent past as he was discharged from the Air Force in 2014, over a 2012 court-martial where he was accused of having assaulted his spouse and their child. Smh. Per an Air Force spokesperson, Devin was discharged for "bad conduct," given a reduction in rank, and sentenced to 12 months in confinement. Still, many are wondering why Kelley targeted the house of worship. While it was initially believed that Devin was "not from [the] immediate area," The Post has since claimed that Kelley was from a county near the site of his rampage. Not to mention, it's reported that Kelley's in-laws have been members of the First Baptist Church, but were not there at the time of the shooting. Reportedly, Wilson County Sheriff Joe Tackitt has said all but one victim has been identified and that nearly everyone who was in the church received an injury of some kind. Tackitt added that the gunman was armed with two weapons -- an assault riffle and a handgun. After receiving gunshot wounds from a civilian, Kelley allegedly shot himself. It's currently unknown which shot ultimately killed the domestic terrorist. Clearly, we've got more to learn about this shooter, so be sure to check back for any and all updates. As always, our thoughts are with those affected by this tragedy. [Image via AP Images.].....»»

Harvey Weinstein Accused Of Violently Attacking Cannes Chauffeur After He Failed To Pick Up Prostitutes For Him

"The Pig," as he's known in Cannes, has previously been accused of beating up a chauffeur, who he requested pick up hookers for him. Mickael Chemloul described to Nice-Matin, a publication local to Nice, France, about being attacked by the movie producer in 2013, and even suing him in 2014. The case was "inexplicably dismissed" despite the driver offering up the medical records showing his injuries. Related: Harvey Could Still Face Prosecution For Rose McGowan Rape According to his account, on July 14, 2013, he says he drove Harvey to a beach club, Club 55, to meet two prostitutes. They didn't end up showing, so he violently went at Mickael: "He went crazy and hit me. At that moment, there was no question I'd never work for him again." He also talked to French media outlet BFMTV about bringing Harvey young women, who often left his room in tears: "I felt like driving poor innocent people, innocent girls, taking them into the wolf's mouth and I could not tell them 'where you put your feet, it's dangerous.' The one that marked me the most was a girl who was a fan of him, who loved him, who followed him for years. She gave her body, her soul, she ave everything to this gentleman because he promised her to make castings and make a film she never shot." The professional driver is writing a book about his experiences with the mogul, his working title currently being The Last Monster of Hollywood. A Weinstein spokesperson denied the allegations, telling The Hollywood Reporter: "There was never any altercation between the driver and Mr. Weinstein. The driver was terminated by the company because of his habit of speeding, many times as fast as 140 miles per hour. It is a fallacy that the driver procured any meetings of any kind with anyone for Mr. Weinstein or anyone else at the company. He was a driver and that was his sole task." Others who have worked with the disgraced 65-year-old have described his "pig"-like ways. A longtime bartender at the Hotel du Cap, a favorite of Harvey's and also allegedly the location where Asia Argento claims she was raped, shared: "[With Harvey] it's everything you have read, and worse. He was always in here with one or two young girls, very loud, but we are always polite because he is a guest. Unfortunately, now he is the most famous person to have stayed here." And a housekeeper at another of Harvey's favorite hotels, the Majestic Hotel, didn't recognize his name but immediately recognized his picture: "Oh, he was the ugly one who thought he was God. I didn't even know who he was, but he was very bossy. Men like George Clooney or Brad Pitt, they were such lovely men and so handsome. But not him. He was a mean pig." An unnamed agent who is said to have worked with the producer for years in Cannes, described to THR: "Harvey was a Jekyll and Hyde character, and one of those sides is a true artist; the other side is pretty hard to swallow. We warned all our clients that he was a groper and a pig." Meanwhile, another anonymous source told Le Parisien: "He was known in Cannes simply as 'The Pig.'" That nickname doesn't even begin to describe him now with all the allegations of sexual harassment and assault. [Image via WENN.].....»»

Authorities said 23 people were found dead inside the church, two were found outside, and one died after being taken to the hospital, following what Gov. Greg Abbott called the deadliest mass shooting in his state's history. The now-deceased shooter has been identified as Devin Patrick Kelley, an Air Force vet with a "troubled past," according to Abbott. Related: There's 'Enough' Evidence To Arrest Harvey Weinstein For Rape The 26-year-old's motive for the shooting is unclear, but more concerning questions remain for some town residents -- who still reportedly don't know if their family members are injured, at the hospital, or deceased. Officials have not released all the names of the 26 people killed -- whose ages range from 5 to 72 -- however, some of the victims' identities have surfaced. One victim was the 14-year-old daughter of the church's pastor Annabelle Pomeroy (below). Her mother Sherri Pomeroy confirmed to CBS News via text message on Sunday, writing: "My husband and I were ironically out of town in two different states. We lost our 14-year-old daughter today and many friends. Neither of us have made it back into town yet to personally see the devastation. I am at the Charlotte airport trying to get home as soon as I can." The family reeling most from the attack is the Holcombe family. Joe and Claryce Holcombe lost eight members of their family -- including children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Among those lost were Joe's 60-year-old son Bryan, who had been been filling in for the paster that day, and his 58-year-old wife Karla (above). Joe's pregnant granddaughter-in-law Crystal Holcombe (below) was also killed; along with her three children, Emily Hill, Meghan Hill, and Greg Hill, and her unborn child. The youngest victims of the shooting were identified as 5-year-old Brooke Ward and 7-year-old Emily Garza. Emily (middle row, right) was shot and underwent surgery on Sunday but succumbed to her injuries. Brooke's (front row, left) 5-year-old brother Ryland Ward (front row, right) had multiple bullets surgically removed and was stable as of Sunday night. As we're sure you heard, a 26-year-old gunman killed at least 26 people and wounded about 20 others inside the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas on Sunday. In response, POTUS told reporters the shooting "isn't a guns situation," but rather a "mental health problem." How about: it's both. The self-proclaimed King Of Instagram is a rich d-bag who posts primarily about his leisurely party lifestyle jetting around tropical islands surrounded by women in bikinis. Basically, he feeds off envy. Think Scott Disick without the charm. He's also a gun nut who often posts pics of his insane collection (above) and brags about what he would do if someone broke into his home. While other concertgoers were helping strangers to safety, making tourniquets, shielding their loved ones, Bilzerian just ran. Well, he didn't JUST run. That part is understandable. It was chaos. But the reason we know he ran instead of helping anyone else is because his hands were full. Of his phone. While he filmed himself for clicks on Instagram Story. He begins his video with him telling his 23 million followers: "Holy fuck this girl just got shot in the fucking head!" Always playing 'operator dress up' and so so tough when the cameras are on. A woman just got shot in the head and you are running away filming; that's not what operators do. Please stop trying to be someone your not. People are dying, you're running away not helping them and pretending it's worthy of a video is disgusting." In response, Bilzerian called Meyer a "retard," posting: "So I wake up this morning and the news is talking shit saying some Marine was saying that I was a pussy for running away and that I should have stood my ground when the guy was shooting at me with a machine gun. So, I mean if we follow that retard's logic we'd probably have 600 dead if everyone stood their ground instead of running for cover." We doubt Meyer meant to just stand there; plenty of people helped their fellow citizens without taking the time to post to the 'gram. Related: Here's Just One Story Of Someone Who Saved Lives The backlash from all over pushed Bilzerian's pal to post a previously unseen moment from that night -- the social media star finding cover then when some cops run up asking one for a gun. Bothering police. We guess he's going to say if he'd actually had a gun that night he would have been able to take out the shooter. He told People: "It was a pretty strong wake up call. This stuff can happen without warning anywhere. It's not smart to get caught without a gun." Even after all this, he still believes he could have helped with ANOTHER gun, and that he would have been able to return fire without causing more loss of innocent life -- and wouldn't have been mistaken for the damn shooter himself. On Sunday evening, the controversial rocker performed at the Knotfest music festival in San Bernardino, CA. As part of his show, the wheelchair bound Manson sang into a mic which was attached to a fake rifle. Related: The Texas Church Shooter Has Been Identified This decision was particularly troubling since the San Bernardino community was devastated by a mass shooting only back in December 2015. In case you forgot, terrorists Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik took the lives of 14 people when they shot up a Department of Public Health training event using semi-automatic pistols and rifles. Understandably, the community was left shaken up following the tragedy. Not to mention, this gig occurred mere hours after the tragic Texas church shooting. Thus, it's so shocking that the 48-year-old would choose such an insensitive prop during his performance of We Know Where You Fucking Live. Still, Manson's whole M.O. is to strike up controversy -- so perhaps the choice was a deliberate one?? Who knows. Be sure to CLICK HERE to check out footage of the rifle mic stand for yourself. Joss Whedon Called Out By His Ex-Wife For Having Multiple Affairs & Being A Fake Feminist — "He"s Not Who He Pretends To Be"

Joss Whedon's ex-wife is not holding anything back! Kai Cole, who was with the Avengers screenwriter for 20 years total, is calling out her longtime partner for claiming to be a feminist even though he cheated on her throughout the duration of their 16-year marriage. Kai Cole, who was with the Avengers screenwriter for 20 years total, is calling out her longtime partner for claiming to be a feminist even though he cheated on her throughout the duration of their 16-year marriage. In an essay published in The Wrap, Cole detailed Whedon's "hypocrisy of being out in the world preaching feminist ideals, while at the same time, taking away my right to make choices for my life and my body based on the truth." Related: JAY-Z Gets SUPER Candid About His Met Gala Brawl At the beginning of their relationship, Cole says she was the one who encouraged Whedon to adapt Buffy the Vampire Slayer into a TV show -- which is when the first affair happened: "There were times in our relationship that I was uncomfortable with the attention Joss paid other women. He always had a lot of female friends, but he told me it was because his mother raised him as a feminist, so he just liked women better. He said he admired and respected females, he didn't lust after them. I believed him and trusted him. On the set of Buffy, Joss decided to have his first secret affair." It wasn't until the end of their marriage that Whedon finally told Cole about his infidelity. She recalled: "Fifteen years later, when he was done with our marriage and finally ready to tell the truth, he wrote me, 'When I was running Buffy, I was surrounded by beautiful, needy, aggressive young women. It felt like I had a disease, like something from a Greek myth. Suddenly I am a powerful producer and the world is laid out at my feet and I can't touch it.' But he did touch it. He said he understood, 'I would have to lie — or conceal some part of the truth — for the rest of my life,' but he did it anyway, hoping that first affair, 'would be ENOUGH, that THEN we could move on and outlast it.'" But instead, Cole says Whedon "hid multiple affairs and a number of inappropriate emotional ones that he had with his actresses, co-workers, fans and friends, while he stayed married to me." Not only did Whedon lie to Cole, he was lying to the world -- she went on: "He never conceded the hypocrisy of being out in the world preaching feminist ideals, while at the same time, taking away my right to make choices for my life and my body based on the truth. He deceived me for 15 years, so he could have everything he wanted. I believed, everyone believed, that he was one of the good guys, committed to fighting for women's rights, committed to our marriage, and to the women he worked with. But I now see how he used his relationship with me as a shield, both during and after our marriage, so no one would question his relationships with other women or scrutinize his writing as anything other than feminist." She concluded: "Until recently, Joss was still letting the illusion of our marriage stay intact. Now that it is finally public, I want to let women know that he is not who he pretends to be. I want the people who worship him to know he is human, and the organizations giving him awards for his feminist work, to think twice in the future about honoring a man who does not practice what he preaches. But no matter what happens, or how people interpret this statement, I no longer have to carry the burden of Joss' long-term deceit and confessions. I am free." Wow! Joss' camp responded to his ex's claims to The Wrap with the statement: "While this account includes inaccuracies and misrepresentations which can be harmful to their family, Joss is not commenting, out of concern for his children and out of respect for his ex-wife." Interesting. Thoughts on this??? SOUND OFF in the comments (below)! [Image via WENN.].....»»

Danny Masterson's rape case has been inexplicably stalled in LA courts despite there being "overwhelming" evidence against him, according to police sources. As we've covered, allegations from the early 2000s surfaced last year regarding accusations that the That '70s Show star "violently" raped four women, three of whom are also Scientologists. The incidents were initially reported to the church, but nothing ever came from it. Related: Second Woman Comes Forward To Accuse Dustin Hoffman Of Sexual Harassment Now, The Huffington Post reports the investigation into Masterson has been "slow-rolled," writing: "Despite compelling ― what one law enforcement source described as "overwhelming" — evidence, the charges have not been approved for filing. The evidence includes audiotapes, emails sent to and from Scientology officers at the time the alleged rapes happened, forensic computer evidence and a threatening handwritten letter Masterson sent to one of the alleged victims, according to two people with knowledge of the evidence in the district attorney's possession." The Church of Scientology has been widely criticized for its dealing of sexual assault cases in the past -- and now people are raising an eyebrow at Netflix, who continues to promote Masterson's show, The Ranch, despite the allegations. It's very peculiar why the actor's case is being treated this way, especially since Netflix brought down the hammer immediately after the allegations against Kevin Spacey. We'll keep you posted as we learn more about the case, and possible interference from the church. [Image via DJDM/WENN.].....»»

Joel Osteen Has A Message For Twitter Devils Who Think His Church Didn"t Do Enough To Help Hurricane Harvey Victims!

Joel Osteen is unbothered by the critics. In a new interview, the megachurch pastor spoke on the backlash he received for not opening his Lakewood Church doors sooner to shelter Hurricane Harvey victims. For those who missed it, Osteen had to make a round of toothy interviews to address accusations saying Lakewood kept its doors closed to hurricane evacuees, and he had a rosary of excuses for doing so. Related: Tyler Perry Donates $1 Million To Hurricane Harvey Relief! Now with Lakewood finally giving shelter to a worthy amount of displaced locals, the church leader has no desire to answer to the haters on social media -- because he's only worried about serving @God. Speaking to ET's Kevin Frazier on Thursday, he explained: "You know, I'm not really concerned about the Twitter critics. We're concerned with these people [victims now at the church] and how they move forward. And there were safety issues that people don't understand. But, I really believe that if people were in my shoes, they would have done the same thing. When the building is clear, when it's safe, we can start taking people. That's what we have done for 60 years. We love helping people and that's what our message is all about." Originally, Lakewood posted that it was "inaccessible due to severe flooding." However, videos shared on Twitter appeared to show the 16,000-seat Houston church in rather dry surroundings. Osteen told critics not to go by those pictures, because he has others that prove the building flooded (Of course, you'll have to take his word for it): "I think another thing that people don't understand -- it could flood. That street could flood and in 14 hours it can be down. ... So, you can't go by that. I have video of it flooded on either Saturday night or Sunday night, I can't remember. But, you know, it can go down in 14, 15 hours." Lakewood eventually opened its doors on Tuesday. In a round of subsequent interviews, Osteen said the city didn't originally ask the church to be a shelter, but instead a "distribution center." Related: Miranda Lambert Has Rescued Over A Hundred Dogs In Texas! Still, that doesn't mean Lakewood couldn't have been better prepared for the disaster. He admitted: "Knowing what I know now, I would have put staff in here before the storm hit, put beds, do everything we could to be prepared. When it catches us by surprise, even when the cities overflow and, you know, nobody dreams that shelters will overflow. ... Hindsight, it's 20/20, but we got to move forward and do what we've done for the last 60 years and take care of these people, help them rebuild their lives, bring hope to their spirits and let them know that they can come out of this stronger than before." Despite Osteen's charitable efforts, a deluge of haters continued to rain down on him on social media. Though the 54-year-old didn't seem to care, as that's a layer of hell he has no intention on giving energy to: "I don't spend any energy on the Twitter universe or social media. And I don't mean that disrespectfully. I just don't put any energy into it. I mean, life is too short to put energy into negative emotion and I feel at peace because we did the right thing….Hey, my reputation is in God's hands and he can take care of that. We're going to continue to help people." That's right, Joel. Judgment is for the Lord -- not your 6.22 million followers on the platform you "don't spend any energy on."
