The 31-year-old actress and star of the show chatted with The Hollywood Reporter about Orphan Black’s finale after five seasons. “We’ve had such a good run with Clone Club and it’s been the whole reason people have watched the show, so I don’t know what that’s going to look like in the future,” Tatiana told site. “It’s all been so moving… This fan base has been so supportive and fans across the world have been supporting each other and taking care of each other… that’s just the coolest thing.” When asked about a possible spinoff series or movie, it doesn’t sound like Tatiana wants anymore Orphan Black – right now at least. “If there was some story that we really wanted to tell that fit in the Orphan Black universe and it was vital and different and new then that would be super cool,” Tatiana said. “But we finished this before it trailed on too long so hopefully it left people wanting more as opposed to being like, ‘Thank God that’s over.’” For more from Tatiana Maslany‘s interview, head over to HollywoodReporter.com......»»

Orphan Black‘s latest episode aired last night and revealed the death of Felix and Sarah’s beloved foster mother Mrs. S, played by actress Maria Doyle Kennedy. Mrs. S was shot by Ferdinand after he was betrayed by Rachel. The two were in a shooting match and while Mrs. S did get in some shots, she was ultimately killed. Creator Graeme Manson spoke with EW about the shocking death. “If you track the story and you track the story of Sarah and Mrs. S, we’re telling a generational story now. Ultimately, we’re telling that story about Sarah’s journey, and to step into those big shoes of her mother is really the strongest journey that Sarah can make. So, there was a drop in the writer’s room. There was one of those moments of deep breath when the idea came up because it’s our final season. Someone has to go, and this made sense. And the first phone calls that we made were to Tatiana and to Maria to talk about this, and everybody had the same reaction — that gut reaction that this was the gut punch the series needed,” Graeme told the publication......»»

Jake Gyllenhaal Faces “Stronger” Journey With New Trailer

The true story centers on Jeff Bauman (Gyllenhaal), a 27-year-old who lost both his legs at the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing. Bauman, who attended the marathon to win back his ex-girlfriend Erin (Tatiana Maslany), ended up helping officers identify one of the bombers. The narrative focuses on Bauman’s physical and emotional rehabilitation, as his determination and iron will exemplifies the term “Boston Strong.” After the character rich studies in Manglehorn and Prince Avalanche, Gordon Green directed the underrated Sandra Bullock drama Our Brand Is Crisis. From the looks of the trailer, Stronger should continue the filmmaker’s creative momentum, even if audiences may shy away from another movie about the event. Patriots Day, the Mark Wahlberg headlined feature that centered on the hunt for the terrorists involved in the bombing, made just $31 million domestically when it was released earlier this year. Check out the trailer below and tell us what you think! Stronger, co-starring Miranda Richardson, hits theaters September 22.
