The band’s self-titled album will feature new lead singer Jeff Gutt, and the project is currently buoyed by the Top 10 rock radio single “Meadow.” In support of the album, STP will embark on a tour that begins next month (March 2nd at The Canyon in Santa Clarita, Ca.) and ends in July (a July 14 date at Rock USA 2108 in Oshkosh, WI). “With so much time and experience gone by in life we feel compelled to dig back into a 30-year catalog and really try to reflect and choose what songs we feel haven’t been performed live,” said bass player Robert DeLeo. “We want to give people who have come to see us in the past a chance to hear something they haven’t heard before at previous STP shows.” The album comes out March 16, and fans who pre-order the album will receive instant downloads of “Meadow” and their second single “Roll Me Under.” For more info on exclusive album bundles (including limited edition hand signed lithographs) and tour dates, check out STP’s official site. Women May Have Been Handed A Huge Abortion Rights Win, Thanks To… Satan??

With all the attacks on women's rights in this country coming from Christians, we guess it makes sense that it would be Satanists fighting back! Hilariously [...] With all the attacks on women's rights in this country coming from Christians, we guess it makes sense that it would be Satanists fighting back! The Satanic Temple has been fighting a legal battle in Missouri over laws forcing women to jump through extra hoops to get abortions -- making them one step closer to illegal. Hilariously they're using the infamous Religious Freedom Restoration Act -- yep, the one businesses have been using to refuse service to the LGBT community -- as their central argument. Related: GOP Senate Candidate Doesn't Want Daughters To Grow Up To Be 'Feminist She-Devils'! "Mary Doe" says she was forced to view an ultrasound of her fetus and read a "life begins at conception" pamphlet -- as well as waiting 72 hours -- before getting an abortion. Her lawyer argues these medically unnecessary steps shouldn't be forced upon her because she "adheres to principles of the Satanic temple" and "has deeply held religious beliefs that a nonviable fetus is not a separate human being but is part of her body and that abortion of a nonviable fetus does not terminate the life of a separate, unique, living human being." The Satanic Temple's Jex Blackmore explained: "The State has essentially established a religious indoctrination program intended to push a single ideological viewpoint. The law is intended to punish women who disagree with this opinion. Missouri's state-mandated informed consent booklets explicitly say that life begins at conception, which is a nonmedical religious viewpoint that many people disagree with. Forcing women to read this information and then wait 72-hours to consider the State's opinion is a clear violation of the Establishment Clause." Ha! Everyone already knew this was just a way for the religious right to obstruct a woman's right to choose -- we just never thought someone would use their own religious protection laws against them! The most shocking part? It looks like they may actually win their argument! Related: Donald Trump Once Talked About Having Wanted To Abort Tiffany… After arguing their case to the Missouri Supreme Court on Wednesday, they are already claiming victory. According to an audio recording in a press release by the Temple, justices asked the State's lawyer if "it's the position of the State that an ultrasound does not have to be conducted unless a person says they want the opportunity to hear the fetal heartbeat." Missouri's Solicitor General D. John Sauer agreed that the State's interpretation of the law is not that women should be forced to go through this, only offered the "opportunity." No official ruling has come down yet, but by that declaration they already have struck quite a blow for women's rights. BTW, the Satanic Temple does not believe in Satan as a literal being but as an inspiration for rebellion. [Image via Twitter/YouTube.].....»»

The Late Scott Weiland Has More Debts Than His Estate Can Likely Pay For

Scott Weiland had so many outstanding debts when he died that his estate may not be able to foot the bill. Mary Weiland, the ex wife and estate administrator for the late Stone Temple Pilots frontman, filed documents claiming the rocker's debts severely outweigh the value of the estate. Though Scott's property is still being appraised, the running value is $561,846 -- significantly less than the sum still owed to creditors, which includes a claim by City National Bank for $691,971. Related: Hugh Hefner's Trust Has Some VERY Strict Deets! The docs also make it clear that Scott's widow Jaime Weiland has no interest in the estate because she had a prenuptial agreement with Scott, who died of an overdose in December 2015. All of Jaime's debts are reportedly settled. Mary, on the other hand, remains in a sticky situation. Though she thinks the estate may end up being estimated around $2 million once the appraising is complete, she is still unsure if that will be enough to settle the singer's unpaid bills.
