The 37-year-old Pitch Perfect actress says that a “male star” once asked her to perform a sexual act on him while his friends filmed and she also had a hotel room encounter with a “top director.” “I feel lucky that I grew up in a pro-female environment, going to an all-girls high school, and that I have such a strong sense of self and have taken self-defense classes. I had the ability to escape both incidents. I realize not everyone is as lucky,” Rebel said in her series of tweets on Saturday (November 11). You can read everything she tweeted below. I've been away in a 'bubble' of sorts creating new comedy overseas but it's so hard to hear all these stories relating to sexual harassment and assault in Hollywood. As you guys know, I'm a pretty strong and confident person but even I have a story to tell. — Rebel Wilson (@RebelWilson) November 11, 2017 A male star, in a position of power asked me to go into a room with him and then asked me repeatedly to stick my finger up his ass. All whilst his male 'friends' tried to film the incident on their iPhones and laughed. I repeatedly said no and eventually got out of the room. — Rebel Wilson (@RebelWilson) November 11, 2017 Click inside to read the rest of Rebel Wilson’s tweets… I called my agent immediately and my lawyer made a complaint with the studio – basically to protect myself that in the event something similar ever occurred I'd be able to walk out of the job and not obliged to return. — Rebel Wilson (@RebelWilson) November 11, 2017 Later I was threatened by one of the star's representatives to be nice and support the male star. I refused. The whole thing was disgusting.I've told hundreds of people in the industry the story in more graphic detail basically to warn them off this individual. — Rebel Wilson (@RebelWilson) November 11, 2017 Earlier in my career, I also had a 'hotel room' encounter with a top director. I thought we were there to talk comedy. Nothing physical happened because the guy's wife called and started abusing him over the phone for sleeping with actresses and luckily she was yelling so loud… — Rebel Wilson (@RebelWilson) November 11, 2017 that I could hear her and I bolted out of there immediately. I know my stories aren't as horrific as other women and men have described – but if you've ever experienced anything like this I feel for you and can relate on some level. — Rebel Wilson (@RebelWilson) November 11, 2017 I know, moving forward, that if I witness this behavior, whether it happens to me or someone I know, I will no longer be POLITE. Russell Simmons & Ex-Wife Kimora Lee Simmons Respond To Alleged Victim"s Rape Accusations In $5 Million Lawsuit

Deny, deny, deny. Russell Simmons is vehement he's innocent as a new lawsuit adds to the hip-hop mogul's mounting legal troubles. As you may've seen, the 60-year-old has been sued by Jennifer Jarosik for $5 million for allegedly raping her on two occasions. Russell Simmons is vehement he's innocent as a new lawsuit adds to the hip-hop mogul's mounting legal troubles. As you may've seen, the 60-year-old has been sued by Jennifer Jarosik for $5 million for allegedly raping her on two occasions. Related: James Franco Was Cut From Vanity Fair's 2018 Hollywood Issue Although this is just the latest sexual misconduct claim brought against the New York native, he is maintaining his innocence and has called Jarosik's allegation "absolutely untrue." In a lengthy statement to E! News, Russell stated: "This allegation is absolutely untrue. I look forward to having my day in court—where, unlike the court of public opinion, I will have the ability to make use of fair processes that ensure that justice will be done and that the full truth will be known. In the meantime, please understand that I will not litigate this matter in the media. I am confident that when all is said and all is done, it will be as clear to others as it is to me that I did not do what this lawsuit accuses me of doing." In regards to the other rape and assault claims he's currently facing, Simmons continued: "I am devastated by any reason I may have given to anyone to say or think of me in the ways that are currently being described. In recent weeks, some former business, creative and romantic partners have aired grievances as claims I categorically reject. In some of these instances, financial motives and direct contradictory witness testimony has been supplied to the media, which has been completely left out of stories. The current allegations range from the patently untrue to the frivolous and hurtful. The presumption of innocent until proven guilty must not be replaced by 'Guilty by Accusation.'" And, despite the many women who've accused him of misconduct, the businessman has defended that all of his liaisons have been consensual. He added: "These horrific accusations have shocked me to my core and all of my relations have been consensual. I am blessed to have shared extraordinary relationships, whether through work or love, with many great women; and I have enormous respect for the women's movement worldwide and their struggle for respect, dignity, equality and power... What I will not accept is responsibility for what I have not done. I have conducted my life with a message of peace and love. Although I have been candid about how I have lived in books and interviews detailing my flaws, I will relentlessly fight against any untruthful character assassination that paints me as a man of violence." On top of his denial, Russell has stepped down from all his companies and closed his Hollywood Yoga center. Nonetheless, Jennifer is standing by her accusation as it's said she's filing reports against Simmons in both New York and Los Angeles. Per The Blast, Jarosik's legal team have confirmed that Jennifer is heading to New York to file a claim with the NYPD over an alleged rape which took place at the industry vet's Big Apple residence in 2011. She will then file a report with the LAPD over the 2016 rape that allegedly took place at Russell's Tinseltown pad. Apparently, following the lawsuit filing, Russell texted Jennifer: "Really?" To which she replied: "Really #MeToo." And it appears that Jennifer's lawyer Perry Wander is ready for a fight, as he dished: "If Russell really wants to go to trial on his case, He will face all of his accusers as prior acts of sexual assault and victims are relevant evidence in this case... This will be similar to the Dr. Nassar case where victims will get their day in court to describe the interactions with him." Man, oh man. In an additional statement, Wander called out the "hip hop industry" for causing a "deep rooted history of misogyny and discrimination against women." Still, Russell hasn't lost the support of all women as his ex-wife, Kimora Lee Simmons, has vocalized her support for the hitmaker. On Thursday, the fashion designer took to Instagram and shared: Now that I put my baby down...A post shared by Kimora Lee Simmons (@kimoraleesimmons) on Jan 25, 2018 at 7:40pm PST We are getting two VERY DIFFERENT pictures of the type of man Russell is. Kelly Cutrone Says Russell Simmons Tried To Rape Her As The Mogul Continues To Deny Allegations With Polygraph Tests!

Another woman comes forward… In a Page Six report published on Thursday, America's Next Top Model star Kelly Cutrone says Russell Simmons tried to rape her in 1991. In a Page Six report published on Thursday, America's Next Top Model star Kelly Cutrone says Russell Simmons tried to rape her in 1991. According to The Hills alum, when she was 26, she bumped into the Def Jam co-founder at a party where he invited her to his apartment. Although she declined, she agreed to go with the mogul to his friend's place. Related: Louis C.K. Breaks His Silence: 'These Stories Are True' However, the People's Revolution founder believes Simmons actually took her back to his apartment, where the alleged assault occurred. Cutrone recalls: "He pushed me into his apartment and then he threw me down on the floor and literally tried to grab… take my clothes off of me... And I started kicking him really, really hard, screaming, telling him to get the fuck off of me. And that I would have him killed if he ever fucking laid a hand on me... I actually think I told him I would call Page Six! I was a publicist! I think I told him I would call Page Six and have him murdered." After the alleged attack, the publicist immediately left the residence. "[Simmons] was just really shaken up and I fucking split. I remember running out the door and getting a cab and all I remember was that I got in a cab and I remember a feeling — which was so crazy — of, 'Oh my god. Somebody just tried to rape me. What do I do?' And then the energy of going to the police and pressing charges against him was overwhelming to me... Then what would happen afterward — and this would happen years afterward — I'd be at a table and Russell fucking Simmons would come up to the table and then people would be like, 'Kelly, do you know Russell?,' and I'd be like, 'Yes, I know Russell — he tried to rape me.'" While Simmons has yet to directly address Cutrone's claims, he has responded to the numerous accusations against him by saying: "I vehemently deny all these allegations. These horrific accusations have shocked me to my core and all of my relations have been consensual." In addition to the New York Times and Los Angeles Times reports published on Wednesday, at least 12 women have publicly accused the music exec of sexual misconduct, with some claiming rape. Unfortunately for Simmons, the police are now officially involved. According to the LA Times, an unidentified NYPD spokesperson says authorities have opened an investigation against Simmons, and are in the initial stages of contacting alleged victims. At least seven accounts allegedly happened in New York. One of the women -- Sherri Hines -- says she was contacted by officials early Thursday. In the aforementioned LA Times piece, Hines says the author raped her in his office in 1983. Simmons' attorney, Brad Rose, says his client "fully supports and will cooperate with the police inquiry and is confident of a swift resolution." Despite the overwhelming amount of claims against him, Russell is doing everything in his power to clear his name. According to an image obtained by TMZ, on Wednesday, Kimora Lee Simmons' ex reportedly passed a lie detector test where, his team says, the results allegedly prove he did not assault accuser Keri Claussen Khalighi. In 1991, Khalighi says Simmons forced her to perform oral sex on him while director Brett Ratner sat and watched. Simmons' other attorneys, Michael Sterling and E. Carlos Tanner, say their client will continue to take polygraph tests to discredit claims made by four other women. In case you missed it, prior to the polygraph news, Russell teased on Instagram early Thursday that he will "properly defend [himself]" against Khalighi's claims. He says on Friday, he will focus on "the case of [another alleged victim] Jenny Lumet," who made her accusations in a guest column for The Hollywood Reporter. [Image via Ivan Nikolov/WENN.].....»»

As you surely know, over a dozen women have come forward and accused the business mogul of sexual misconduct, with some claiming rape. We're sure Simmons' legal team is sweatin' right about now as two alleged victims have officially filed police reports with the New York Police Department. Related: Kelly Cutrone Talks Coming Forward With Her Allegations Against Russell According to TMZ, both victims filed complaints with the authorities and claimed that Russell raped them, in 1983 and 1991, respectively. One of the women has publicly identified herself, as she previously shared her experience on Today with Megyn Kelly. The first complainant, named Sherri Hines, said the Rush Communications CEO raped her at his office back in the early '80s. As for the second complainant, she has chosen to remain anonymous. Per the report, Russell assaulted the unnamed woman at his Manhattan residence following a date in '91. It's said she was 32 years old at the time. Allegedly, Kimora Lee Simmons' ex tried to remove the victim's dress while the two sat on a couch. When she rejected his advances, the woman claims Russell responded by forcibly raping her. The anonymous silence breaker marks the 14th woman to speak out against the entrepreneur. Regardless, Russell has vehemently denied the troubling allegations against him. He's even taken a polygraph to combat accusations made by model Keri Claussen Khalighi. As of right now, the NYPD is investigating at least SEVEN of the claims made by Simmons' alleged victims. Be sure to stay tuned for more details about this controversy. [Image via WENN.].....»»

And a few flat aca-puns. All your favorite stars return for the sequel, which shows Beca (Anna Kendrick), Chloe (Brittany Snow), Aubrey (Anna Camp) and Fat Amy (Rebel Wilson) reuniting with the Bellas for a post-college USO Tour... in the scenic French Riviera... that's also a battle of the bands... where the winner gets a record deal with DJ Khaled! Video: Anna Shows Off Her SPOT ON Kristen Stewart Impression! If the central competition isn't ridiculous enough, a random long lost dad-turned Bella kidnapping plot was the nail in the franchise's aca-coffin. Sure, the critics are still gonna miss these girls when they're gone -- but many agreed that should have been two films ago. Aca-ouch! Ch-ch-check out the review roundup for PP3 (below) and see the film in theaters this Friday! Frank Sheck, The Hollywood Reporter: "Franchise fatigue is evident throughout this mechanical enterprise, which squanders the good will engendered by the original 2012 sleeper hit and, to a lesser extent, its even more commercially successful 2015 sequel. Whatever charms the first two movies possessed (and they were considerable thanks to the talented and appealing cast) have been thoroughly lost in this soulless installment." Owen Gleiberman, Variety: "The new film doesn't add anything revolutionary to the Pitch Perfect formula. It still sounds like we're in middle-period Glee written by someone who finds Ryan Murphy too solemn. But as directed by Trish Sie, the movie is bubbly, it's fast, it's hella synthetic-clever, and it's an avid showcase for the personalities of its stars." Leah Greenblatt, Entertainment Weekly: "At a scant 93 minutes, PP3 is really more like an extended short than a movie anyway; one last daffy victory lap for the ladies who taught us how far friendship — and a franchise — can carry itself on hard work, matching halter tops, and a whole lot of mouth music." Dan Callahan, TheWrap: "[Rebel] Wilson's comic routines here set her apart from the others in the cast, and they more than amply hint that she should be set loose in her own vehicles far, far away from the other girls and all their Glee-like karaoke." Emily Yoshida, Vulture: "Pitch Perfect 3 struggles most when it tries to make us care about [Beca's] music career, and it tries a lot... Even more curious is the material given to Rebel Wilson's Fat Amy, who had become a full-on caricature in the last film and now is being asked to carry a long-lost-dad plot opposite John Lithgow. Neither seem to have any idea if their arc is supposed to be funny or not, nor do I." Alan Scherstuhl, The Village Voice: "The good news, I guess, is that Pitch Perfect 3, directed by Trish Sie (Step Up: All In), is not overtly racist in the manner of its predecessor. Instead, the non-white Bellas are just afterthoughts — is that an improvement? There's nothing like parity of screen time, but there is in memorableness." Simon Thompson, IGN Movies: "While this has a few laugh-out-loud moments, overall, this is an adequate farewell performance that too often falls flat and feels off-key." Maria Reinstein, US Weekly: "The Barden Bellas don't go out on a winning note. The movie is tone-deaf. The characters are off-Pitch. It's not over until Fat Amy sings, and she does! Pick any music pun, and the disappointing result is the same." [Image via Universal Pictures.].....»»

Keri says that the incident happened in 1991 after she went to dinner with both Russell and Brett Ratner, who was a music video director at the time. They went back to his apartment after dinner and she says Simmons began yanking off her clothes. “I looked over at Brett and said ‘help me’ and I’ll never forget the look on his face,” she told the Los Angeles Times. “In that moment, the realization fell on me that they were in it together.” Russell has already denied the claims to the LA Times and now he’s speaking out again in a lengthy statement to THR. Click inside to read what he said… “I also know from recent painful personal experience that some recollections can be cast in a light away from the actual facts,” Russell wrote. “In my case, three witnesses [Anthony McNair and two anonymous witnesses] have signed statements that our experiences that weekend with Keri Claussen Khalighi 26 years ago were consensual. My longtime loathing of any form of violence and abuse has been woven into all of my personal interactions, as most who know me will attest.” “In our meeting many years later, and subsequent conversations, Keri never accused me of what she has said publicly. She insisted I was not violent. She did tell me her boyfriend and many others found out about our long weekend together and she said she was ashamed by that discovery. I am sorry for the embarrassment she recounted to me,” he added. He also said, “As a yogi I believe intent is very important. My intent always came from a joyful, playful place. I can sleep at night because I know who I am. And I know who I was. I never committed any acts of aggression or violence in my life. I would never knowingly cause fear or harm to anyone. For any women from my past who I may have offended, I sincerely apologize. I am still evolving.”.....»»
