We [One Direction] would always play Washington on tour, and the Obamas would visit. They would come in these huge convoys with thick, bulletproof windows. I can’t imagine living like that, but they were lovely.” On what he misses most about Ireland: “The thing I miss most about home is Irish ignorance. My mum said to me yesterday, ‘The world we work in is not necessarily normal, and that’s why people are obsessed by celebrities.’ Back home, a lot of people don’t get the references of people I’ve met, or places I’ve been. The 32-year-old Aussie actor has previously been seen on The CW’s The Tomorrow People and ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Here are the 10 Fun Facts he shared with us: 1. I was a shy, skinny, pimply, nerdy kid in my late teens & early 20’s and I took part-time acting classes to get out of my comfort zone & build confidence. 2. When I was about five I had a Superman costume. One time I wore it and dove off the back of the couch to see if I could fly… Surprisingly, I couldn’t. And I hurt myself. I no longer have a superman costume. 3. My first week in my first lead role I got to swim with and ride a dolphin! One of the coolest experiences of my life. 4. I love bread! When I was a kid, I would go to the supermarket with my Mum and she would put a loaf of bread in the trolley and by the time we got to the checkout, I’d eaten the entire loaf except for the crusts and I would have to go back and get another loaf. 5. Before moving to New York for Blindspot, I used to have a weekly poker game at my place in LA with friends, including some of my Agents of SHIELD co-stars; Iain DeCaestecker, Nick Blood, J. August Richards, Brett Dalton and Simon Kassianides. Click inside for more of Luke Mitchell’s fun facts… 6. I wanted to be a professional tennis player before I got into acting. 7. I have three brothers and one sister. We all played tennis pretty competitively and now my older brother, Michael, is a tennis coach and my youngest brother, Ben, is a professional tennis player. 8. My second episode on Blindspot I broke a stunt guy’s nose during a fight scene. It was an accident and unfortunately it happens but I felt terrible. I ended up sending him a bunch of beer and some beer glasses to say sorry. 9. Virtually every job I’ve worked on in the US, I’ve had to do fight scenes. Two of those fight scenes have sent me to hospital. One time I got punched in the face during a fight scene in The Tomorrow People and had to get a few stitches above my right eye, and the other time, I severed a tendon in my right hand during a knife fight scene in Blindspot and had to have surgery. 10. I never did a chemistry test with Jaimie Alexander before getting the role of her brother, Roman, on Blindspot. But we just happen to get along great and naturally have this awesome brother/sister chemistry. And a healthy “sneak attack selfie” rivalry! That’s where you try to get a selfie with the other person but you gotta catch them by surprise ; ) BONUS FACT: Mario Kart is one of my all time favorite video games but I get VERY competitive : ) Catch new episodes of Blindspot on NBC on Friday nights at 8/7c......»»

The 25-year-old singer spilled while stopping by Music Choice on Tuesday (July 31) in New York City. “The writing process actually was easier for me…because you know I kinda just write about me and be very honest and very open…I mean when I wrote for One Direction I had to write a concept that matches for the four boys and to listeners as well,” Louis explained. He added, “Nice to just to be able to completely open up…it is more pressure because it is just my decisions, obviously I take opinions from other people…It is exciting…I like to be a as honest as possible in interviews and stuff like that and I am just try to put that into my music as much as possible. Aussie vlogger and Moana Bikini founder, Karina Irby, grew so sick of it, she finally decided to do something about it, and show followers exactly what goes into all those Photoshopped pics on Instagram! Related: Danica Patrick Talks Real Bodies On Social Media! In a post this week, the social media maven put up a side-by-side pic of "reality" vs "Instagram" with an inspirational message: LETS PLAY A GAME? 👹 It's called 🥁 REALITY VS INSTAGRAM Every morning I wake up and scroll though my personal Instagram feed and spy "Insta Girls" posting unrealistic images of themselves. The girls I follow that portray these images have big followings, often with hundreds of thousands of young girls looking up to them as a role models. As I scroll though the comments I find young girls tagging their friends "GOALS" and "OMG WHY DONT I LOOK LIKE THIS😭😭" The truth is these girls don't looks like this. They look like you, like everyone. I have gone ahead and copied the classic "Insta Girl Edit" in my second image and listed below is what I have done to it💅🏽 Full body skin smooth Enlarged my booty Sucked in my tummy Sucked in my back Thinned out my arms Thinned out my quads Made my neck a tad skinnier Got ride of my scars and cellulite Made my breast rounder Lifted my booty After all these little tweaks, can you notice how my horizon is warped? So many girls are so into how their Insta image is going to be portrayed that they don't even notice they have warped the background!? 🤦🏼‍♀️ Ladies, I'm not here to play mean girl towards others. I simply want to #inspire you to love yourself and stop comparing yourselves to unrealistic images online. Look out for the signs of the "Insta Girl Edit" and don't take social media too seriously. Let's get real❤️A post shared by KARINA IRBY (@karinairby) on Sep 4, 2017 at 4:22am PDT It's amazing to see body positivity get more spotlight on social media, especially when there are so many unrealistic goals being put out there. The swimsuit model also spoke out about it last month with another side-by-side all about perspective: Perspective VS reality🤓 This is me. Current day. I wanted to share this with you because I think it's important to stay true and real on social media. I can assure you the only difference in these two photos are the way I'm standing and wearing my bikini. We all know our angles and don't always share the images of us not looking our best. Therefore, sometimes we can share an unrealistic showcase of ourselves. Of course we all want to share photos of ourselves where we look good, great, our best! I know that I do. I'm sure that you do. It's just human nature. However, this nature of Social Media, and our usage of it, encourages unrealistic expectations. Everyone posts pictures of themselves on their best day, in their best angle, and everyone else feels that their everyday self isn't good enough, or doesn't match up, or can't compete. It's important to focus on yourself and your own goals instead of comparing yourself to others constantly. Run your own race and set your own goals, the only person you need to impress is you! ❤️❤️❤️ @MOANA_BIKINI @BIKINI.BODY.BURNA post shared by KARINA IRBY (@karinairby) on Aug 7, 2017 at 1:32pm PDT Are U all about her message? She spoke to the tabloid in 2011, before anyone cared and long before reportedly being paid $130K by Trump's crooked lawyer to keep her mouth shut. Related: Trump Compared Stormy To His Daughter... In the full account, the adult film actress says she can "definitely describe his junk perfectly" and drops details like names of others who were around and some cray shit you just could NOT make up! See the craziest tidbits from the interview (below)! Trump Thinks His Hair Gives Him Power Stormy: We were talking about all sorts of things. I remember he asked me like, "I gotta ask you a question and I don't want to get you offended" and I was like, "Trust me, you can't." I was expecting some sort of vulgar question and it wasn't; it was something about how much money I make off the royalties of something. And then I remember saying to him, "Ok well I have a question for you and it IS offensive." And I asked him about his hair. I was like, "Dude, what's up with that?" and he laughed and he said, "You know, everybody wants to give me a makeover and I've been offered all this money and all these free treatments." And I was like, "What is the deal? Don't you want to upgrade that? Come on, man." He said that he thought that if he cut his hair or changed it, that he would lose his power and his wealth. And I laughed hysterically at him. IT: What did he say? Stormy: He took it pretty well. He was like, "Yeah, yeah, my wife even did my son's hair like that, as a joke." I was like, "Yes, speaking of your wife…" IT: Did he mention her at all? Stormy: I mentioned her. I was like, "Yeah, what about your wife?" He goes, "Oh, don't worry about her." Quickly, quickly changed the subject. The Sex Was Boring But Not Terrible IT: Was the sex romantic? Stormy: It was textbook generic. It wasn't like, "Oh my God, I love you." He wasn't like Fabio or anything. He wasn't trying to have, like, porn sex. IT: Did he say anything to you during? Stormy: Nothing freaky. Like, "Oh yeah, that feels good. That's amazing." You know. It was one position, what you would expect someone his age to do. It wasn't bad. Don't get me wrong. Stormy: So anyway, the sex was nothing crazy. He wasn't like, chain me to the bed or anything. It was one position. I can definitely describe his junk perfectly, if I ever have to. He definitely seemed smitten after that. He was like, "I wanna see you again, when can I see you again?" Trump Apparently Didn't Use Protection While Cheating On His Wife... Ew IT: Did you use protection? Stormy: No. IT: Was that a conversation or was it kind of in the moment? Stormy: It was kind of in the moment. And I was really kind of upset about it because I am so, like, careful. The company I work for is condom-only. But I remember for a fact that we didn't because I'm allergic to latex. And I didn't go up there with condoms on me. I know that for a fact because 99% of men don't carry non-latex condoms on them, so I usually always have one in my backpack but I thought I was going to dinner, so I only had a tiny little cocktail purse. NFL Star Ben Roethlisberger Can Corroborate Part Of This Story Stormy: I ended up leaving and the next night I saw him again at a party. It was in the downstairs of the hotel I was in and he was hanging out with Ben Roethlisberger. When I got there, he was already with him. He had Keith, his bodyguard, call me and ask me if I was coming. When I got there, I called Keith and he told me where he was sitting and he brought me over. And he was hanging out with Ben for a long time. A couple other people around, nobody famous. Mostly people trying to hang on to them. Ben had just won the Super Bowl that year. Donald excused himself. He had to leave, I don't remember why, and he made Ben promise to take care of me. I stayed another 15-20 minutes and Ben Roethlisberger actually walked me up to my room that night because Donald told him to. Yeah, he walked me all the way to my hotel room. Trump Called Her A Lot -- And He Called Her "Honeybunch" Stormy: He always called me from a blocked number. He gave me — of course I had Keith, his bodyguard's number — he gave me his secretary's number, Rhona, which is his direct office line. Note: This checks out. Keith Schiller was Trump's bodyguard turned Oval Office Operations manager, and Rhona Graff was Trump's longtime secretary, and is still described as a sort of backdoor conduit for people who want to get in touch with the President. Stormy: Anytime I needed to get ahold of him, he always took my call or called me back within 10 minutes if he was on another call or wasn't there. I think she would call him and he would call me back from his cell if he wasn't in his office. The number was always blocked. He called me about every 10 days. He always called me "honeybunch." He's like, "How's it going, honeybunch?" He always started the conversation off, I think it was always his excuse to call, "I just read about you in such and such or there's a quote about you in magazine, I turned on my channel in my hotel room and guess whose face popped up?" Just like anytime he saw or read about me somewhere. I was super busy at the time. I've taken a year off because I had a baby, but I was everywhere at the time. That's when I did and was doing red carpets so there was pictures of me like all the time. That was always sort of his excuse to call: "Hey, did you know that you were on such and such? We need to get together to talk about your thing." Stormy Was Cheating Too Stormy: Anytime I called, he would call — it was funny if like my assistant or my boyfriend, who is now my ex-husband, he was my boyfriend at the time, was with me, I would always have him on speakerphone. I mean, it's Donald Trump. IT: Were you with your boyfriend when you slept with Donald Trump? Stormy: Yeah. IT: Did he know about the situation? Stormy: He didn't know that detail but he knew everything else. He called me all the time. Trump Has A Shark Phobia Stormy (describing her last encounter with Trump in Beverly Hills): We had dinner once again in his room. I had swordfish that time. Once again, no alcohol. The strangest thing about that night — this was the best thing ever. You could see the television from the little dining room table and he was watching Shark Week and he was watching a special about the U.S.S. something and it sank and it was like the worst shark attack in history. He is obsessed with sharks. Terrified of sharks. He was like, "I donate to all these charities and I would never donate to any charity that helps sharks. I hope all the sharks die." He was like riveted. He was like obsessed. It's so strange, I know. IT: So it's just you and him in the bungalow? Stormy: Yeah. But isn't that weird? So strange. So we finished dinner and we moved to the sofa so he could get a better view of Shark Week. Weirdly, that checks out too. Just check out these tweets from early July (aka, Shark Week) two years after she gave the interview: Sharks are last on my list - other than perhaps the losers and haters of the World! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 4, 2013 Sorry folks, I'm just not a fan of sharks - and don't worry, they will be around long after we are gone. — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 4, 2013 The Affair Ended When Stormy Got Pregnant Stormy: Like I said, he always called from a blocked number and for the last year and a half I honestly don't know if he's called me or not because when I got pregnant with my daughter, I completely stopped taking calls that I didn't know. My fans don't know I had a baby. I left LA and lived in Vegas and basically hid out. I just really stopped taking calls from blocked numbers, numbers that I didn't know. I even stopped answering people that I did know, like other celebrities that I'm friends with that would just want to hang out or go out in Hollywood. Trump Lied To Stormy About Getting Her On Celebrity Apprentice The biggest thread throughout, and the subject Stormy says Trump talked to her about the most, was the lie that he would "100%" get her on Celebrity Apprentice: Stormy: And then he goes — I might be out of order with the conversation because it was so long ago. But he was like, "You know what? You're really smart. You're not dumb." And I was like, "Thanks, d---. What does that mean?" And he goes, "You should be on." And I was like, "Really? No, I don't think so." And he just kept thinking about it, I could see his little wheels turning. He goes, "No, it would be really, really good for you. People would think you're just this idiot with blond hair and big boobs. You would be perfect for it because you're such a smart businesswoman. You write and you direct and you produce and obviously you're hot and you're beautiful." And I was like, "Well, it's never going to happen. NBC is never going to let a porn star on." And he was like, "I can make it happen." And I was like, "You can't. I dare you." I was totally egging him on. And that was kind of like the thing, he was like, "No, we have to work on this for you." And that was sort of what he tried to bait me with for an entire year. He was like, "We have to get together to talk about your appearance on." But he was serious. I think when it hit him in the moment, he was like, "Yeah, this is going to be really good." And it could have. Of course, it would have been sensational. He just kept pushing for it, pushing for it. And he was like, "Would you do it?" I was like, "You know what, I'm not going to waste my energy on thinking about it, but if you actually have the power to make it happen, then I'll do it." IT: Did he promise you that? Stormy: Yeah, absolutely. He told me that he got a wild-card choice. That he could push one person through at will. IT: And he said it was going to be you? Stormy: Absolutely. 100% he promised me. Stormy: That's when he broke the news to me that it almost went through but there's somebody that had a problem and it got vetoed and blah blah blah. I was like, "I told you, you couldn't make it happen." I was pretty annoyed. IT: How do you feel about all this — the broken promises? What's your take? Stormy: I don't really know. I don't have any animosity or whatever. IT: Do you feel like a fool for believing him about? Stormy: No. I wasn't like going around telling everybody, "Oh my God, I'm going to be on." It's not like I bought into it 100%. I was challenging him to make it happen. I figured my shot was 50-50 even though he swore up and down it was 100. It's not just him. I never really get my hopes up on big stuff like that. Stormy says she decided to speak to the press after hearing about Trump hypocritically badmouthing the adult industry: Stormy: He went on some tirade how he would never be associated with someone…blah blah blah. But clearly I do a lot more than just pose for. So that just makes me wonder if he was just flat-out lying the whole time. I didn't have any unrealistic expectations of actually being on the show; I figured my chances were 50-50, I did believe that he was shy. So now I wonder if the whole thing was just a f---ing lie. IT: Just to impress you, to try to sleep with you? Stormy: Yeah. And I guess it worked. BTW -- don't feel too bad for Stormy. According to TMZ, her affair with Trump might end up making her some more money -- at her latest dancing gig. Apparently The Trophy Club in Greenville, South Carolina is using it to advertise! We guess you can't hold strip clubs to confidentiality agreements... [Image via MySpace.].....»»

Academy Award Nominations Inclusive!

The Academy Award nominations are out, and unless your thing is having a fifteen-dollar beer at an indie theater surrounded by twenty-year-olds decked in ironic aviator glasses and head-to-toe ironic Carhartt, the list of noms might look like a random collection of words that when deciphered spell out “The worst thing ever.” I don’t know what Ebbing, Missouri is, and I don’t want to. While #OscarsSoWhite is yesteryear’s moral conundrum in the industry and this year it all about #OscarsSoRapey, the Academy members aren’t about to have a plain yogurt repeat of 2015 and 2016, when all the major nominees were white. Most notably this year the popcorn flick Get Out is nominated under four categories – Best Actor for Daniel Kaluuya, Best Director and Best Original Screenplay for Jordan Peele, and Best Picture. By the laws of logic any movie with Allison Williams shouldn’t be nominated for anything ever or seen by anybody ever or even get made in the first place. so that alone means that something’s fishy. I saw Get Out in the theater and, as a Chicagoan who has friends with horrible ideas as to what constitutes as fun, actually attended the recording of NPR’s Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me during which Jordan Peele called in and talked about Get Out. I took a bunch of drugs beforehand so don’t cry for me too much. But do a little. Because it was horrible.     My point is that I’m in deep enough to say that while Get Out was a fun watch, it was more a mid-tier Black Mirror concept (white people fetishizing black people to the extreme of inhabiting their bodies through surgery) then a movie intended to live on in Oscars infamy, and I can’t help but think even Peele himself feels this way deep down. Get Out was released in February – one of the classic dump months for flicks – and again, he cast Williams. Allison Williams. I mean, come the hell on. It’d be more compelling if someone just dragged Brunette Barbie around set Robot Chicken-style. Academy members are wiping the sweat from their brows knowing that they were able to eke in a movie about black issues, instead of creating an actual Oscar contender. Get Out’s headline-grabbing surprise nominations assuage #OscarsSoWhite guilt, but at the end of the day it’s a red herring, allowing people to celebrate walking ultra white paint chip Greta Gerwig while feeling that they hit inclusivity out of the damn park. If it wasn’t for the release of Get Out, the Oscars would have worked their way all the way down to The Carmichael Show if they had to. I wish I worked in Hollywood. Preaching about environmentalism while chartering private jets? Condemning an alleged sexual assailant post reaping the benefits of working with one? Celebrating racial inclusivity on a technicality rather than fostering the creation of actual Oscar-worthy inclusive movies? The morality Fast Pass reserved for the rich and famous. The 29-year-old Aussie actor is best known for his work in the movie Chronicle and he can currently be seen on the big screen in Only the Brave. Alex is also starring in the new CBS drama S.W.A.T. alongside Shemar Moore, which premiered this week. Catch new episodes on Thursdays at 10/9c! Here are 10 Fun Facts that Alex shared with us: 1. I love singing… classical, musical theatre (My earliest acting experiences were actually musicals), jazz and so forth. I also enjoy tap dancing. 2. I love skateboarding and consider it an art form. 3. I love rap and enjoy free-styling (though whether or not my free style rap is good varies from effort to effort). 4. I can stretch my lips completely around the rim of a beer glass – my party trick. **Insert wisecrack here** 5. I have a keloid scar in the shape of a smiley on my arm given to me by my friend Kent Rowe using the scalding metal tip of a cigarette lighter in art class when I was sixteen. … Proud parents. Click inside to read the rest of the fun facts… 6. I was a fat kid. 7. I was bullied as a kid (often for being fat or some derivation thereof). 8. When I was a toddler, if ever I wanted someone to carry me I would stand in front of them and say, “carry you, carry you!” My Nanna – my Mum’s Mother, the brilliant Joyce O’Driscoll, once told me I couldn’t come to the shops because she would not carry me. “I’ll walk, Nanna, I’ll walk!” “You will not!” “I will, I’ll walk!” “Alright.” We got across the street and not much farther than that. “Carry YOU, Nanna! Carry YOU!” She made me walk. I’ve sometimes wondered if I was merely offering to actually carry my Nanna, despite being a tiny child all of three or so and if I didn’t have my words mixed around at all! 9. When I was twenty-one and standing on the sidewalk in the Sydney central business district, I found myself in hot pursuit of a thief. With a mild awareness of the midnight launching of a new video game across the street, I suddenly heard fast footsteps and someone calling out something to do with them being robbed. I took off after him, rounded a corner and caught up to him. As he was backing away from me, he broke the game in his hands (I was told later, by some technicality, this made it harder to prove he was guilty). He swung at me and connected. I bear hugged him and used all my weight to get him to the ground, calling out for help. He then bit me. Nearby civilians came to help me keep him there while the police were called. One man who came to my aid was an American police officer on vacation! We held him there. After a while, while trying to escape, he head-butted me. Not cool. He was taken into custody. I didn’t press charges. I had just finished drama school and had the most important agency meeting of all the following morning. I showed up with a gigantic black eye and a bite mark on my forearm. The agency and I decided to work together. I then got a tetanus shot. 10. When I was about fourteen, at musical practice in high school, some older students saw me playing with a hula hoop and dubbed me “R.G.” which stood for “rhythmic gymnast.” This became my nickname in high school for years along with its successor “taf-karg” “T.A.F.K.A.R.G.”.....»»

The 27-year-old actress opens up in the latest issue of Stellar magazine. Here’s what she shared: On being a producer on I, Tonya: “I have never been so nervous for people to see a movie in my entire life. We go all out in this movie. So, are people going to get it? Are they going to respond to it? I mean, is the public going to hate it and the critics love it, or the other way around? Or are they all going to hate it and no-one loves it? The weight has never been on my shoulders in this way. It’s always been shared around. And to be
a producer on this [means] I can’t blame anyone else if people don’t like it. I can’t say, ‘The filmmakers made some bad choices!’ Because, well, I was a part of all those choices. If this sucks, it’s my fault in large part.” On returning to Australia: “Next year’s goal is to be filming something back home in Australia. That’s our goal. We have got a lot of good things in development, amazing Aussie writers and Aussie directors, and that’s what I am most excited about for 2018: coming home.” For more from Margot, visit StellarMag.com.au......»»

Everybody grows up; two of the guys have got kids now. But no, I don't talk to any of them, really." Mmhm. Oh, and we're still talking about that Taylor Swift collaboration for the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack, as Zayn commented: "I felt like she was the right artist for the song. And of course she's also a massive artist, so that brings its benefits. I get to let her fans know that I'm doing this kind of music, and she lets her fans know she likes my kind of music — there's no opposition, for real." Sweet. [Image via Billboard.].....»»
