Sadly, now we're hearing one from Lupita Nyong'o. Related: All 45+ Women Who Have Accused Harvey Weinstein So Far The Black Panther actress opened up in a lengthy New York Times op-ed on Thursday, in which she says she felt "a flare of rage" in learning how many women had been through what she had: "I had shelved my experience with Harvey far in the recesses of my mind, joining in the conspiracy of silence that has allowed this predator to prowl for so many years. I had felt very much alone when these things happened, and I had blamed myself for a lot of it, quite like many of the other women who have shared their stories. But now that this is being discussed openly, I have not been able to avoid the memories resurfacing. I have felt sick in the pit of my stomach." Here is her story: "I met Harvey Weinstein in 2011 at an awards ceremony in Berlin, while I was still a student at the Yale School of Drama. An intermediary introduced him to me as "the most powerful producer in Hollywood." As an aspiring actress, I was of course eager to meet people in the industry but cautious about strangers, and the intentions of men in general." She asked her dinner companions about Harvey and was given the typical response that he could be "a bully" -- which meant it was better to have him in her corner than against her. Ultimately she says he was somewhat "charming" despite his directness, and that "he didn't alarm" her at first. So when he invited her to watch a screening of a film with his family at his home in Connecticut -- near where she was living in New Haven -- she accepted. Related: Channing Tatum Cuts All Ties With The Weinstein Company His family was actually there, at least. But when they all gathered to watch the film, that's when Harvey pounced: "I settled in for the film, but about 15 minutes in, Harvey came for me, saying he wanted to show me something. I protested that I wanted to finish the film first, but he insisted I go with him, laying down the law as though I too was one of his children." In his home with his children there. Ick. "Harvey led me into a bedroom — his bedroom — and announced that he wanted to give me a massage. I thought he was joking at first. He was not. For the first time since I met him, I felt unsafe. I panicked a little and thought quickly to offer to give him one instead: It would allow me to be in control physically, to know exactly where his hands were at all times... He agreed to this and lay on the bed. I began to massage his back to buy myself time to figure out how to extricate myself from this undesirable situation. Before long he said he wanted to take off his pants. I told him not to do that and informed him that it would make me extremely uncomfortable. He got up anyway to do so and I headed for the door, saying that I was not at all comfortable with that. 'If we're not going to watch the film, I really should head back to school,' I said. I opened the door and stood by the frame. He put his shirt on and again mentioned how stubborn I was. I agreed with an easy laugh, trying to get myself out of the situation safely. I was after all on his premises, and the members of his household, the potential witnesses, were all (strategically, it seems to me now) in a soundproof room." That time, Lupita was able to leave somewhat easily enough. She says she even justified the massage request to herself, though it helped that Harvey had enticed her with the possibility of a job (on an HBO show she later found out was already off the air). But she was still uneasy with Harvey, so when he invited her to a reading of the play version of Finding Neverland, she politely refused -- until he told her she could bring anyone she wanted. She attended with two male friends. Related: Quentin Tarantino Knew Harvey 'Did A Couple Of These Things'! Nothing untoward happened the entire evening, including when a large group went out for dinner and drinks. So the next time he invited her to a screening -- this time of Madonna's film W.E. -- she accepted. "Feeling more confident about the new sense of boundaries that we had established in our last meeting, I attended the screening on my own this time. Afterward, as planned, his male assistant arranged for me to get to the Tribeca Grill, where Harvey would be joining us. I met a female assistant when I arrived there. I was expecting that it would be a group of us, as it had been for the reading, but she informed me it would just be Mr. Weinstein. She would sit with me until he arrived. She seemed on edge, but I could only imagine how stressful it was to work for a man who had so much going on." As with other stories we've heard, the assistant "immediately disappeared" after Harvey arrived. And this time he was direct: "Before the starters arrived, he announced: 'Let's cut to the chase. I have a private room upstairs where we can have the rest of our meal.' I was stunned. I told him I preferred to eat in the restaurant. He told me not to be so naïve. If I wanted to be an actress, then I had to be willing to do this sort of thing. He said he had dated Famous Actress X and Y and look where that had gotten them. I was silent for a while before I mustered up the courage to politely decline his offer. 'You have no idea what you are passing up,' he said. 'With all due respect, I would not be able to sleep at night if I did what you are asking, so I must pass,' I replied." That's when Lupita knew Harvey was through with her; she asked him if they were good and recalls his chilling response: "'I don't know about your career, but you'll be fine,' he said. It felt like both a threat and a reassurance at the same time; of what, I couldn't be sure." Lupita made a vow to herself never to work with Weinstein, a vow she kept when he tried to entice her following her Oscar win for 12 Years A Slave. Related: LAPD Opens Harvey Weinstein Rape Investigation She explains why she's telling her story now -- for all the women who are like she was: "I share all of this now because I know now what I did not know then. I was part of a growing community of women who were secretly dealing with harassment by Harvey Weinstein. But I also did not know that there was a world in which anybody would care about my experience with him. You see, I was entering into a community that Harvey Weinstein had been in, and even shaped, long before I got there. He was one of the first people I met in the industry, and he told me, "This is the way it is." And wherever I looked, everyone seemed to be bracing themselves and dealing with him, unchallenged. I did not know that things could change. I did not know that anybody wanted things to change. So my survival plan was to avoid Harvey and men like him at all costs, and I did not know that I had allies in this." She concludes: "Now that we are speaking, let us never shut up about this kind of thing. I speak up to make certain that this is not the kind of misconduct that deserves a second chance. I speak up to contribute to the end of the conspiracy of silence. Amen, sister. You can read her full op-ed HERE. [Image via Apega/Michael Wright/WENN.].....»»

Nearly four months after that awkward interview on Megyn Kelly Today, Jane Fonda can't seem to stop bringing up the talk show host's question about plastic surgery... even calling her "not that good of an interviewer" in a recent interview with Variety! Eep. Now, Megyn has decided to catch Fonda's shade and throw it right back to her. Related: Megyn Kelly Today Staffer Axed After Complaining! The 47-year-old journalist said at the top of today's show: "Now a word on Jane Fonda who appears to be fixated on an exchange I had with her months ago on this show. When she first complained publicly after the program and repeatedly, I chose to say nothing as my general philosophy is what other people think of me is none of my business. However, Fonda was at it again last week including here on NBC and then again elsewhere, so it's time to address the 'poor me' routine." She went on to justify her question about the work the Oscar winner has had done, as the 80-year-old has often discussed going under the knife and was even promoting a movie about aging at the time: "First, some context. Fonda was on to promote a film about aging. For years she has spoken openly about her joy in giving a cultural face to older women. Well, the truth is most older women look nothing like Fonda, who is now 80 and if Fonda really wants to have an honest discussion about older women's cultural face, then her plastic surgery is tough to ignore. Fonda herself knows this. She knows this and that is why, to her credit, she has discussed her cosmetic surgery pretty much everywhere before coming on our show." Kelly continued: "Apparently, when she came here, however, again to promote her film about aging, I was supposed to discern that this subject was suddenly off-limits. Look, I gave her the chance to empower other women, young and old, on a subject which she purports to know well and she rejected it. That's ok, but I have no regrets about that question, nor am I in the market for a lesson from Jane Fonda on what is and is not appropriate. After all, this is a woman whose name is synonymous with outrage." The TV personality then dug into the archives to bring up Fonda's controversial Vietnam War history: "Look at her treatment of our military during the Vietnam war. Many of our veterans still call her Hanoi Jane thanks to her radio broadcasts, which attempted to shame American troops. She posed on an anti-aircraft gun used to shoot down our American pilots. She called our POWs hypocrites and liars and referred to their torture as understandable. Even she had to apologize years later for that gun picture, but not for the rest of it ... By the way—she says she is not proud of America. So, the moral indignation is a little much. She put her plastic surgery out there. She said she wanted to discuss the plight of older women in America and honestly she has no business lecturing anyone on what qualifies as offensive." The teaaa! Watch her full monologue (below)! Robert Rodriguez Says He Cast Rose McGowan In Grindhouse To SPITE Harvey Weinstein — And The Movie Got "Buried" Because Of Her!

We've heard lots of stories over the past couple weeks from women Harvey Weinstein scared into silence. But what would have happened if they fought back? But what would have happened if they fought back? Video: Rose McGowan's Powerful Speech At The Detroit Women's Convention According to Robert Rodriguez, he did try to help Rose McGowan beat Harvey's "blacklisting" of her -- by casting her in his Weinstein Company-funded film Grindhouse. In fact, in an official essay for Variety, he reveals the plot of his half of the throwback double feature with Quentin Tarantino was inspired by her story, something he could never talk about before: "I have not previously discussed what I knew about the 1997 incident that Rose suffered in a hotel room during the Sundance Film Festival. I never wanted to do anything that jeopardized a legal settlement she entered into with Harvey Weinstein. Now that she's able to tell her story, I want to provide an account of what I knew, when I knew it, and what I did about it." Rodriguez says he first learned of her "blacklisting" at Cannes in 2005, when she explained to him why she hadn't auditioned for Sin City. She told him the whole story of the assault -- and the subsequent legal action: "Rose told me that all she could do at the time was to get Harvey Weinstein to donate money to an abused women's shelter and in return she had to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) that forbade her from talking about the horrific violation without being sued, and that she shouldn't even be telling me. To add insult to injury, she told me that she was blacklisted from even auditioning for any Weinstein movies." That's when the director got PISSED -- and decided to go renegade: "I then revealed to Rose right then and there that I was about to start writing a movie with Quentin Tarantino, a double feature throwback to 70's exploitation movies, and that if she was interested, I would write her a BAD ASS character and make her one of the leads. I wanted her to have a starring role in a big movie to take her OFF the blacklist, and the best part is that we would have Harvey's new Weinstein Company pay for the whole damn thing." But they got to throw it in Harvey's face sooner than they were expecting: "Just as I finished telling Rose this, I saw Harvey walking around the party! I called Harvey over to our table, and as soon as he got close enough to see that I was sitting with Rose, his face dropped and went ghostly white. I said, "Hey Harvey, this is Rose McGowan. I think she's amazing and really talented and I'm going to cast her in my next movie." Harvey then dribbled all over himself in the most over the top performance I'd ever seen as he gushed, "Oh she's wonderful, oh she's amazing, oh she's fantastic, oh she's so talented… You two should definitely work together." And then he skittered off. I knew right then that every word Rose told me was true, you could see it all over his face." They made the film, a star-studded, strangely meta movie that played like two '70s B movies, complete with fake trailers for other movies made by friends like Eli Roth and Edgar Wright. It was crazy and long and ahead of its time -- and Rose is spectacular in it. Unfortunately it completely tanked at the box office. Rodriguez still believes Harvey's vendetta against Rose is what kept the movie from even being given a fighting chance with a proper ad campaign, etc. He explains: "But because of the NDA Rose told me she had signed, at Rose's request I had to keep it quiet from everyone until now as to why we were even making that film together, especially Harvey. We knew that strategically we couldn't rub it in his face why we were REALLY doing this movie, because then he'd just bury the movie, not sell it well, and everyone would lose. To our horror, Harvey buried our movie anyway, and because we did not want to risk getting sued, we never spoke publicly about the matter... I am still haunted and disillusioned that after all the good intentions, immense pain and struggle Rose and I and so many talented people went through to make the film, that Harvey Weinstein won in the end by burying the movie just because Rose was the lead actress." Robert wishes they could have spoken about the inspiration of the film, the fight behind the scenes before now. And he hopes this new conversation will change things in Hollywood and other businesses: "It's been really difficult to admit and come to terms that the NDA handcuffs forced us to needlessly jump through hoops that today would have been unnecessary because of Rose's fearlessness to speak out, despite the consequences. I hope that new legislation will result in NDAs to be legally null and void in situations where rape and assault have been committed and where power is so unequally distributed." Hear, hear! "Looking back over the years, I have wondered if I would have made the same choices, knowing the bleak outcome. We all suffered greatly on the film, and the journey ended up costing us all more than we ever bargained for. For me personally, it cost me my marriage of 16 years, my family, a large dose of sanity, and for years I have grappled with the sobering idea that maybe I made a grave error in standing up at all, when no one was even asking me to." OK, we have to stop right there -- was it really the movie failing at the box office that cost you your marriage, Robert? Or did dating your star do it? In case you didn't know, Robert and Rose went public with their relationship when the movie came out -- immediately after news of his split with his wife, Elizabeth Avellan, hit. Photos: 10 Movies That Ruined Celebrity Relationships Not the point, we know, but gotta be honest here. Anyway, go on: "I know that's not the message I'd ever want to send out, but it's been hard to justify something that now is clear was a lose/lose situation from the get-go, and that in the end failed and simply caused more damage. The reason I'm saying this is because it's very clear to me now that when someone does what Harvey Weinstein did, the devastation goes far beyond predator and victim. These past few weeks have given me new clarity and hope by seeing the tide finally turn, seeing Harvey finally on the run, and seeing all the brave women who have come forth with their own shocking and distressing stories of abuse. Since I've seen a distinct lack of stories coming from men who may have tried to do the right thing, I wanted to come forth to say that no matter the consequences, no matter how far you have to stick your neck out, no matter what you have to lose, that we must fight the good fight. Everyone has to make a stand and take action." Damn right they do! Because two against the world isn't enough. This fight needs to be ALL of us against them. [Image via Z. In this new New Yorker piece, two actresses who had previously remained silent finally came out with their own harrowing stories. First was Annabella Sciorra, the star of early '90s hits Jungle Fever and The Hand That Rocks The Cradle who is probably best known for her Emmy-nominated recurring role as Gloria Trillo on The Sopranos. Related: Kevin Spacey Accused Of Assaulting News Anchor's Loved One Farrow says he approached Sciorra for the first article based on what some sources had told him, but she denied anything had happened. Even twenty-five years later she was still terrified of what he would do. But after the article came out and all the subsequent allegations, she knew she had to come forward with the truth -- Harvey had raped her. After starring in The Night We Never Met for Miramax, Sciorra says she was always at events and screenings for the studio. Then one dinner changed everything: "Harvey was there, and I got up to leave. And Harvey said, 'Oh, I'll drop you off.' Harvey had dropped me off before, so I didn't really expect anything out of the ordinary—I expected just to be dropped off." But after she went up to her apartment and got ready for bed, she heard a knock on the door. "It wasn't that late. Like, it wasn't the middle of the night, so I opened the door a crack to see who it was. And he pushed the door open. [Harvey] walked in like it was his apartment, like he owned the place, and started unbuttoning his shirt. So it was very clear where he thought this was going to go. And I was in a nightgown. I didn't have much on." She says he looked around to double check no one else was there as he got undressed and then cornered her, saying: "'Come here, come on, cut it out, what are you doing, come here.'" She told him: "'This is not happening. You've got to go. You have to leave. Get out of my apartment.'" But he didn't leave. "He shoved me onto the bed, and he got on top of me. I kicked and I yelled." Sciorra says he held her arms above her head with one hand and forcibly had sexual intercourse with her. "When he was done, he ejaculated on my leg, and on my nightgown." She remembered the nightgown specifically as it was a family heirloom from Italy. "He said, ‘I have impeccable timing,' and then he said, ‘This is for you.' And then he attempted to perform oral sex on me. And I struggled, but I had very little strength left in me." She says her body just began to shake violently: "I think, in a way, that's what made him leave, because it looked like I was having a seizure or something." Sciorra says she didn't tell anyone because she was so ashamed. But Harvey retaliated against her anyway: "From 1992, I didn't work again until 1995. I just kept getting this pushback of ‘We heard you were difficult; we heard this or that.' I think that that was the Harvey machine." Then when she did start working again, Harvey found her immediately. Related: Corey Feldman Tells Megyn Kelly That One Of His Abusers Now Works With The LA Dodgers! While she was filming The Innocent Sleep in London, Harvey called and sent cars to pick her up -- once even showing up himself and pounding on her door. "For nights after, I couldn't sleep. I piled furniture in front of the door, like in the movies." She says she got young producer Matthew Vaughn to secretly move her to another hotel. Vaughn (who went on to direct the Kingsman films) confirmed as much. In 1997, Sciorra starred in Copland, which Miramax produced. She went with the film to Cannes, where she was told her room was next door to Harvey's. Early one morning, there was a knock, and in her sleepy state she thought she must have missed an appointment and opened the door: "There's Harvey in his underwear, holding a bottle of baby oil in one hand and a tape, a movie, in the other. And it was horrific, because I'd been there before." She retreated into the room and thought fast: "He was closing in really quickly, and I pressed all the call buttons for valet service and room service. I kept pressing all of them until someone showed up." Thankfully staff showed up, causing Harvey to run back to his room. Related: All 50+ Women Who Have Accused Harvey Weinstein So Far Daryl Hannah also revealed her story, and sadly not for the first time. She met Harvey in the early 2000s at Cannes, where he told her he was a big fan and asked for her room number so he could call her for a meeting. That night he came knocking, then "pounding" on her door. She slipped out her balcony door -- she was on the first floor -- and spent the night in her makeup artist's room. The next night, her makeup artist stayed with her, and Harvey returned: "We actually pushed a dresser in front of the door and just kind of huddled in the room." Years later, while at the Rome premiere of Kill Bill, Vol. 2, Hannah experienced another sequel -- only this time both she and Harvey came prepared. Rather than knocking, the studio exec just barged right into her room: "He had a key. He came through the living room and into the bedroom. He just burst in like a raging bull. And I know with every fibre of my being that if my male makeup artist was not in that room, things would not have gone well. It was scary." Thankfully Hannah had prudently asked makeup artist Steeve Daviault to stay with her and watch movies all night just in case. Daviault confirmed the story to Farrow also. Hannah says she asked Harvey what he was doing, and he told her there was a party downstairs she was supposed to be at. She was wary but didn't want to be unprofessional. She got dressed and went downstairs only to find the dining room "completely empty." When she tried to return to her room, Harvey was blocking the elevator. He said to her: "Are your tits real?" Then he asked if he could feel them. "I said, ‘No, you can't!' And then he said, ‘At least flash me, then.' And I said, ‘Fuck off, Harvey.'" She says she got away but experienced "instant repercussions" -- her flight to Cannes and her hotel room were canceled, as were those of her makeup artist. Hannah says she told "all the powers that be" what had happened, including her manager, a producer, and, yes, Quentin Tarantino. Related: Quentin KNEW Harvey Weinstein 'Did A Couple Of These Things' Unfortunately, no one did anything: "And it didn't matter. I think that it doesn't matter if you're a well-known actress, it doesn't matter if you're twenty or if you're forty, it doesn't matter if you report or if you don't, because we are not believed. We are more than not believed—we are berated and criticized and blamed." Sciorra agrees. She told Farrow this victim blaming was the final straw in coming forward. After she saw how Asia Argento was being treated in the Italian press, she was incensed -- especially when commentators were asking if Asia's experience even "qualified" as rape. She says she thought to herself: "O.K., you want rape? Here's fucking rape." Sciorra has a message for those who think she or other actresses would make something like this up for publicity: "Now when I go to a restaurant or to an event, people are going to know that this happened to me. They're gonna look at me and they're gonna know. I'm an intensely private person, and this is the most unprivate thing you can do." When we see her, we're going to think about her courage. During an interview with CNN’s Christianne Amanpour, Jane spoke out about the allegations. “I’m glad it’s coming out. I’m so proud of those fellow actors that are speaking up and I know that it’s taken a long time,” she said. “You don’t get anything out of it, as the person who has been victimized. But it’s important that it come out…this goes on all the time.” Jane revealed that she knew about Harvey from her friend Rosanna Arquette (who recently came out with her story), but didn’t say anything: “I found out about Harvey about a year ago and I’m ashamed that I didn’t say anything right then…I only met Harvey when I was old and Harvey goes for young because that’s more vulnerable.” She went on to describe the culture of sexual harassment on a broader scale in society – and even brought up the President of the United States while making her point. “I mean Donald Trump is — we have a man who is president who does these things. And what kind of a message does that say? Unfortunately, that counteracts a lot of the good that we’re doing. Because a lot of men see, well, our president does it and he got elected, even after people discovered that he was an abuser so I’m just going to go ahead and do what I want to do.” Watch part of Jane‘s interview below......»»

Quentin Tarantino KNEW Harvey Weinstein "Did A Couple Of These Things" — Read His Confession In Frank New Interview!

Quentin Tarantino knew way too much about the exploits of Harvey Weinstein to sit by and do nothing. And now he's finally, publicly acknowledging that hard truth. And now he's finally, publicly acknowledging that hard truth. Related: All 45+ Women Who Have Accused Harvey Weinstein So Far In a very confessional interview with The New York Times out on Thursday, the Django Unchained director declares: "Everyone who was close to Harvey had heard of at least one of those incidents. It was impossible they didn't." As for himself, he addresses a few of the incidents involving well-known actresses, including the fact Harvey had reached a settlement with Rose McGowan over her alleged rape way back in 1997. Quentin admits: "I knew enough to do more than I did... There was more to it than just the normal rumors, the normal gossip. It wasn't secondhand. I knew he did a couple of these things." He says his inaction now fills him with shame and remorse: "I wish I had taken responsibility for what I heard. If I had done the work I should have done then, I would have had to not work with him." That would have been a start. Related: LAPD Opens Harvey Weinstein Rape Investigation So why didn't he? He begins to explain: "What I did was marginalize the incidents." Though he already realizes: "Anything I say now will sound like a crappy excuse." Yep. Specifically, Quentin addresses the incident he was most familiar with, Harvey's unwanted advances toward Mira Sorvino. The director heard all about it directly from the Mighty Aphrodite star when the two dated shortly after. When she relayed the story she would wait over 20 years to tell publicly as part of Ronan Farrow's New Yorker exposé, Quentin says he didn't understand it as a pattern of a predator but as an isolated incident: "I was shocked and appalled... I couldn't believe he would do that so openly. I was like: ‘Really? Really?' But the thing I thought then, at the time, was that he was particularly hung up on Mira... I thought Harvey was hung up on her in this Svengali kind of way. Because he was infatuated with her, he horribly crossed the line." Quentin ultimately brushed off even what he knew was "crossing the line" because his attitude at the time was that his own presence in the situation would put a stop to it. He recalls thinking: "I'm with her, he knows that, he won't mess with her, he knows that she's my girlfriend." Weinstein didn't go after Mira again, so that seemed to be that. Though obviously it wasn't. Related: France's Got Talent Judge Accused Of Sexual Misconduct Against NINE Women, Including A 14-Year-Old! Tarantino says he heard other stories through the grapevine over the years but admits they didn't weigh on him either: "I chalked it up to a '50s-'60s era image of a boss chasing a secretary around the desk. As if that's O.K. That's the egg on my face right now." After taking some time to come to terms with his own complicity, Quentin says he now believes Hollywood has been "operating under an almost Jim Crow-like system that us males have almost tolerated": "We allowed it to exist because that's the way it was." Now Quentin says he's through keeping his eyes and mouth shut -- and hopes his colleagues will do likewise: "I'm calling on the other guys who knew more to not be scared. Don't just give out statements. Acknowledge that there was something rotten in Denmark. Vow to do better by our sisters." Ultimately, Tarantino, who worked with Weinstein for decades, says he is still perplexed by all the things he's read about the man he thought he knew: "I don't have an answer for why he could do this and be stripped of his entire legacy." As for whether he believes the public will forever link him and his film legacy to Harvey's misdeeds, he says simply: "I don't know. I hope it doesn't." Toronto Actress Launches Lawsuit Against Harvey Weinstein — As Well As DISNEY!

Looks like Harvey Weinstein has dragged Disney into his drama. This week, it was revealed that an anonymous Toronto-based actress is heading to court over two alleged sexual assaults she suffered at the hands of the indie movie mogul in 2000. Disney has been listed as a co-defendant in this case as they owned Weinstein's Miramax at the time of the alleged incident. Related: Author Claims Dustin Hoffman Sexually Harassed Her According to the Toronto Sun, the unnamed accuser has taken the first step in launching a lawsuit as she has filed a statement of claim. It appears the woman is seeking $4 million in damages. Per the report, Jane Doe claims to have suffered from emotional distress over her unsavory interactions with the disgraced producer. The supposed victim was introduced to Harvey while working on an unspecified Miramax project. Reportedly, the (now ousted) Hollywood heavyweight told the woman she looked like a famous actress. After the initial introduction, Harvey's assistant, named Barbara Schneeweiss, arranged for a breakfast meeting between Weinstein and the woman so that they could "discuss her career and potential opportunities with Miramax." Hmmm, this already sounds familiar. The anonymous woman says she arrived at Harvey's hotel, only to learn that the sit down had been moved up to Weinstein's suite. The statement specified: "Once alone with Doe, Weinstein announced, ‘I like massages. What do you think about massages?' Doe said she thought massages were great, but that the subject was not an appropriate one for a business meeting." In response, Weinstein is said to have "chuckled" and then proceeded to give the woman a tour of his room. The visit took a darker turn when industry titan "overpowered her, pushed her onto the bed, and took his penis out of his pants." Weinstein then forced the woman's skirt up, pinned her wrists down, and forced oral sex onto her. Doe eventually broke free, however, when she ran into the assistant in the lobby, Schneeweiss merely "looked down." Unsurprisingly, Barbara (who is now an executive with The Weinstein Company) has also been named in the lawsuit. The actress reported the incident to her agent, but Harvey downplayed the situation by saying it was a misunderstanding. After Harvey left several voicemails, the actress agreed to meet with him -- but made sure to bring her agent and friend along with her. Related: Kevin Spacey Lured Teen Into His Bed By "Sobbing" Upon arriving at Harvey's hotel, Doe was somehow persuaded to meet with Weinstein alone. On the second meeting with the now 65-year-old, the statement relayed: "As soon as she did, he threw his weight onto her and tried to stick his tongue down her throat." Ugh. Jane worked with Weinstein on another occasion as she was offered a part in one of his films three years later. Jane says Harvey continued to "harass" her even though she never met up with him again. How awful. Disney has since responded to Doe's allegations with the following: "The Weinsteins operated and managed their business with virtual autonomy, and we were unaware of any complaints, lawsuits, or settlements. There is absolutely no legal basis for this claim against The Walt Disney Company and we will defend against it vigorously." Hmmmm, very inneresting. This is the second civil suit to accuse Weinstein of assault following The New York Times and the New Yorker's exposés about Harvey's sexual misconduct. We'll be sure to keep our eyes on this suit for any developments! [Image via Dave Bedrosian/Future Image/WENN.].....»»

Model Zoe Brock Details Being "Harveyed" By Harvey Weinstein — Read Her Upsetting Account HERE

Harvey Weinstein's list of victims only seems to be growing. Following the explosive New York Times exposé which detailed the indie movie mogul's decades of sexual harassment, several women have come forward to discuss their unsavory experiences with Weinstein. One of the latest people to speak out is model Zoe Brock. Related: Nelly Responds To Sexual Assault Arrest It's been 20 years since Miz Brock's encounter with Harvey, but she clearly remembers how he allegedly lured her back to his hotel room and begged for a massage. Now, if you read the Times coverage, you know that was Weinstein's total M.O. Per Zoe's Medium post, she was only 23 years old when she was "Harveyed." Apparently, the New Zealand-born beauty met Weinstein in 1997 while they were both at the Cannes Film Festival. She revealed: "I met Harvey Weinstein in Cannes at the Film Festival. We were seated next to each other at a fancy dinner. I didn't catch his name and assumed I was talking to another hungry producer trying to sell a little movie to the big wigs. Feeling sorry for him, I went out of my way to be entertaining and nice. It wasn't until later in the meal that I asked the name of his production company." After learning that they had a mutual friend in common, the two industry professionals spent some time together at the film festival. Zoe continued: "With a dear mutual friend in common I felt safe with Harvey. The night was young and so was I. After dinner our large group, which included my Italian modeling agent, a few rich douchebags, some decorative models, and Harvey's entourage, rolled out into the Cannes night. Black town cars and gleaming limos took us to various parties where we glittered and shone like everyone else. Harvey and his assistant, Ben Silverman, never left my side." While the conversation between Zoe and Harvey could've been misconstrued as flirtatious, Brock insists that she only felt "platonic energy" for him. Which makes it so much more troubling that Weinstein and his assistant seemingly manipulated it so that she was separated from her friends: "My group was ushered into one car and I was somehow separated from them and told to get into another car with Harvey and his two friends. Stupidly, I obliged. I was told we were all going to the same place. To this day I do not know if my Italian agent was in on the ruse. My instincts tell me he was." How awful. Things only got worse for Zoe as she relayed: "The energy shifted and I became very uncomfortable... And suddenly I was alone in a remote hotel suite with Harvey fucking Weinstein. My body went into high alert. I was drunk, young, miles from home, without cash to get a cab, and no cell phone... It was time to sober up, and fast." To make matters worse, Harvey moved quickly to proposition Zoe as he was naked and asking for massage almost as soon as they were alone. The model added: "Harvey left the room, but not for long. He re-emerged naked a couple of minutes later and asked if I would give him a massage. Panicking, in shock, I remember weighing up the options and wondering how much I needed to placate him to keep myself safe. He asked if I would like a massage instead, and for a second I thought this might be a way to give him an inch without him taking a mile. I told him I was uncomfortable and that I was angry that I had been tricked into this position. He pleaded with me to let him massage me and I let him put his hands on my shoulders while my mind raced." In an attempt to escape the filmmaker, Zoe locked herself in the bathroom as Harvey pleaded with her to come out. After reprimanding Harvey through a locked door, Brock eventually emerged and found Weinstein whimpering on the bed: "Harvey, contrite, promised to cover himself and leave me alone. I came out of the bathroom and found him sitting on his bed, wearing a bathrobe, crying. 'You don't like me because I'm fat.' He whimpered." Tsk, tsk. Supposedly, the assistant tried to apologize as Zoe has claimed he told her: "'I'm so sorry,' he said. 'I want you to know that of all the girls he does this to you are the one I really felt bad about. You deserve better.'" Ben Silverman, if you're reading this, SHAME ON YOU. Smh. According to Zoe, Weinstein let her stay at his suite at the Majestic Hotel. However, after a friend warned her that Harvey would be back in the morning, the brunette fled the hotel room at 6 a.m. In an attempt to downplay the scandalous nature of their encounter, Harvey sent Zoe red roses and booked a private movie screening for her at the festival. Both presents were unwanted. Be sure to read Zoe's full account for yourself HERE. [Image via Facebook/WENN.].....»»

Peter Fonda Says He Would Have Had Harvey Weinstein "Killed" Over Salma Hayek Abuse!

A few actors who were privy to Harvey Weinstein's predatory ways were so disgusted with the producer, they grew violent. Well, it's a good thing Peter Fonda didn't know what was going on -- for Harvey, at least -- because his plan of vengeance would have been deadly! The Easy Rider star said had he known the disgraced movie mogul had harassed his close pal Salma Hayek back in the day, he would have had Weinstein "killed." Photo: Salma & Ashley Judd Stand STRONG At The Golden Globes! Speaking to DailyMailTV at the BAFTA Los Angeles Awards Season Tea party over the weekend, Fonda said he was beyond outraged reading Hayek's New York Times essay in which claimed Weinstein asked her for sexual favors, "physically dragged" her out of a party, constantly belittled her, and even allegedly threatened to kill her. Fonda, a close friend and colleague of Hayek, said he had no idea what she was going through at the time -- and that's the only reason Weinstein is still alive today! He explained: "Salma Hayek is a dear friend of mine and I've known her for a long time... I did not know what happened to her until I read the New York Times article, and I just grabbed her, when we were down at the Palm Springs Film Festival, I just grabbed her and held her tight and I said to her ear: ‘Had I known that, I would've had him killed.' So easy to do." Um... we guess he's still in contact with Phil Spector? Related: Ally Sheedy Calls Out James Franco's Predatory Past! Fonda's Game Of Thrones-style revenge plan doesn't just include death. The 77-year-old also suggested Hollywood abusers like Weinstein be locked up in "pillories" and spanked -- despite them probably be into something like that. He mused: "I think there are so many evil men and they're so pissed off that they had to come from women that they just abuse and misuse, and they deserve to be put on display in the pillories... naked so that we can all spank them. Of course some of them might like being spanked." The actor then spiraled off into a feminist rant and blamed Christianity for allowing men to abuse women across the centuries: "Without women, we don't exist. I say for over 200,000 years, men have been abusing women. Then I go back to you, men got so upset about having to have women to get here, that they wrote this book years ago and this way, Adam is first. He's created out of dust. Then God takes one of Adam's ribs and makes Eve, so in that sense, this little book screws around with the system, yet every painting about Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, they all have belly buttons. Where was that connected to? God? I don't think so. So without women, we wouldn't exist and I think it pisses off a lot of men. I really do." One thing is very clear from all of this: never cross Peter fucking Fonda. [Image via Dave Bedrosian/Future Image/WENN.].....»»

On Thursday, actress Claire Forlani took to Twitter to reveal that she escaped sexual harassment from Weinstein on FIVE different occasions. How awful!!! Related: The Weinstein Co. Totally Knew About Harvey's Settlements With Victims! The 45-year-old, who appeared in the Miramax-distributed Boys and Girls, shared with her followers: "You see, nothing happened to me with Harvey — by that I mean, I escaped 5 times... I had two Peninsula Hotel meetings in the evening with Harvey and all I remember was I ducked, dived and ultimately got out of there without getting slobbered over, well just a bit. Yes, massage was suggested. The three dinners with Harvey I don't really remember the time period, I was 25. I remember him telling me all the actresses who had slept with him and what he had done for them. I wasn't drinking the cool aid [sic], I knew Harvey was a master manipulator. He also announced to me at the last dinner I had with him at Dominic's that his pilot knew to be on standby because he could never get me to sleep with him, to which I did what I always did, make light of the situation, a joke here or there and moved on. You see, I always thought I was a pro at handling these guys, I'd had a fair amount of experience. Sometimes I got angry, really angry. I wondered why I had Prey stamped on my forehead but this I kept to myself." We feel just awful for Miz Forlani. Although the Meet Joe Black star wanted to speak out against Weinstein for Ronan Farrow's New Yorker piece, she ultimately decided not to comment for the story. Why?? Well, because, her friends advised her not to. The Meet Joe Black star definitely regrets not speaking with Farrow, as she continued: "[Farrow] didn't mention that it was about Harvey but when I received the email I instinctively knew it was going to be. I told some close men around me and they all advised me not to speak. I had already told Ronan I would speak with him but from the advice around me, interestingly the male advice around me, I didn't make the call. Today I sit here feeling some shame, like I'm not a woman supporting other women. I just read Mira Sorvino's article in Time and she writes of how scared she was to speak out and participate. I take little solace in that." We're just proud that Claire is speaking out now. Sadly, Forlani's experience with Weinstein isn't the only negative one she has faced in Hollywood. Per Claire's statement, she had another "disgusting" encounter with a director who harassed Thandie Newton. She added: "I remember when Thandie Newton spoke out about a director that I had also had a disgusting experience with and I felt scared even reading what she said publicly about him, thinking, ‘Damn, she's gonna get crucified for that. 'Yet I was in awe for her bravery and balls, she was a female crusader, modern suffragette and I loved her for it. But I also knew I didn't have those balls, too scared of the repercussions this was because when you did react or tell a man to shove it, there were always repercussions. I was punished when I was brave. So I learned to let it go and carry on." Don't be so hard on yourself, Claire! There's no easy way to take on a predator. Hopefully, there are enough admissions that have come out to solidify the indie movie mogul's excommunication from Hollywood. Fingers crossed. In a Monday morning interview on Good Morning America with Suburbicon costar George Clooney, the two actors criticized the former Miramax cofounder. Related: Harvey's Psychologist Disputes Reports Of Him Being Difficult That's when the Jason Bourne star admitted he knew Gwyneth Paltrow was sexually harassed by Weinstein after Ben Affleck told him: "I knew the story about Gwyneth [Paltrow] from Ben [Affleck], because he was with her after Brad [Pitt], so I knew that story. But I was working with Gwyneth with Harvey on Ripley. I never talked to Gwyneth about it. Ben told me. I knew that they had come to whatever, agreement or understanding that they had come to, she had handled it. She was, you know, the first lady of Miramax. And he treated her incredibly respectfully, always." The A-lister was just one of many to come out to accuse Harvey of sexual harassment. So talking about working with the movie producer personally, Matt reiterated he had no idea about the "predation": "He bought Good Will Hunting, he bought it in 1997, I did five movies in quick succession, he signed me up for a three-picture deal. I didn't work with him after that. I was there at the height of his power, and what you knew back then, you had to spend about five minutes [with him] to know he was a bully and intimidating... Miramax was the place that was making great stuff in the '90s, so when people say everybody knew, yeah, I knew he was an [expletive]. He was proud of that. That's how he carried himself, and I knew he was a womanizer... But this level of criminal, sexual predation is not something that I ever thought was going on." He continued about the controversial movie mogul's "darkness": "He didn't do it out in the open. If there was an event with Harvey, and he was doing this kind of thing and I missed it, and there were some women who was assaulted, at the Golden Globes or something like that, and I somehow missed it, then I'm sorry." George added his own take, saying he didn't believe Weinstein when he would brag about his affairs with actresses: "I didn't think they were having affairs with Harvey, and clearly they didn't. But the idea that this predator, this assaulter was out there silencing women like that, it's beyond infuriating. The fact that the story is coming out, and as more of it comes out, I want to know all of it." Director Says He Was Kicked Off Movie After Harvey Weinstein Didn"t Find His Lead Actress "Fuckable"

"I don't cast films according to Harvey Weinstein's erection." — A quote from director Michael Caton-Jones that should have been published twenty years ago, but wasn't. The role [...] "I don't cast films according to Harvey Weinstein's erection." -- A quote from director Michael Caton-Jones that should have been published twenty years ago, but wasn't. According to a new interview with Buzzfeed, the Scottish filmmaker was kicked off production of B. Monkey because his pick for lead actress wasn't "fuckable," to use Weinstein's term. The role went to Asia Argento instead of British starlet Sophie Okonedo. As we know now, Argento has accused the Hollywood honcho of raping her in 1997. Related: Molly Ringwald Describes YEARS Of Sexual Harassment Caton-Jones first worked with Weinstein 10 years prior on the 1989 film Scandal, when he noted Harvey would only show up to set for sex scenes. They crossed paths again when the Weinstein brothers were attached to the 1998 cult classic. The director said of the extensive casting process: "The basics of the deal was we were going to find an unknown and we were going to cast her as the lead in the film. There was extensive casting. We saw many, many girls, maybe 100 or so. And I ended up — I thought Sophie Okonedo would have been great for the part." "The trouble began" when Sophie and Michael met with Harvey at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills for approval: "Harvey kept saying to me, ‘Do you think she is fuckable?'... That was what the deal was all the time. I said, ‘She is the best actress for the job, Harvey.' And we started arguing about it. It was only when I said to Harvey, ‘Don't screw up the casting of this film because you want to get laid,' whereupon he went mental." When Michael returned to his room to cool off from the argument, he received a call from Variety requesting a comment for a story about him walking off set. Harvey was already covering his tracks. He recalled: "I was furious after being kicked off my film, and I told them all about what happened. I told them about the harassment claims, and I said 'Here is your quote: I don't cast films according to Harvey Weinstein's erection,' and they just laughed." When asked about why his response wasn't included in the original story, a spokesman for the outlet said they couldn't comment on editorial decisions made that long ago under different ownership: "As you know, the publication is under different ownership now, and therefore, we don't have a comment on previous editorial practices." Not long after the incident, Harvey gave Michael Radford the gig as director and cast Argento as the lead. Related: France Planning New Street Harassment Laws According to Caton-Jones' impression of Weinstein: "Sophie Okonedo was not fuckable and that was it. Find someone who is." Even though he was applauded by his close circle for how he handled Harvey's gross behavior, the director still faced repercussions: "I was the stupid one who stood up and told him to go to hell. I stood up to him and told him to go fuck himself. And I got a lot of support from a lot of people when I did that, but you know, I didn't make the film, so he won." As for those saying they were unaware of what was going on all these years, Michael said: "Anyone who didn't know, didn't want to know. It's like Germany after the Second World War — I've never seen so many people not knowing anything. I certainly knew what was going on at the time. And everyone around us pretty much all knew what the score was. You only had to spend five minutes with Harvey to get the nature of the man. He didn't particularly hide who he was." We're just sad this story wasn't told sooner. [Image via Alan West/WENN.].....»»

Weeks later, Jane brought up Megyn‘s plastic surgery question in another interview. “When she first complained, I chose to say nothing,” Megyn told her audience today. “It’s time to address the ‘poor me’ routine.” “To her credit, she has discussed her cosmetic surgery pretty much everywhere before coming on our show,” Megyn explained. “She said the same to Entertainment Tonight. To Access Hollywood. To W magazine for a cover piece. To The Guardian. I could go on. Apparently when she came here, however, again to promote her film about aging, I was supposed to discern that this subject was suddenly off-limits”. Megyn continued, “This is a woman whose name is synonymous with outrage. Look at her treatment of our military during the Vietnam War. The moral indignation is a little much. Honesty, she has no business lecturing anyone on what qualifies as offensive.” Watch below….....»»
