Best and Worst Celebrity Looks of the Week!

Welcome to another edition of Best and Worst Celebrity Looks of the Week! in which, once again, Kesha is at LAX. That girl flies more than most birds. Did you enjoy last week’s? Yeah? Fab. Hopefully you’ll enjoy this week’s as well. As always, go through the looks and tell me who has the Best, Worst, and most WTF look of the week. […] Emmy Rossum kills it again. Kills it always. Killer. And, as always, mine are at the bottom. We’ve got some pregnancy looks for ya, and some (mostly) tame fashion. Celebs in this post include Kim Kardashian, Lena Dunham, and Jared Leto. Let’s just get right to it.   Here’s Amy Schumer showing up for Lena Dunham‘s book launch. I’m not wowed by this, although considering the event, it’s not like she had to wear a ball gown or anything fancy, so I guess it’s fine. “Whatever” sums up my feelings on this quite nicely. Cate Blanchett looks like some high fashion wicked queen or something. I’m kind of torn on this coat. I adore how it fits her, but the fabric and color leaves me a little queasy. Overall though, I’m down with this look.   So, Diane Keaton‘s always gonna dress like this, huh? I don’t know what else to say.   I’m kind of loving this outfit that’s teetering on the edge of mess. I think she looks sharp and as always, super eccentric, in a sexy fun fresh way. Diane Kruger might be my style crush.   Since Emmy Rossum always kills it, I thought I’d show another look of hers from this week. Which do you like better — this pink dress, or the blue one up top? She wears them both so well, it’s hard for me to choose.   Here’s a Jared Leto pic for ya, in case you were worried he was dressing better. Nope! Same look, everything’s fine.   And here’s Girls‘s Jemima Kirke. This is pretty bad. It’s like if Stevie Nicks were a superhero — that’s the vibe I’m getting from this outfit. And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with rocking a little Nicks, but this goes off the rails.   Jennifer Garner. I think this is bad, too, but for different reasons. It’s just bland and boxy.   As promised, here’s Kesha at the airport. How do some celebs look so damn good after a flight? She’s gotta be on her way to an event, right? Like there’s no way she’d waste this cute outfit on just a plane ride, would she? So many questions.   Kiernan Shipka is my favorite little fashion maven, and while I’m digging the shoes and the shape of the dress, I’m just not quite digging the colors and patterns. Something about the dress on her screams “Small World” doll to me — like she should be one of the little singing dolls in the Disneyland ride in this outfit.   Okay, look, sometimes I feel bad about picking on Kim Kardashian but honestly, it’s like she’s doing it for us. What is this outfit? A cropped hole-y turtleneck with matching sweats/leggings and a coat? If it’s so cold, why is your turtleneck cropped? What is even going on here? Come on, Kim.   Here’s Kristen Bell, super pregnant and super cute.   Leighton Meester has been bringing it lately. I’m loving the pleating on this dress.   And here’s Lena Dunham at her book launch. I’m actually really liking this platinum hair on her. She looks cute.   Okay so what do we think: is this an adorable throwback on Olivia Wilde or is it too much throwback and not enough adorable? Personally, I think it’s a touch on the silly side.   I mean here’s Reese Witherspoon looking freakin’ perfect again. Great cut, great color, and I’m not just talking about her hair.   And then we have this intriguing number by Rose McGowan. I swear to God, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — the woman is morphing into Liza Minelli.   This jumpsuit on Rosie Huntington-Whiteley just confuses the hell out of me. She looks like an optical illusion. I’m going dizzy.   Zoe Saldana – also pregnant, also cute. Loving the color. That bracelet though looks like it hurts.   And finally, Zosia Mamet. I think it’s safe to declare everything about this outfit is terrible. My picks for the week are… BEST: Leighton Meester WORST: Zosia Mamet WTF: Rose McGowan Your turn! Marteen"s "Sriracha" and the Story Behind the Spicy Song

Marteen Estevez dropped his free-spirited “Sriracha” video yesterday, which is full of his spicy, slick, and soulful style. The catchy chorus goes, “Girl you got a body like Sriracha, every time I bring you ‘round the homies wanna watch ya, got it from your mama but that ain’t what she taught ya, that’s why I call you lil’ ‘racha.” The Barkeley-born singer is emerging as a hyper creative, singing, dancing wunderkind. “My music is a modern take on nineties R&B with a little Bay Area edge,” shares 16-year-old Marteen, who just signed to Warner Bros. Records. “Coming from Northern California, you have a certain mentality. It’s an indescribable attitude.” Click inside to read JustJared.com‘s exclusive interview with Marteen… MARTEEN ESTEVEZ INTERVIEW JJ: Congratulations on Sriracha, the video is amazing! Riding on the hood of the car is such an awesome shot. Did you conceptualize the video? ME: Thanks. Not completely, but I wanted to make sure it represented the Bay Area since that’s where I’m from, and the standing on cars comes from the hyphy movement of the early 2000′s. We shot the whole thing in West Oakland and had a lot of fun. JJ: How did the song come about? Did you write it and who did you work with on the song? ME: The song started kinda as a joke one day when I was eating some fried rice with Sriracha on it in the studio and told my producer JR [Rotem] that we should make a song called Sriracha. I told him I wanted it to have a fun feel and he started playing the piano part that’s in the song. The beginning of the hook came to me right away and I started playing around with it. We knew as soon as I laid down the first couple melodies that it was gonna be dope. We showed it to my homies Marty James and YMTK a couple days later and they helped us finish it. JJ: Do you really love Sriracha as a hot sauce and spicy food in general? What are your favorite spicy foods? ME: I do love Sriracha actually. I don’t put hella of it on stuff, but I like to spice things up a little. I also really like Frank’s hot sauce. I don’t eat a lot of overly spicy foods but I mess with curry and love Thai and Indian food. JJ: Name the top five celebs who have bodies like Sriracha. ME: Well even though I say “body like Sriracha” in the song I’m not actually talking about a perfect body cause that could be different for everyone depending on what you like, but I more mean an attitude and confidence. I would say my top five based on that is Rihanna, Gal Gadot, Zendaya, Ella Mai, and Cardi B. Betty White a lil’ racha too tho. (laughs) JJ: You have a unique sense of style. Who do you look to for fashion inspiration? Are there certain movies, eras or people who have informed your look? ME: Yeah I figured out that I really like clothes from the 80′s and 90′s. My dad jokes that I like grandpa clothes cause I see old people all the time and say how fire their clothes are. (laughs) Fashion is one of our biggest ways to show self-expression and I like to wear things that make me feel happy. JJ: Your new haircut is very polarizing. People either LOVE or HATE your version of the bowl cut. What made you get it done and how long will you be keeping it? ME: Yeah it’s funny cause you’re right, people are like WTF is up with your hair or they really like it and respect me having my own style. I cut it cause I had the same haircut for awhile and wanted to change it up. I wanted to get something that nobody my age really had and started looking at haircuts online to find something different. I ran across this barber from London who made up this cut called the London Fringe which is what inspired my haircut. I like being different so it’s okay if people don’t always get it cause most people are used to everyone being the same. I’ll probably rock it till I’m tired of it and want to try something new. JJ: You grew up in San Francisco’s Bay Area. What’s your ethnic background? What was your childhood like? How does that reflect in your personal style, your music, and your life in general? ME: I’m mixed with Colombian and white, but my family is a rainbow of different races. I went through some things growing up with family members close to me who were struggling with drug addiction and other stuff, but it’s taught me a lot about what I want and don’t want for my life, and helps me make better decisions as I get older. I moved around a lot as a kid too and grew up in seven different cities in the Bay. I’ve lived in the hood, middle class neighborhoods, and a nice neighborhood. I think being able to see different things and perspectives has made me who I am. It gave me an appreciation for different cultures, and gave me understanding for people from all backgrounds. All of this has played a part in my music, my message, and who I am. I definitely want to be a voice for positivity and hope. A lot of kids don’t come from the best backgrounds and they need to know that they can still do anything they dream – like I am. JJ: You recently went to the Teen Choice Awards. Who are some new teen artists you’ve been obsessed with recently? ME: I can’t really think of any teen artist that I’ve been listening to lately, I listen to a lot of just slightly older artists – PnB Rock, Ty Dolla $ign, Calvin Harris, and Amine. JJ: What are some of your favorite restaurants in LA? Where are your favorite hang-out spots in LA? ME: I love BeaBea’s in Burbank…they got the best breakfast. Mama Hong’s in Burbank got the best Pho. SweetGreen got the best salads. Pink Pepper in Hollywood got some bomb Thai, and Portos always smacks on the pastries and Cuban food. I also love Tender Greens, Chick-fil-A, and hella other places. I love food in general. (laughs) As far as hang-out spots, I mostly kick it at friends’ houses, but I love going to Venice Beach. It reminds me of the Bay for some reason. JJ: When can fans expect new music? Any collaborations? Is there an EP or album on the way? How soon? ME: I’m dropping a project very soon, but I don’t have an exact date yet. I’m not focused on getting any collabs right now, but we’ll see. They can definitely count on me dropping more music and visuals over the next couple months!.....»»

The 36-year-old reality star wrote a blog entry on her website after debuting the look at the Tom Ford fashion show during New York Fashion Week. “I’ve been talking about going blonde again for a long time, and I’m so happy I did! I know a lot of people initially thought I was wearing a wig, but it’s my real hair,” Kim said. “My amazing stylist, Chris Appleton, dyed my hair and got it to the most perfect platinum, silvery-white color.” “We had wanted to do this for a while. Chris felt it would be a great transition from the super long, sleek hair we started doing last year in Paris,” she added. “We wanted a whole new vibe and the silver tone is such an iconic look — the modern version of platinum blonde.” “I was so scared that my hair would get ruined. It took about 12 hours for the first round of dyeing my hair – we definitely took our time with it so it wouldn’t get damaged,” Kim said. “Then, we did another 5-hour session. In the end, so worth it.” “I’m so happy with it and want to keep it a while!” she concluded.....»»

The 34-year-old Justice League star posted the photo and had to edit the comment to clarify that he didn’t actually change up his hair – it’s always been curly (as you can see from many of his social media photos) and the light is making it appear blonde! Henry received comments including, “Is the hair painted or is it a reflection of the photo?,” “is that blonde I see in your hair Henry??,” “Blonde. Like it on you,” and “Blonde wow.” “Off to work with the Bear! #Kal #AmericanAkita” Henry posted, before amending the caption to read, “Edit: For those asking, my hair is naturally curly and I haven’t coloured it. Bachelor In Paradise Finally Addresses The Corinne Olympios & DeMario Jackson Drama — Race "Absolutely" Played A Part

On night two of the Bachelor in Paradise premiere on Tuesday, ABC showed some of the story between DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios before the controversial hookup -- but more interestingly, Chris Harrison sat down with the cast for a discussion about race, sexual consent, and whether or not the show should resume. It's not every day these conversations pop up on reality TV, but we're still curious to know if this was just a desperate attempt for Warner Bros. to prove they aren't liable. Related: Jimmy Kimmel's Baby Bachelor In Paradise Returns! ANYWAY, we'll let you be the judge. -- Harrison asked the remaining cast members if they trusted the outside firm's conclusion that there was "no evidence of misconduct by cast on the set," to which Raven Gates responded: "I was confident that nothing happened between DeMario and Corinne that was bad. I trusted everyone that worked here, so I knew everything was going to be okay." Adding: "My biggest worry was for not only production, because I felt like they were kinda blamed. My worry was for DeMario and Corrine because we knew what happened, but it was so unfair the way that people were speaking about DeMario and the blame he was getting and the horrible things said to him and Corinne both — it broke my heart because I thought no matter if everything is cleared up, people are still going to associate something bad happening with Corinne and DeMario." Alex Woytkiw chimed in: "I think there was a lot in the media regarding the producers as if they're not our friends and they're just using us to make us do things like we're going to just do whatever they say." Derek Peth added: "I think there's a weird perception that exists out there that we're not in control of ourselves when we're here. … We all know how realistic the friendships are with and among the cast. … We are here to make our own decisions and develop real relationships with everybody." Taylor Nolan (Corinne's arch-nemesis from Nick Viall's season who doesn't drink) dished: "We're responsible for ourselves and the things we say, how much we drink, who we kiss. We're all adults here. We're not here to be babysat by production." "Diggy" Moreland expressed his concern for DeMario's future: "Obviously everything came out clean, but I empathize with DeMario a lot more just because I mean obviously we had a black male, white female. But he has 20-30 years of Google searches that are going to be done in his name. I'm thinking of the long-term effects and I was really pissed about that." -- Chris then asked the contestants if they thought race "played a part" in the whole debacle, to which everyone responded with a bevy of "yes," "for sure," and "absolutely" answers. Raven explained: "I'm sensitive to it because I'm from the South and we have a stigma that we're seeing a white woman with a black man is wrong. And that night, what happened wasn't wrong. And so I was super empathetic with DeMario because it's just another issue. Not only is consent important, but it's also to get rid of the stigma that interracial couples can't be or blaming African American men for crimes they didn't commit." Jasmine Goode said of her outrage over what happened: "I was just thinking the whole time: what if this happened to my brother? He's a great guy from the guy I met here … and I never felt he was aggressive with any of us. … I just hate that he's going to have this image stuck with him for a while." -- Then there was the other important topic of conversation: slut-shaming. Raven voiced again: "I think for me and Jasmine, when we were kind of vocal about sticking up for DeMario, people automatically assumed we were slut-shaming Corinne and that was not the case at all. We felt for her. It was never calling her any names or judging her for anything she did. Because we didn't think she did anything wrong and neither did DeMario." Nick's runner-up then continued by bravely opening up about her own experience of being sexually assaulted: "A lot of people don't know this that I was in a very abusive relationship and there was a point where I was sexually assaulted and so I guess that's why I took this kind of really personally. So I hope this situation doesn't deter actual victims from coming forward and really speaking their truth and getting help and asking for help. I hope this doesn't deter anybody." -- Lastly, Harrison brought up sexual consent. The TV personality said: "One of the topics that this has raised and something we should talk about is consent … 'How do you know when someone has given consent when you are getting intimate with somebody?' and 'If somebody is passed out, unresponsive, can they give consent? If somebody is drunk, can they give consent?' ... The purpose of Paradise and what I'm hoping for all of you — and I'm sure you're all hoping — is to fall in love here. Part of falling in love is physical intimacy. That's a big part of any serious relationship. But for while you're here, please keep consent issues in mind and actually that goes for forever, but it definitely should be something we all talk talk about and something we all think about." After the sit-down, everyone agreed to resume partying on the beach -- and we even got to see Carly Waddell and Evan Bass tie the knot! In a new interview with ET, DeMario said he feels "vindicated" now that his name was cleared on BIP. He explained: "I feel like they rolled enough of the tape. You can't show too much, because that's gonna disrespect Corinne and I, and I just feel like it wouldn't be the best or the classiest thing to do. But, they showed enough" Adding: "The public, they need to see something. I think they just needed to see [that] she's lucid. I'm lucid. We're swimming around. We're having fun. We're friends. It wasn't like I'm some predator who was at the bar waiting for the girl to get extremely drunk, then I'm like, 'Oops! Let me pounce on her.' No, it was very mutual and, in fact, she was a little bit of the aggressor in it, and I love how they painted the picture and the story of us actually talking, mingling, getting to know each other ... I do wish [they explained more], Like, that very moment of us getting into the pool and everything, that's when we had kinda got, you know, a little more cozier, so to speak. Everything happened and then we were just finished." One of the things that made him most upset about this whole ordeal was the effect it had on his family: "I feel guilty, because my mom didn't sign up for this, and she's been getting harassed, people tweeting at her, on her Instagram saying, 'Your son's a rapist.' That was the part I was most sad about. I feel like I created this for my family, in a sense, by being a little reckless. And I just want to say I'm sorry to them." And: "The human race failed me, because instead of waiting to see what happened, people were already painting me as this horrible villain, and they were slut-shaming Corinne, and it wasn't the case. It was just very, like, 'Oh, Corinne was like this in a past season. So, she's like this, and DeMario is black, and the media has portrayed African Americans like this for so many years, so he's that'... Do you guys not think about the people whose lives you're ruining?" There was even a moment that left Jackson -- who confessed to losing over 20 pounds and sought a therapist after the scandal -- feeling "suicidal, but not like the suicidal that you might think": "I never thought, 'Oh, I'm gonna kill myself,' but it crossed my mind. I remember just talking to my mom, like, 'My life's over. Like, I don't even want to live anymore.' And she, like, lost it." Wow. We're just so happy this whole thing is over. Selena Gomez Opens Up About Feeling "Really Violated" As A Young Star & The "Slimy" Downside Of Fame

Continuing in her interview with Business of Fashion, the actress recalled what it was like growing up in the spotlight, especially once she started getting attention for her looks. Related: Selena Defends DACA In Political Post For Her Followers! The former Wizards of Waverly Place starlet shared it completely changed her idea of fame: "I think it changed when I started getting known for things that weren't [related to] my work. That's when my passion started to really feel like it was going further and further away. And that scared me." And explained how it all "flipped" when she grew older: "When I was younger, it was all fun to me. When I did state fairs and 100 people would show up, I would be stoked. That was the best feeling in the world. But when I got older, I started to become exposed to the truth behind some stuff and that's when it flipped a little bit. I realized that, 'Oh this is actually really hard, and kind of slimy in certain areas,' and I didn't realize that certain people wanted certain things from me. My confidence went through a lot with that." One particular memory that comes to mind? Selly remembered being photographed at the beach as a teen: "I remember just feeling really violated when I was younger, even just being on the beach. I was maybe 15 or 16 and people were taking pictures — photographers. I don't think anyone really knew who I was. But I felt very violated and I didn't like it or understand it, and that felt very weird, because I was a young girl and they were grown men. I didn't like that feeling." It only got worse when she turned 18: "Then, I would say the last season of my show, I was probably 18 years old, is when I felt like the flip happened. I didn't feel like it was about my art as much. I was on the fourth season of the show, and I felt like I was outgrowing it. I wanted something different and obviously I fell in love for the first time. There was all this stuff that was happening and I didn't know what to do." As you probably remember, Gomez was dating Justin Bieber at the time. It was also not long after this time that Selena took a break from doing music with Selena Gomez & The Scene, but she couldn't stay away too long: "Well I stopped as well. I stopped and then I continued, because I realized that I needed to challenge myself. Do I really love this? Is this worth it anymore? I would look at my crowd on tour and think, 'Yes, this is worth it, right?' But then I would look at myself in the mirror and I just felt like 'I've had enough, I don't know if I can go on anymore.' And I stopped it for a second. But it didn't mean that I didn't love it, I just had to find what I was going to do with it. As long as I'm healthy and happy in my mind, I'm all about it." The 25-year-old later explained there had been a few moments when she was ready to stop again: "I've been through a lot, and I was so young, and there were so many moments where I felt like, 'You know what, I'm done.' But there is this fire in me that I can't explain. I'll have two days off and it burns. There's something inside me that knows I'm supposed to be doing something. I want to be communicating and creating and being stimulated. I want to keep doing things, keep progressing. I always want to challenge myself. So, I want to do the best that I can possibly do. It's cheesy but it's the truth." Read on for more HIGHlights from the actress and singer: On how she copes with being in the spotlight: "Balance the power of saying no and self-care. I have to take care of myself and not feel guilty about it. I will say no when I need to say no, and I will make sure that I will not overdo everything because I feel like if I don't accept everything that's happening then maybe it seems like I'm ungrateful, or I'm not doing enough. I just have to take care of myself. Therapy, faith, hard work, kindness. That's it." On what makes her happy: "My boyfriend [The Weeknd] just got me a beautiful Chanel bag, and [I love it.] It wasn't because it was a Chanel bag, it's because of where it came from and what it meant. So I wear it so proudly, and I feel cute when I have it on. I feel like, 'I love this!' it makes me so happy. It literally just happened so all my friends are laughing because every time I have it on, I feel a certain way. And that to me is an experience. I see both sides, because I get to work and do different things. My job requires me to travel but I've been to a lot of places and I've seen nothing, so there's that too." You've got to applaud her for being so candid! Hopefully the star has no regrets! [Image via Business of Fashion.].....»»

In order to stay relevant for the public, I have to be on Instagram and I have to be on Snapchat just keeping people entertained. And then there's who I really am around my friends. That's who I want you guys to get to know ... It's way easier for me to post on Snapchat or Instagram than it is to be out in public. I just feel like for so long I've been putting on this different persona to the world — I felt like I started to depend on social media, feeling the need to post all the time. I feel like I have to keep up this idea of who I am." Miz Jenner admits she became a more diluted version of herself after receiving a ton of negative feedback online: "I think I lost a lot of parts of myself. My funny side — when I was 14 I used to post all these funny videos all the time, just me being like, super weird and funny and myself. I feel like once I started getting a little bit bigger, then people really started to … everyone says mean things sometimes, it's just how social media is — it's a really mean, negative space ... Every single day I see something negative about me. When that started happening, that really affected me. So I was like: ‘I'm not going to show people that side of me anymore.' I'm kind of putting up a version of myself to the world that isn't fully me." From being home-schooled to only being able to take private jets, Kris Jenner's youngest daughter says growing up on TV has cost her a "normal" life: "I had to get home-schooled, not really because I wanted to but because I missed so much school because I was working. It's hard to feel normal. Because I always want to feel normal, that's the goal in my life ... I started filming Keeping Up with the Kardashians when I was 9 years old. I really don't know what it's like to not have everyone know who I am. I don't know what it's like to live a normal life, where people just don't know who you are, to get out of the car and not have everyone stare at you. I feel like when you grow up on camera, people think that they know you because you're on social media so much and you're on reality TV." She added: "I for sure didn't choose this life, but I'm not going to say that I'm totally innocent, because I am keeping up this lifestyle. I know I'm making myself more famous by having an Instagram and posting photos, but I'm not that type of person where I want all the attention. I don't like that. It actually freaks me out, because it reminds me that I'm ‘Kylie f—ing Jenner' ... A lot of people have it worse than me. It's just it is a lot to handle. Sometimes, I'm like: ‘This is it. I'm going insane.' I feel like this fame thing is going to come to an end sooner than we think. I'm getting the bug again, where I just want to run away. I just don't know who I'm doing it for." After getting a lot of attention for her body positive Instagram pic of her abs, the NASCAR driver explained to People why she decided to show her followers the truth. Related: Winnie Harlow Spreads A Body Positivity Message In A Thong! The 35-year-old admitted: "I think there's a yearning in the world for real. It gives me the opportunity for it to come straight from me and be real. I follow tons of people on social media who you feel envious of; they have the perfect life or they look perfect all the time, and it just seemed like the right thing to do." If you haven't seen the body positive post, check it out (below): I kinda love when people do real vs produced shots. The difference between the two is lighting, pose, and clothes adjustments. We all want to look our best at all times, no shame in that. But don't let someone else's body put yours down. Use it for motivation. 💜Keep digging friends to be the best you! You own that! We all know when we are treating our bodies with the respect it deserves. It's the one and only thing we own for life. 🙌🏼🍎A post shared by Danica Patrick (@danicapatrick) on Jun 20, 2017 at 8:36am PDT Danica continued to share in her new interview: "We can work out to make ourselves look as good as possible — and there's nothing wrong with that — but the reality is I can hold a camera out in front of me and turn in a circle until I find the right lighting and find my best angle. And I can adjust my clothes to make sure that I just look as good as possible." So honest! But the professional race car driver also added it's a journey to feel confident just as you are: "I think being confident in your own skin is something that is probably one of the longest transition periods in your life that you have to come to grips with. I think it starts with positive self-talk, working really hard and feeling good." Hopefully she can inspire more people to love themselves, despite all the produced shots on social media! It’s gonna be a J.Lo year though. It’s gonna be a real J.Lo year, whether you like it or not!” Hey, we’re READY. Although many of us are fans, Jennifer admits she’s aware that she has her fair share of haters. I think once I started doing American Idol, people really got to know my real personality,” she says. “I think maybe before there were a lot of misconceptions about me being a real diva or a problem or being very demanding and things like that. And then once I did that show they could see my true personality, which was kind of just an emotional, happy person who was actually nice. “I think there was a misconception that I actually wasn’t [nice]. I don’t know why they do that to women in this business, but they tend to. A lot of us are really just like any one of your friends. I’m a real girls’ girl and I love hanging out with my besties and things like that. As unusual as my life is, I’m very normal and kind of down to earth.” Jennifer came from modest beginnings, growing up in the Bronx. When she decided to pursue dancing over college, her mother kicked her out of the house. OUCH. I was sleeping on a cot at a dance studio before I hit it big. My life was about pounding the pavement, breaking away from under my mom and dad’s wings and going off and flying on my own. I needed that moment. “I am happy to be one of the people who are breaking the mold. We can’t keep acting like we are in the ’50s. Women are strong. Women are bold. And now it is reflected in our art.” Love her or hate her, you have to admit, Jennifer IS a trailblazer. Can’t WAIT to see all the things she has going on next year! Photos by FAMEFLYNET.....»»

Here’s what the 20-year-old “Perfect Places” singer had to share with the mag: On releasing her debut album (Pure Heroine) at 16 and the constant fuss made over her age: “The hard thing was when people would ask me: ‘Do you feel 16?’ and I’m like: ‘I don’t know, I’ve never been 40.’ It was really confusing.” “People decided that I was the teenage perspective. They’d be like: ‘Oh, well, it’s not really, because it’s not covering this sort of thing’ and I was like: ‘Ah, I’m just one kid! I can’t be everybody’s voice, you know,’” she says, speaking more out of respect to the gravitas of such a title. She knew she was in a unique position. “It was an interesting thing, and especially because I felt like my writing was so specific and so personal, and people did really take it to be this much wider thing, which is super- flattering.” On the release of Melodrama reflecting a gear change in her life: “I basically turned 19 and the world was like: ‘Alright, we’re going to toss everything up in the air and it’s all going to come down in a really crazy way.’ All of a sudden I moved out of home, I went through a break- up,” she says of splitting with her boyfriend of three years, photographer James Lowe. “It felt like every day and every night I was totally having my mind blown by all these new things. I really felt like a young adult for the first time, kind of socially … That period was so creative I just was like: ‘Oh, my God.’ I just couldn’t write it all down fast enough. So that’s very much what the record centered around.” “The whole time I was writing it (Melodrama) I was going out a lot, I was partying a lot, I was going to a lot of shows. I wanted to just be dancing all the time. It was almost like I just want to make the stuff that I want to dance to on Saturday or whatever, which was a super-new thing for me. I think as you do grow up, you go through a break-up and be like: ‘I just don’t want to think about it and I want to drink tequila and dance to Nelly Furtado.’” For more from Lorde, visit Vogue.com.au......»»

The ex-wife of the late Chester Bennington says that she was "disgusted" by the fact she and their 15-year-old son Draven were basically cut out of the Linkin Park singer's funeral services. Related: Linkin Park Announces 'Public Event' In Los Angeles To Honor Chester In a lengthy Facebook post, Samantha calls out specific events such as the fact they weren't allowed to speak, and that there was only one photo of Draven anywhere, and that none of his family was mentioned anywhere in the programs (which she says looked like "a cheap happy hour menu." She also says she and her guests were purposely not included in an "after bowling celebration" following the service. According to Samantha, organizers had no interest in honoring all of Chester's life, only the "12 years" they were a part of. And she has some harsh words for the unnamed persons responsible: "I hope you like capitalizing on his death .. karma is real. I send you back all your energy to you a thousand time folds! Look in the mirror, I hope you like what you see. Business is business but I see Zero Love.." Wow. Though she never says exactly who is responsible, she does mention that Draven was "never treated equally by T," presumably Chester's wife Talenda. You can read the entire angry rant (below): "I have been a lady, I have kept my mouth shut. I hold my head up high but as my head starts to lower I'm not in my own truth. Today I speak & I'm not looking for conflict but I will not sit on my hands any longer. Today Dra is staying home with me. Yesterday was too soon. We have many thoughts & emotions on how everything & everything by all of his "wrecking crew" involved is handling this. We want to speak with the suicide foundation. We want to help others. My son & I have not had an opportunity to speak not even at his funeral ( that only represented his life that he was married to his new wife) no photos but one of him anywhere, it was more like checking into KROQ's Weinie Roast Festival. Dra was never treated equally by T & never wanted to go there because of that. Now because he doesn't want to go into the home where his father's suicide took place, the rumors of me keeping my son from his siblings couldn't be further from the truth! How was that dinner we all met at??? Oh thanks for not honoring the one wish my son had by sharing his prayer with his siblings & throwing the rose quarts into the ocean with him. Thank you for not giving me or my 31 guests any knowledge of we're the "after bowling celebration was" oh & your phone calls hours later wondering were we were lmfao still never mentioned where to go, name of place or address, it was a disgusting delusional display on all people who spoke at the funeral & their characters. Never mentioning a man who grew up from a little boy and loved many things, becoming a rock star was just one thing! We're were photos of him,? why did the program look like a cheap happy hour menu?! I'm so disgusted on so many levels! Their were many friends & family that should have been there but when you turn a funeral into reducing someone's life into only 12 years that's what you get! His parents both were not there (meaning his dad-both parents) mother was there for clarification , & his parents were not mentioned in the program, his siblings were not mentioned, the mothers of his children were not mentioned, even his own children were not listed on the program! There should have been photos of all of us together with our kids & separate. I'm so glad I have all the paper work to back up every judgement etc. especially the judgements that chester did protecting Dra so that our son went there when his dad was home only! Yes, in the end we are completely grateful to that judge. My ex told me & shared a lot with Dra & I. I won't lie to my son for you or anyone. His dad told us both to our face everything when we were out to dinner, at our new home, etc. I'm sure he may of told us all what we would want to hear to get us all off his back. It doesn't matter if I'm ex wife or new wife or ex girlfriend. He choose to be with all of us, have children, & this isn't a blaming game. He is ultimately responsible. However, You all forget the sacrifice my husband & I made financially & keeping peoples positions in place when we we were young and participate making LP even happen. Shame on you!! The truth on every level will come out. We haven't had the opportunity to honor his dad properly for his life time, & the lack of respect & honesty is just disgusting! We do not have a place to go or even any of his ashes!!! You want my son to have some of his things, then give him something you feel is meaningful, do not force him to go into that house he is 15 and even from a year from now I don't think things will change. All our doctors, friends, & family are supporting my son & his choice, this is Draven my son not yours. He would rather not have a jacket from his dad then have you force him to go into that home. Thank you for returning the crystal draven gave him on his birthday this April from Buddha Matrea. Yes, Bali, Healing's, meditation, therapist, yoga & fitness instructors!! We are filling up ourselves with healthiest ways possible. We need all of this especially now. We know why your the way you are & say the things you say. Your afraid the truth will come out. I'm not speaking to just one person. I hope you like capitalizing on his death .. karma is real. I send you back all your energy to you a thousand time folds! Look in the mirror, I hope you like what you see. Business is business but I see Zero Love.. Therapy even on weekends,,, whatever it takes. The frustration is really on so many levels! We know who are friends & family are so if your offended ., good then you read this & it applies!" [Image via Facebook/Ricky Swift/WENN.].....»»

Keke Palmer Calls Out Kylie Jenner For Being ‘Profitable’ Off Not Being ‘Authentic’ & Explains Cultural Appropriation!

The actress and singer opened up to the site about cultural appropriation, Kylie Jenner, and the Kardashian klan! Interestingly enough, those three things have gone together in the past, so maybe it's only appropriate the 23-year-old might have some thoughts on it?? Related: Keke Puts The "World" On Blast For Influencing An "Ugly" Kylie The Scream Queens star explained one point of view: "They feel like it's a situation where black people don't want nobody wearing braids, don't want nobody wearing kinky, curly, whatever. It's not really about that," she says. "It's when people get appreciated, congratulated, or credited for things that are not of their culture. Facts are the facts. A black girl such as myself couldn't go to school without being clowned about her hair sitting on the top of her head. When my hair was too crunchy and too hard and my crown was too high, I was teased and called ‘disheveled.' There was a time when women could not get jobs or go into a workplace without having their hair straightened." And she continued with this message: "It's not you wearing braids to get a job, wearing locs to get a job. You're doing it for kicks. That doesn't bother me, but don't be disrespectful to the culture that it came from." Keke does her best to be as authentic as possible despite the pressures of social media: "Everybody wants to make everybody so crazy, stupid, ugly, or dumb. People just become so judgmental, and it's easy for you to be scorned by that or take those things personal when the reality is people are projecting. That's also hard to believe, especially if you're a kind person or want to understand where people are coming from. So often people feel like, you know what, I'm just going to beat them to the punch and either degrade myself or be so damn perfect they have nothing to say. We've seen extremes of that." Using the Kardashian fam as an example, most specifically Kylie Jenner, the starlet divulged: "In the sense of the Kardashians, it's like I'm going to show you so much perfect and be everything a woman should be or everything a man would like or love. And I'm going to be exactly that so you can't bully me anymore. Specifically in the situation with Kylie [Jenner], where you've had a young girl people have seen on television since she was a kid and they literally told her she was so ugly … the ugly person in the family. She went and did apparently everything the world deems as beautiful. The even crazier part is that everybody loves her for it. What I find interesting is that this is something that is being displayed to my generation — showing young girls, young guys that if you do everything that society wants you to be, not only will you be praised for it but you will make money for it. You can be profitable for not being who you truly are." Palmer has clearly given this a lot of thought! Now wonder she's so aware, and that sounds exactly why she continues to be: "That's the thing we really have to be careful of and why I'm so honest about everything I'm going through — whether that's sadness, happiness, depression, anger, boredom, whatever it may be. We all go through it. And I feel really grateful to be in the industry for as long as I've been and to have people who have been with me this long in my career and stand on a platform and say, 'It's all a gag!'" Do U agree with Keke?? Would U like to see your fave celebs putting up less of a front? [Image via Instagram.].....»»

Halsey Gets Real About Growing Up Biracial In Playboy!

For the upcoming music issue of Playboy, the 22-year-old got real about her miscarriage, Planned Parenthood, and what it was like growing up biracial but "passing" for white. Related: Charli XCX & Halsey Cover The Spice Girls When asked about being half black, the songstress said: "I'm half black. My dad managed a car dealership, wore a suit to work, had a nice watch, was always clean-shaven, handsome, played golf on the weekends. And people would come up to him like, 'Yo, brotha! What's up!' And my dad would be like, 'Hi.…'" But for her personally, the Colors singer found it tricky to navigate at times: "I'm white-passing. I've accepted that about myself and have never tried to control anything about black culture that's not mine. I'm proud to be in a biracial family, I'm proud of who I am, and I'm proud of my hair. One of my big jokes a long time ago was 'I look white, but I still have white boys in my life asking me why my nipples are brown.' Every now and then I experience these racial blips. I look like a white girl, but I don't feel like one. I'm a black woman. So it's been weird navigating that. When I was growing up I didn't know if I was supposed to love TLC or Britney." As for the reaction she gets when people learn she's not 100% white, Halsey explained: "White guilt is funny, but this is a really hard time for white allies. People don't want to do too much but want to do enough, and in my bubble of Los Angeles I'm surrounded by a lot of good people with a lot of good intentions. But as I learned in this past election, my bubble is just a small fraction of how this country operates.
