Teen Mom OG"s Amber Portwood Reveals Daughter Leah Is The One Calling The Shots When It Comes To Custody!

According to Amber Portwood, her daughter with ex Gary Shirley, Leah, is the one making the custody schedule between the separated coparents. Huh... Related: Mackenzie Standifer Responds To Taylor McKinney's Shade! The Teen Mom OG star explained to Us Weekly: "She's getting older and it's becoming to the point where she kind of decides when she wants to go back and forth and what she wants to do, which is a great thing. It's easier that way, you know?" Makes sense. Still, that's a lot of power to give one youngster. Regardless, the MTV star only wants what is best for her first child. The pregnant TV personality continued: "Some weekends she wants to go and spend the night with her friends or do something else. I mean, she's a kid so I can't really get mad at that. But I do miss her a lot and I do explain to her that, even though she's young, ‘Mommy still wants to see you more' and things like that. She understands, but she's a kid … As long as she knows that I love her and that we spend time together … that's really all that matters. As long as she's happy." After reading this, we're actually kind of impressed with Leah's time management skills. However, this ability likely came from growing up in front of the TV cameras. In case you forgot, Amber and Gary share custody of Leah and have documented their personal struggles on 16 & Pregnant and TMOG. Thankfully, both Amber and Gary have moved on, with Shirley having wed Kristina Anderson and Portwood's pregnancy with beau Andrew Glennon. As of right now, Gary has no beef with Amber's new baby daddy. Miz Portwood added: "There's no fighting, no anything like that. Andrew just wants me to be happy and when he sees Gary saying certain things and I'm crying or I'm really sad about it … it hurts him and it does make him angry, but he stays out of it as much as he can because it's really not his place to be in between that. But he does want me to be happy and, you know, he's a strong man. So he opens up his mouth, but yeah, not anything crazy or anything like that." Phew. Since Gary had issues with Amber's last boyfriend Matt Baier, we're glad to see that there's no major drama going on with Mr. Glennon. On how Andrew's been during her pregnancy, the 27-year-old noted: "[Andrew's] really protective over me especially now that I'm pregnant. He's super protective over how I feel, so he doesn't appreciate the things that [Gary] says about me because he feels like he knows me better because, you know, being with me every day." Awwwww. Although Amber and Gary are pulling off coparenting, she did NOT appreciate Kristina's recent suggestion on Teen Mom OG that the Shirleys adopt Leah: "I thought it was ludicrous and absolutely ridiculous. I would understand a comment like that if I was an addict again or if I was doing something in my life that was outrageous. However, I don't think falling in love with somebody is something that's outrageous. People do it all the time, you know. It's really hurtful that they connected with me not seeing Leah because of my depression to me being with Andrew … So it's hurtful and it also makes me angry to make me thing they're talking behind my back like that as though I'm just a mom who doesn't care about my child which is absolutely absurd." Eek. Nonetheless, Amber is determined to keep Leah far away from any drama. In fact, at the end of the day, Amber is pretty grateful that her daughter has so many loving people in her life. She concluded: "The good thing for Leah is that she has many people around her that she's able to talk to and confide in if anything does happen, so that's all l really care about. If I'm not there, at least another woman is there to be that motherly figure for Leah because that's what Leah needs. She has a good family around her. And even Andrew being so new, he really does care about Leah and thinks she's just a neat kid, you know, cause she really is. She's smart, she's artistic and [Gary] loves art. She's just a neat kid to him." So sweet. We're glad to see things are going strongly for Amber, Leah, and their loved ones!! [Image via Instagram.].....»»

Amber Portwood Lashes Out At Baby Daddy Gary Shirley & MTV For Belittling Her Relationship With Andrew Glennon

During Monday's showing of Teen Mom OG, the MTV star took to Twitter to DRAG her first baby daddy and his wife Kristina for "talking shit" about her relationship with cinematographer Andrew Glennon. Uh oh!! Related: Kieffer Delp Busted For Allegedly Running A Meth Lab! The drama all started when Gary discussed Amber's recent breakup with ex-fiancé Matt Baier. Shirley dished in front of the TMOG cameras: "She should have waited. She should have taken more time with Leah, and focused on her responsibility as a mother... I know you're sad from breaking up with somebody, I get it. From day one, I've been a parent, from day one I've never let my issues stop me from being a dad. I don't have the option to not be a parent." Oof. In response, Miz Portwood shared with her 807K followers: Make sure to watch Gary and Kristina tonight talking shit about me! It must be hard making money off of me! Being such a bad mom and all. Where would they be? Wait..in a 1 bedroom shack in the ghetto of Anderson where he was before I got out and the show came back on!! Ignorant! — Amber Portwood (@AmberLPortwood) January 15, 2018 Remember if your going through hell make sure you keep it all inside. And people should be able to say whatever they way about you. Especially your ex! Make sure when your suicidal that you always have your kid right next to you the whole time! It's very healthy for them!! Idiots — Amber Portwood (@AmberLPortwood) January 15, 2018 DAYUMMMMM. Tell us how you REALLY feel, Amber. We're sad to see Amber and Gary at odds as they share eight-year-old daughter Leah together. The 31-year-old has since responded to his ex's public shade as he commented: I stayed where I was cause I’m no better than the next person i saved up to put 20% down. I didn’t wanna move and feel like I was struggling, and I wanted to think out all options and find where I wanted my kids to grow up. You can talk poo about me, but plz not about Kristina. — Gary Shirley (@ItsGaryTime) January 15, 2018 Sorry for the wonderful drama you see or don’t see. My wife Kristina is amazing we had a rocky start and we made Thru and honestly I love her and she is one hell of an influence. Please don’t judge us by what someone else says there is always more to it. We love you all. — Gary Shirley (@ItsGaryTime) January 15, 2018 However, he then backtracked his criticism a bit, as he continued: @AmberLPortwood I know your going Thru stuff & feel bashed. But you do ultimately have our support, yes we have concerns of our own. And we do a tv show, so ya shit gets said, on both ends. Continue being the amazing mother you have been. And keep that Baby fed in the gut. — Gary Shirley (@ItsGaryTime) January 15, 2018 Clearly, Gary has ZERO interest in beefing with his former flame. And, for Leah's sake, we're happy about that. Regardless, Amber was on the warpath as MTV also felt her wrath online. On her experience with the network, Portwood relayed: I've been on this show for 10 years. I've been through hell! MTV has turned my pregnancy and this relationship into a joke in one of the happiest times of my life. Apparently my life is just for people to tell me how horrible I am as a mother because I went through depression! — Amber Portwood (@AmberLPortwood) January 15, 2018 Yikes. Amber went on to credit Andrew for getting her through such a tough time: Andrew is the reason I was able to pull myself together! He showed me that life was worth living! I'm thankful to have him because now I will be ALIVE for my daughter and family! — Amber Portwood (@AmberLPortwood) January 15, 2018 I'm glad to have such a beautiful family! My life is full of joy and I now get to share it with my daughter and son on the way! 🤰🤗 — Amber Portwood (@AmberLPortwood) January 15, 2018 At least, Amber feels supported by her new beau. Hopefully the drama mellows out a bit -- we can't imagine this stress is good for her baby. [Image via Instagram/Twitter.].....»»

It’s easier just to sleep with other people until it leads to apologies and appreciation of your spouse or unpremeditated murder and a one hour special on the show Snapped. While appearing on PEOPLE Now on Monday, Taye Diggs revealed who he and Idina Menzel chose as their “celebrity hall pass” when they were married. (The two separated in 2013 and finalized their divorce the following year.) “I remember Idina’s was Colin Farrell, and then she immediately got a movie with him,” he said. “Mine at the time was Lucy Liu, and that’s right when I got Ally McBeal.” The takeaway here is that they both should have picked better talent to end a marriage over. If Colin’s performance in bed was the same as in the Killing of a Sacred Deer then I’m not surprised that the Idina didn’t stay with him after she eventually left her husband. And by just looking at Lucy it was easy to tell that she would age in dog years. She still has the body of your favorite fetish category that you still won’t tell your friends about but her face is living 10 years ahead of everything else on her. Just a different kind of ratings than expected... The Pretty Little Liars alum has been spending a lot of time with her new costar Riley Smith, and on Valentine's Day the two were spotted outside a restaurant kissing -- while Lucy held a single white rose. Or maybe they're just friends and that was a coincidence. LOLz! Video: Watch Shay Mitchell Run Naked Through The Streets Of Los Angeles (BTW, if you're not sure where you know Riley from, he's been in movies and TV for years -- but it might be from being the hot bike messenger in the Olsen Twins movie New York Minute!) Ch-ch-check out some pics of the cast of The CW's upcoming Life Sentence (below) and see if YOU can detect any magnetism between these two: This group of remarkable humans and I just had our last table read for season one of Life Sentence. I’m so excited to introduce you into our world we’ve been creating these last 6 months. @cw_lifesentenceA post shared by Lucy Hale (@lucyhale) on Dec 14, 2017 at 4:24pm PST LIFE SENTENCE will premiere MARCH 7. Wednesday’s at 9pm following Riverdale on @thecw ! WE HAVE A PREMIERE DATE GUYS. IM SO EXCITED FOR YOU TO MEET THESE CHARACTERS. @cw_lifesentenceA post shared by Lucy Hale (@lucyhale) on Jan 7, 2018 at 11:34am PST Life Sentence was my new chapter in life... It was extraordinarily scary to start something new and lead the charge , but boy am I glad my heart led me here. I feel completely fulfilled and full of gratitude. I leave Vancouver with a heart so full of joy and my soul lit up in a way I haven’t felt in a long time. For the last 6 months I’ve cried and laughed with these remarkable humans, doing our best to create characters and a world that we hope you openly take into your own home. THANK YOU to our hard working cast, crew, writers and producers for emotionally and physically investing yourselves into this experience. I am indebted to you. Thank you to @thecw and @doozerproductions for believing in this show whole heartedly. Let this show teach you about love and life and all the shitty times in between. We appreciate all of you who will be keeping up with the Abbotts. (March 7 premiere) That’s a wrap on Season 1!! 💗. @cw_lifesentence 📸: @iheartmaarten Xx-LucyA post shared by Lucy Hale (@lucyhale) on Jan 12, 2018 at 1:09pm PST Catch that? "It was extraordinarily scary to start something new and lead the charge , but boy am I glad my heart led me here." Hmm... BTW, Life Sentence sounds like a pretty interesting show, all about a young woman with terminal cancer who decides to go crazy and live life like there's no tomorrow for her last few months -- until she's miraculously cured and has to face the consequences of her diem carpe-ing. Jimmy Kimmel surprised a Hollywood tour bus full of unsuspecting fans by having them walk into the Dolby Theatre in the middle of the Oscars ceremony. Jimmy singled out a man named Gary and his fiancee Vicki. He even had Denzel Washington officiate an impromptu wedding ceremony during the show. After the show, the media dug up Gary‘s story and how he had just been released from prison three days earlier after serving 20 years. “It was great for my family and friends to see me on the Oscars,” he told THR. “But two days later, [the media] tried to make it something ugly.” “It was horrible,” Gary said about the attention from the media. “I didn’t ask to be put on the Oscars. I was minding my own business, walking down the street. I was like, ‘Wow, that’s crazy — that’s America for you.’” He added, “And how about the way it’s come down? Look what happened to Harvey Weinstein! Come to find out that the people up in really high places are the ones we should’ve been watching, and not some poor little black guy that’s been locked away in prison for the last 20 years!”.....»»
