Brunton. Brunton says the incident happened in 1981, when he and Takei became friends. When he went to the former Star Trek actor’s apartment one night for drinks, he claims he felt dizzy and passed out, later waking up with his pants around his ankles and Takei groping his crotch and trying to get his underwear off. Takei, an outspoken advocate for the LGBT community throughout the years, denies that the incident ever happened and says he doesn’t remember Mr. Brunton. “The events he describes back in the 1980s simply did not occur, and I do not know why he has claimed them now. I have wracked my brain to ask if I remember Mr. Brunton, and I cannot say I do,” he wrote in a series of tweets. Read them all below. Friends, I'm writing to respond to the accusations made by Scott R. Bruton. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Star Trek star allegedly groped former model and actor Scott R. Brunton in Los Angeles in 1981. Brunton was 23 years old at the time of the alleged incident. Related: George Takei SLAMS Donald Trump's 'Dangerous Talk' Of A Muslim Registry The accuser tells the publication: "This happened a long time ago, but I have never forgotten it... It is one of those stories you tell with a group of people when people are recounting bizarre instances in their lives, this always comes up. I have been telling it for years, but I am suddenly very nervous telling it." According to Scott, the two met at Greg's Blue Dot bar where they exchanged numbers. After Brunton broke up with his-then boyfriend, the author invited him out for dinner and a theater show. "He was very good at consoling me and understanding that I was upset and still in love with my boyfriend... He was a great ear. He was very good about me spilling my heart on my sleeve." The two went back to Takei's condo and had more drinks. However, Brunton began feeling "dizzy" and "disoriented" after two rounds. "We have the drink and he asks if I would like another... And I said sure. So, I have the second one, and then all of a sudden, I begin feeling very disoriented and dizzy, and I thought I was going to pass out. I said I need to sit down and he said sit over here and he had the giant yellow beanbag chair. So I sat down in that and leaned my head back and I must have passed out." When he woke up, he allegedly saw George "groping" his crotch, and tried "to get my underwear off." "The next thing I remember I was coming to and he had my pants down around my ankles and he was groping my crotch and trying to get my underwear off and feeling me up at the same time, trying to get his hands down my underwear... I came to and said, 'What are you doing?!' I said, 'I don't want to do this.' He goes, 'You need to relax. I am just trying to make you comfortable. Get comfortable.' And I said, 'No. I don't want to do this.' And I pushed him off and he said, 'OK, fine.' And I said I am going to go and he said, 'If you feel you must. You're in no condition to drive.' I said, 'I don't care I want to go.' So I managed to get my pants up and compose myself and I was just shocked. I walked out and went to my car until I felt well enough to drive home, and that was that."' Although the two met up years later in Portland, Brunton was unable to ask George why he (allegedly) assaulted him. "I wanted to see him... I always wanted to ask him — I just felt really betrayed. I thought I was a friend and here I am later, just another piece of meat. So I called him up at the hotel — I figured out which hotel he was at — and he said 'Hi, Scott. I remember you.' I wanted to ask him why. We met for coffee, and I just couldn't bring myself to do it. It was just too uncomfortable."' According to Takei's rep: "George is traveling in Japan and Australia and not reachable for comment." Four of Brunton's friends confirm to THR that Scott previously told them about the alleged encounter. [Image via Joseph Marzullo/WENN.].....»»

As we previously reported, the Star Trek alum was recently accused of sexually assaulting former model and actor Scott R. Brunton in the '80s. While Takei fiercely denied the accusation, an interview with Stern has since resurfaced, which featured him joking about touching men. Related: Corey Feldman Reveals He Was Abused By Alphy Hoffman Although George still maintains his innocence, the 80-year-old acknowledged how distasteful the bit was and apologized for making light of a serious situation. In a statement on Facebook, Takei wrote: "Many have raised concern over a back-and-forth between Howard Stern and myself, where we joked about me touching men during my Star Trek days 50 years ago. Out of context, I agree that the joke was distasteful, and I'm very sorry he and I made fun out of a serious matter." Okay, good start. He continued: "For decades, I have played the part of a 'naughty gay grandpa' when I visit Howard's show, a caricature I now regret. But I want to be clear: I have never forced myself upon someone during a date. Sometimes my dates were the initiators, and sometimes I was. It was always by mutual consent. I see now that that it has come across poorly in the awkward sketch, and I apologize for playing along with Howard's insinuation." Hmmm, we wonder what Brunton thinks about all of this?? Regardless, Takei is vehement that he is against non-consensual acts, as he concluded: "Non-consensual acts are anathema to me and my personal code of conduct, and I would never do something against anyone's will, period." Real Housewives Of New York Stars Left Covered In Vomit, Soaked, & Screaming Due To Colombian "Boat Ride From Hell"!

According to reports, the RHONY ladies were covered in vomit and fearing for their lives as the ship they were on CAUGHT FIRE and started SINKING. *GASP* Related: Kenya Moore & Kim Zolciak Chose To Skip The RHOA Trip To Barcelona It's said the women were preparing to enjoy some fun in the sun aboard a luxury yacht in Cartagena, Colombia, when things quickly descended into chaos. Apparently, the boat was not as lavish as promised, as it was actually a decrepit vessel. An insider shared with Page Six: "Once they were ushered on board, the boat couldn't even move. The anchor got stuck, so the crew had to saw the anchor off before they could sail anywhere. When they got out to sea, the engine caught fire. It was a huge blaze and the crew was fighting to put it out. They didn't have a fire extinguisher nor did they speak English." Uh oh!! Another tipster confirmed the disaster, as they told People: "The boat was old, beaten up and falling apart. There were no amenities, no food, and a crew that didn't know what they were doing. I mean, the anchor had to be sawed off before they even departed because it was so rusty and tangled. That's how bad this was!" What a nightmare. To make matters worse, the water was VERY choppy, so "the seats and other things on board that weren't nailed down started flying about." The ship started taking on water at one point, which was a problem since there were only "two or three life jackets for everyone on board." The Page Six source continued: "They all thought they were going to die and they were hysterical. Bethenny [Frankel], Ramona [Singer] and Dorinda [Medley] were soaked and screaming hysterically, Carole [Radziwill] and Tinsley [Mortimer] were literally throwing up from seasickness. They were far out to sea and they thought they were going down like the Titanic." An additional confidant dubbed the trip "the boat ride from hell" and confirmed that "these women survived a horror show." They relayed: "They were soaked to the bone, scared shitless, and sick by the end. They were crying out for their lives. When the ship caught on fire, they thought it was over." Yikes. Thankfully, the women were rescued by a passing boat, but are understandably traumatized by the experience. Bravo has supposedly offered the cast counseling and is investigating the situation. A rep for the network noted in a statement: "The Real Housewives of New York City cast was recently on a boat in South America and encountered turbulent water. Thankfully, everyone is fine and was able to continue their vacation as planned. The safety of our cast and crew is paramount and, to that end, we are doing a full investigation." We're sure Bravo is scrambling to clean this PR mess as it's said the women didn't want to go on the ship in the first place. In fact, reports claim production "pushed them to continue because they knew it would make good TV." The first People insider added: "Ramona and Sonja did their usual [complaining]. Carole, Dorinda, Luann [De Lesseps], and Bethenny tried to have fun with it, as they have with a lot of the sub-par conditions they've experienced in Colombia, and just enjoy the ride. But even they changed their tune in the end." Oof. One positive thing about this experience is that it "brought them together." The cast confidant concluded: "Any feuds that have been carrying through the season were thrown aside. They're furious with production for putting them in that situation to begin with." The cruise disaster wasn't the only hiccup to occur on the getaway. Allegedly, one cast member got sick due to a parasite and had to wear a diaper. Additionally, all of the travel woes left Singer wheelchair bound at the airport. Smh. We're thinking of these ladies during this intense time (but, we're also counting down the days until Bravo releases the episode associated with this trip.) [Image via Instagram.].....»»

The now 81-year-old actor was accused of making an unwanted advance on former model Scott R. Brunton while he was passed out after the men had dinner together in 1981. The new article questioned the inconsistencies in Scott‘s story, after he admitted to not remembering if George physically touched him. “As many of you know, this has been a very difficult period for myself and my husband Brad as we have dealt with the impact of these accusations, but we are happy to see that this nightmare is finally drawing to a close. As I stated before, I do not remember Mr. Brunton or any of the events he described from forty years ago, but I do understand that this was part of a very important national conversation that we as a society must have, painful as it might be,” George wrote on his Twitter. He added, “It is in that spirit that I want folks to know, despite what he has put us through, I do not bear Mr. Brunton any ill will, and I wish him peace. George Lucas Says He Sold ‘Star Wars’ To “White Slave Drivers”

Oh boy. It sounds like George Lucas isn’t exactly thrilled with ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens,’ no matter that the film has made over $1 billion in record time. It sounds like George Lucas isn’t exactly thrilled with ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens,’ no matter that the film has made over $1 billion in record time. He got honest about why he decided to sell ‘Star Wars’ to Disney and what he thinks of ‘The Force Awakens.’ RELATED: Here are red carpet pictures from the ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ premiere, including a sparkling Lupita Nyong’o, Daisy Ridley, George Lucas and more! George explained how he ended up selling the ‘Star Wars’ franchise (actually all of Lucas Films) to Disney in the first place. I looked at the future, I looked at the fact that I was going to have a baby, I looked at the fact that I was married, and I looked at the fact that I wanted to build a museum, and I looked at the fact that I wanted to make experimental films. So, my life was going on a different track. I noticed the last few movies that I’d made were costing the company a lot of money and I didn’t think that was fair to the people that worked there or the company. So, I made a decision to move ahead on the next Star Wars series and we were starting to do that. “We were working with a writer—it wasn’t quite working out—but I was also…you know, I was also stepping away a little bit and turning things over to Kathy Kennedy.” He was sharing his thoughts about retirement to Disney’s Bob Iger, who told him: ‘If you really want to sell it, we’re very interested.'” That put the sale in motion. I had the story treatments outlined and we were working on scripts. So, I sold it, but I knew when I sold it, I said, ‘I’ve tried to make movies where I step away—Empire and Return of the Jedi—and after about a couple weeks I knew I couldn’t do that. I had to stand over the shoulder of the director, help him, whisper in his ear constantly, ‘No, do this. Do that.’ And be there to help guide it. It was much harder than if I had just directed it myself.” Apparently, however, the idea of George staying involved- or perhaps the ideas he had for the stories- made Disney “a little nervous,” according to the ‘Star Wars’ creator. One of the issues was the first three movies had all kinds of issues. They looked at the stories and they said, ‘We want to make something for that fans.’ I said, ‘All I wanted to do was tell a story of what happened.’ You know, it started here and it went there. It’s all about generations, and it’s about the issues of fathers and sons and grandfathers. It’s a family soap opera. I mean, ultimately. We call it a space opera but people don’t realize it’s actually a soap opera and it’s all about family problems. It’s not about spaceships. They decided they didn’t want to use those stories. They decided they were going to go do their own thing, so I decided, ‘Fine.'” George admitted that Disney wasn’t “that keen to have me involved anyway.” Ouch. So instead he treated the sale like a breakup. At the same time I said, ‘I’m not gonna…If I get in there, I’m just going to cause trouble because they’re not going to do what I want them to do and I don’t have the control do that anymore, and all it would do is muck everything up.’ So I said, ‘OK, I will go my way and let them go their way.’ And it really does come down to a simple rule of life, which is when you break up with somebody, the first rule is no phone calls. The second rule, you don’t go over to their house and drive by to see what they’re doing. The third thing is you don’t show up at their coffee shop or their thing like you’re going to run it. You just say, ‘No! Gone! History! I’m moving forward.’ Because every time you do…something like that, you’re opening the wound again, and it just makes it harder for you. You have to put it behind you, and it’s a very, very hard thing to do. But you have to just cut it all off and say, ‘OK, end of all game. I’ve got to move on.'” Given the creative disagreements, that was probably the best approach for him to take, don’t you think? RELATED: Tie the knot, he will: George Lucas is engaged! George shared his conflicted feelings about selling the ‘Star Wars’ franchise. Everything in your body says, ‘Don’t. You can’t.’ These are my kids. I loved them. I created them. I’m very intimately involved with them.” Yet he did sell them. He said: I sold them to the white slavers that take these things, and…” Oh my. George does sound very conflicted. He also opened up about his thoughts on ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens,’ admitting it wasn’t what he would have done. J.J. Abrams, he’s a good director, a good friend. “They wanted to do a retro movie. I don’t like that. Every movie, I worked very hard to make them different. I made them completely different—different planets, different spaceships to make it new.” I think that’s a fair comment to make about ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’: it does feel very much like ‘Star Wars Espisode IV: A New Hope’ rather than an original movie, per se, although it’s still an incredibly fun film to watch! It is a reboot with the next generation of characters. I’m curious about what George would have done, but I’m a bit fearful, too: I’m one of the people who wasn’t a big fan of the prequels. The idea was interesting, but the stories just didn’t quite work. I can’t imagine what it must be like for George, though, as the creator, watching your story go on without you. Four billion dollar sale or not, it’s gotta be tough. I don’t know if the success of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ makes things better or worse. Photos by FAMEFLYNET.....»»
