Sean Spicer is fucking PISSED, y'all! Related: Sean, You're Fucking Spineless And A Joke The former White House press secretary went on Fox News on Friday night to talk to host Sean Hannity (LOL) about his time working for Donald Trump and his resignation -- and all of Sean's butthurt anger is directed at one place: Saturday Night Live! Yeah, because that makes sense... On the show last night, Spicer argued that SNL -- through Melissa McCarthy's HIGHlarious portrayal of him -- crossed the line from funny to mean: "I'm a prankster, I like a good joke. I think when it's funny, it's funny. Sometimes it goes from funny to mean .... I think that there were parts of it that were funny, but there's a lot of it that was over the line. It wasn't funny. It was stupid, or silly, or malicious. But there were some skits on late-night television that I did crack up at. ... You have to have a little bit of a thick skin if you're going to do this." 'You have to have a little bit of a thick skin if you're going to do this,' he says, as he talks out of the other side of his mouth about being unbelievably butthurt at how SNL portrayed him. Come on, man!!!! Related: Take Away Trump's Phone... But, Like, For Real This Time Yeah... OK, Sean. Hearing all this, we're sure everyone is going to take you seriously for the rest of your pathetic career doing... what the fuck it is that you do. Sure, pal......»»

CBS Tries To Set Itself Apart From The Rest With ‘9JKL’

For decades, sitcoms dominated the TV landscape. If you looked at the ratings each TV season, it wouldn't be unusual to find that at least half of the top ten shows were comedies. If you looked at the ratings each TV season, it wouldn’t be unusual to find that at least half of the top ten shows were comedies. (In 1978, 60 Minutes was the only non-comedy to make the list!) But that all changed in the new millennium. Between the rise of reality programming and high-profile dramas, top-rated comedies became harder and harder to find. Shockingly, between the sign-off of Everybody Loves Raymond and the ascension of The Big Bang Theory, six years passed without a single comedy in the season-end top ten! Despite the genre’s struggles, CBS has stuck by the traditional comedy. Along with Big Bang, its lineup features conventional sitcoms like Mom, Man With A Plan, Superior Donuts and Kevin Can Wait. They’re adding to that roster this fall with 9JKL. Created by and starring Mark Feuerstein, it’s based on his real-life story, when he lived in Apartment 9K, sandwiched between other family members in 9J and 9L. The cast also includes veteran actors Elliot Gould and Linda Lavin. After taking a look at the first-look feature CBS has produced, are you ready to move into the building with them? 9JKL premieres Monday, October 2 on CBS. That’s a Wrap: The Week in TV News

Get the latest TV casting, scheduling and development news. After months in limbo, CBS All Access has revealed that Star Trek: Discovery will debut Sunday, Sept. 24 with a broadcast on CBS before moving to the CBS All Access online platform. The network recently boosted the episode order, meaning that the show will now run in two installments with the first eight episodes to run on Sundays from Sept. 24-Nov. 5 and the back half picking up in January 2018. According to the Hollywood Reporter, HBO have been discussing a possible Watchmen series with The Leftovers honcho Damon Lindelof. The project is still being developed. Zack Snyder directed a 2009 film based on The Watchmen comic, but is not expected to be involved with the series. Woody Harrelson and Kevin Costner are reportedly in negotiations with Netflix to star in Highwayman, a drama about a pair of Texas Rangers who put an end to the crime spree of Bonnie & Clyde. A key figure in the first season of ABC’s Designated Survivor won’t be back for Season 2. Virginia Madsen confirmed via Twitter that her character Kimble Hookstraten will not be returning. Speaking of change, NBC is doing a massive overhaul of the freshman drama Taken. Clive Standen and Jennifer Beals will be the lone returning cast members, with Gaius Charles, Brooklyn Sudano, Monique Gabriela Curnen, Michael Irby, Jose Pablo Cantillo and James Landry Hebert all exiting the show ahead of the second season. Kim Raver has joined the cast of Showtime’s Ray Donovan for its fifth season. The Grey’s Anatomy alum will scrub in as a cutting edge surgeon in a recurring role. Season 5 starts Sunday, Aug. 6. Gossip Girl actress Jessica Szorh has landed a recurring role on the upcoming season of Showtime’s Shameless. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Szorh will play Nessa, a lesbian tenant at Fiona’s newly purchased apartment building. Daniel Henney, most recently seen on the canceled Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, will jump over to the mothership. He’ll reprise his character from Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders as Special Agent Matt Simmons. The original Criminal Minds returns to the CBS schedule on Sept. 27. Tony Danza is returning to TV, inking a deal to head up The Good Cop for Netflix. TV Line reports that Danza plays a disgraced former loose canon police officer who lives with his son, who is also a police officer who is very by-the-book unlike his father. The cast is now set for Jason Alexander’s AT&T Audience Network show Hit the Road. Amy Pietz, Natalie Sharp, Nick Marini, Tim Johnson Jr. and Maddie Dixon-Poirer have all been cast in the series that just began production and will air this fall. Sean Bean has been cast in the new Crackle drama The Oath. The series digs into the world of gangs. Deadline reports that Bean will play a cop who is also the ruthless leader of a prominent gang made up of those who are meant to enforce the law. Deadline reports that Oscar nominated actress Jacki Weaver is set to co-star in TNT’s drama pilot The Deep Mad Dark. The show is being produced by John Wells and centers on a Detroit neurosurgeon who embarks on an unorthodox study in the field of memory and trauma only to have her life turned upside down by a long absent friend (Weaver)......»»
