More Than A Dozen Women Come Forward With Sexual Assault Allegations Against Porn Veteran Ron Jeremy — "He Doesn"t Hear No"

Ron Jeremy is the latest celebrity to be called out for alleged sexual assault. In a new Rolling Stone report, more than a dozen women came forward with accusations of impropriety spanning over 30 years. Related: Al Franken Accuser Leeann Tweeden Doesn't Want The Senator To Step Down Actress Jennifer Steele claimed the 64-year-old raped her twice, once [...] Ron Jeremy is the latest celebrity to be called out for alleged sexual assault. In a new Rolling Stone report, more than a dozen women came forward with accusations of impropriety spanning over 30 years. Related: Al Franken Accuser Leeann Tweeden Doesn't Want The Senator To Step Down Actress Jennifer Steele claimed the 64-year-old raped her twice, once at a photo shoot and another time at his apartment, in December of 1997. She told the mag of him allegedly cornering her in a bathroom: "He was like, 'I need to look at your ass so I can get hard for the photo shoot.' Then it turned into him basically sticking it in without me knowing it was happening. I said flat-out no. It stopped, but it didn't stop soon enough after I said no ... During the whole photo shoot I was thinking, 'Was I just raped? What the fuck just happened?' [But] by the time the shoot was done, I had it in my head that I had somehow exaggerated it and it was an honest mistake ... He just kinda keeps going and pretends like you didn't say anything." When asked why she didn't report the crime, Steele replied: "I was pretty promiscuous. I was a stripper. I couldn't prove it." Adding: "He hides behind other women's scarlet letters, is what he does. [He] know[s] if someone's a porn star and they say they've been raped, people aren't gonna take it seriously." Another adult performer, Kendra Sunderland, said Jeremy sucked her breasts without permission at a Dallas expo in 2015: "People expect this from him. If I went and got mad on Twitter, people would say, 'That's Ron.' But if I said a fan did it, they'd say 'That's not OK, that's crossing a line.'" As you can probably imagine, it's very difficult for sex workers to come forward with their stories considering the stigma and gray areas that are involved when it comes to being in the adult entertainment industry. Not to mention, sex workers who come forward are "likely to be blamed or disbelieved by law enforcement." With that said, Rolling Stone spoke with several people in the industry who said Jeremy's behavior is not standard. Popular performer Julia Ann said: "I think Ron is an anomaly, and you'd be hard-pressed to say there's any other person who's been able to publicly sexually harass or assault people and get away with it. It's one thing for someone to do it in their hotel room or their condo or their office or their car, but he can do it in the middle of a convention ... When there are dollar signs involved, the lines [of consent] actually get drawn much more distinctly." In 2003, Jeremy was investigated for criminal sexual conduct after a fan alleged he held her down and raped her in his Michigan hotel room. Charges were not pressed. Also in 2003, performer Ginger Lynn said Jeremy raped her while they were on location shooting a film in 1983. In 2007, another fan told police the porn star reached inside her bra, pulled out her breast, and signed it without her permission at an expo in Miami. Jeremy told TMZ at the time: "I probably signed about 150 boobs that weekend, all of which I sign 'RJ' with a heart.'" There are just a handful of the many explosive accusations against Ron for years of abuse. Related: Sylvester Stallone Allegations Bring Half-Sister's Rape Claims Back Into The Spotlight In a statement to the magazine in response to the many allegations, Jeremy said in full: "Let me first say, that I'm fully in support of the women and men who have been coming forward about being sexually assaulted. These real predators need to be taken down. My reputation is currently being smeared by these old allegations that have already been investigated and dismissed. However, I understand how social change works, and if my reputation has to get a bit tarnished along the way for the better treatment of women, and men, so be it. I will be there to support all people, men and women, that have bravely come forward to attack this systemic problem. As for the allegations against me, these allegations have been online and in print for quite sometime. This is not new or breaking news. I'm shocked you guys are picking this up after it's been reported on over and over by other publications and has been proven over and over to be false. I have never and would never rape anyone. All serious allegations have been investigated by police and dismissed by judges, as have most of the accusations of "Groping". I have never been charged nor spent one day in court for any of this. And these are old allegations. Check, Anything about me appearing in court or in jail, is public record. I was only arrested 20 years ago when I was fighting for Freedom Of Speech with Hal Freeman. The police who looked into the groping charges have always said that they watch the video from the event or whatever and that I did nothing wrong or illegal. They then ask if I want to press charges against The people making false accusations. I never have. As for the charges of Groping, I say yes, I AM A GROPER. And by groper, I mean I get paid to show up to these shows, events, and photo shoots and touch the people and they touch me. I'm not the young stud I was, but I still draw a crowd. And we are talking about things that are within reason, in front of police officer's and security that are always there as well as the tons of cameras And the general public. But seriously, if you were going to be around Ron Jeremy, wouldn't you assume that I'd be a little bit touchy Feely? Yes. This is what I do for a living. I am not Kevin Spacey, Louis CK, Weinstein, or Cosby. For over 40 years fans and fellow performers pay money and wait in long lines to meet me. They want autographs, pictures, to flirt with me, physically grab me in different areas (usually my clothed penis), they ask me to touch them and many ask to have me sign their boobs. When I take photos with fans and other performers at these conventions, signings or events, I do sometimes kiss people on the lips or the cheek, sign boobs or whatever they want. There is "put on" flirting and touching for the photos. This is exactly what people pay me for at conventions. The female performers flirt and touch too. It's what we do. If you watch these videos that Ginger Banks put out of me "groping," you see that everyone in the videos is laughing and "groping" too. That I'm not running up to them, they come to me. If anyone was ever made to feel uncomfortable by ANY of our interactions, I'm deeply sorry. That was never my intention and it breaks my heart in half. I hope that everyone reading this keeps in mind that I do tons of these conventions and adult signings. I take pictures with about 500,000 people each all over the world and have every year, for 40 years. These touching complaints are the exact same thing everyone else stood in line for. They couldn't be happier. I have never raped anyone. If anyone continues those claims, that is defamation. I will sue them in court. I'm not saying that I never met these people or interacted with them. I don't remember most of them, how could I? I may have seen hundreds people on those days. A girl said that I took her into a back room at a convention? Now this I remember. No one pushed anyone anywhere, she and a girl friend of hers asked if they could come in to the back tent with me. "Back room" was actually a small tent where the performers went to relax and eat crafty. There were seven other people in the small tent including security guard. And we took some sexy photos with each other as people looked on or looked at their phones. If I did anything wrong, that security guard who works for the convention, would have taken me down and called the police. And someone claimed that in hedonism in Jamaica, which is a nudist swingers resort, I tried to massage their leg years ago? Why is this even in an article? I am very happy that the scum bags of the earth are being taken down. They deserve it. But these allegations are pure lies or buyers remorse. In 40 years, I've never been punched by a boyfriend or anyone ever. I have been heartbroken over these allegations. Not because it affects me or my business, I can take that, but because they are lies and there are actual women and men out there Who have been victims of serious sexual assault, and so on, that are trying to get their voices heard. Again, It does bother me that there might be women out there that had some buyers remorse after our interactions. But I did nothing wrong or out of the ordinary for these conventions or events. These events are supposed to be a fun time. That video that Ginger Banks made looks like a pro Ron Jeremy video if you turn off the sound. Everyone in the videos is having fun with me. This really is a non-story. However I'm glad I had a chance to speak my side." Thoughts??? SOUND OFF in the comments (below)! [Image via WENN.].....»»

10 Miserable Facts About Being Happy

Many of us are involved in a daily quest for happiness and why not? Life is best when we’re happy. Chilling with loved ones, doing our favorite hobby, dancing the night away, etc. they’re the things that memories are made of. Yet, there’s a dark side to happiness and here we have 10 miserable facts about being happy: Some People Cannot Ever Be Happy Happiness is a product of our environment, right? Well, to some extent it is true that what we’re doing or surrounded by can have a huge impact on our happiness. But the bad news for some people is that our ability to be happy is a genetic thing and some people just don’t have the happiness gene. In fact people who are really happy have two copies of that gene. People without it are generally unhappy. Holidays Don’t Make Us Happy You’d think that taking a vacation pretty much anywhere would boost your happiness levels but this, according to the latest research at least, isn’t the case. In a study of more than 1,500 vacations they discovered that in the vast majority of cases holidays don’t make us happy. In fact, they have very little impact on our overall happiness. The only exception to this depressing rule is that people who take “very relaxing” breaks do report a boost in their happiness. Other People Make Us Sad Actually this isn’t 100% true but research from “The Great Brain Experiment” showed that what makes us unhappy or happy isn’t interacting with other people. It’s having more in our lives than the people around us – if all the people you know appear to be doing better than you; you’ll be miserable. Conversely, if they’re all having a lousy time – you’ll be flying high. Our happiness is often relative to the background of happiness we’re exposed to. We’re Less Happy Than Ever Before We live in a world of endless opportunity, technological marvels and ever improving health and that’s making us miserable. Back in the 1970s when they first started to measure the background level of happiness in America people were much happier than when they measured that level in 2010. In fact, happiness has been on a constant decline since they first measured it. Maybe it’s the measuring that affects happiness? Or maybe life really is less enjoyable when you have much more choice in front of you? Some People Are Scared of Happiness While most people say they’d embrace happiness; there are many cultures in which there’s a distinct (and measurable) fear of happiness. If you were to visit India or Hong Kong, for example, you’d find that that happiness holds cultural stigma and people aren’t very keen on the idea – they’re happy-phobic if you like. Research also finds that people who are in an Islamic culture are likely to perceive sadness and hardship as necessary to commune properly with God and thus they too become happiness averse. So while people want to be happy – many will avoid the opportunity to actually be [...].....»»

Too busy watching Game of Thrones instead? Here's what you missed. The Kylie Cosmetics owner hates when people say her life is "perfect": "[I] laugh. In their face. Nobody has a perfect life. The only different thing about me, or out of the ordinary, really, is probably just that I have nice things. But what you realize when you get there -- when I know I could buy any car, any house -- is that that happiness lasts two seconds ... That's not my real happiness, that's not where I find happiness. I'm so blessed that I got to experience this at such a young age and learn that, so now I can find what really is going to make me happy." Related: Kylie's Butt -- An Evolution In Photos! The person you see pouting her lips for Instagram and Snapchat is NOT the real Kylie, apparently: "There's an image that I feel constantly pressured to keep up with. In order to stay relevant for the public, I have to be on Instagram and I have to be on Snapchat just keeping people entertained. And then there's who I really am around my friends. That's who I want you guys to get to know ... It's way easier for me to post on Snapchat or Instagram than it is to be out in public. I just feel like for so long I've been putting on this different persona to the world — I felt like I started to depend on social media, feeling the need to post all the time. I feel like I have to keep up this idea of who I am." Miz Jenner admits she became a more diluted version of herself after receiving a ton of negative feedback online: "I think I lost a lot of parts of myself. My funny side — when I was 14 I used to post all these funny videos all the time, just me being like, super weird and funny and myself. I feel like once I started getting a little bit bigger, then people really started to … everyone says mean things sometimes, it's just how social media is — it's a really mean, negative space ... Every single day I see something negative about me. When that started happening, that really affected me. So I was like: ‘I'm not going to show people that side of me anymore.' I'm kind of putting up a version of myself to the world that isn't fully me." From being home-schooled to only being able to take private jets, Kris Jenner's youngest daughter says growing up on TV has cost her a "normal" life: "I had to get home-schooled, not really because I wanted to but because I missed so much school because I was working. It's hard to feel normal. Because I always want to feel normal, that's the goal in my life ... I started filming Keeping Up with the Kardashians when I was 9 years old. I really don't know what it's like to not have everyone know who I am. I don't know what it's like to live a normal life, where people just don't know who you are, to get out of the car and not have everyone stare at you. I feel like when you grow up on camera, people think that they know you because you're on social media so much and you're on reality TV." She added: "I for sure didn't choose this life, but I'm not going to say that I'm totally innocent, because I am keeping up this lifestyle. I know I'm making myself more famous by having an Instagram and posting photos, but I'm not that type of person where I want all the attention. I don't like that. It actually freaks me out, because it reminds me that I'm ‘Kylie f—ing Jenner' ... A lot of people have it worse than me. It's just it is a lot to handle. Sometimes, I'm like: ‘This is it. I'm going insane.' I feel like this fame thing is going to come to an end sooner than we think. I'm getting the bug again, where I just want to run away. I just don't know who I'm doing it for." Do we feel bad for her? Are we watching this show?? Let us know in the comments (below)! In the meantime, ch-ch-check out some of Twitter's best reactions (below)! That’s a Wrap: The Week in Movie News

Get the latest movie casting and development news. Deadline reports that directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller have exited the Han Solo movie in the middle of filming. Not long over the move was made, it was announced that Ron Howard would step in to direct the film. The next Jurassic World movie now has a title. A new poster arrived online via Twitter touting Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which is expected during the summer of 2018. NBC Universal President Michael Edelstein reports that there is a Downton Abbey movie in the works. “It’s been in the works for some time. We are working on getting the script right and we’ve got to figure out how to get the [cast] together,” stated Edelstein. It’s his hope that the film will start shooting next year. Kyle Chandler and Ryan Gosling will co-star in First Man, the new film about Neil Armstrong’s moon landing. Gosling’s La La Land director Damien Chazelle will oversee the film. Gosling plays Armstrong, while Chandler plays Deke Slayton, one of the original NASA Mercury Seven astronauts. Deadline reports that the Joel Edgerton-written and starring film Boy Erased has been picked up by Focus Features. The film tells the story of a teen boy (Lucas Hedges) who is the son of a Baptist preacher who is outed to his parents and pressured into attending a gay conversion camp. Russell Crowe and Nicole Kidman reportedly being courted for supporting roles. Ben Kingsley has joined the cast of Operation Finale, the Chris Weitz-directed film about the hunt and capture of Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann. Deadline reports that Kingsley will play Eichmann opposite Oscar Isaac’s Peter Malkin, the leader of an Israeli spy group tasked with hunting down Eichmann. It’s a Nightcrawler reunion. Writer-director Dan Gilroy is tapping leading man Jake Gyllenhaal and leading woman Rene Russo in a still untitled film set in the art world. It’s the year of Carrie Coon! On the heels of the season (and possible series) finales of Fargo and The Leftovers, the actress has joined the cast of Widows, the film centering on the wives of three robbers who decide to finish their husband’s job after they get killed during a heist. Viola Davis, Elizabeth Debicki and Michelle Rodriguez also star in the film. Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively are in talks to star in A Simple Favor. Deadline reports that Paul Feig will direct the thriller which starts shooting in Toronto in August. The movie centers on a mommy blogger whose best friend suddenly vanishes. Emily Ratajkowski feels pretty. The model-turned-actress has joined the cast of the Amy Schumer-starring film I Feel Pretty. The comedy also has cast Michelle Williams and Rafe Spall. The last piece of the cast has been set for the ensemble film Tag. Leslie Bibb is joining the film, which centers on a group of friends who have become the focus of a Wall Street Journal article after playing a game of tag for over 30 years. Jeremy Renner, Ed Helms, Jon Hamm, Jake Johnson, Hannibal Buress, Annabelle Wallis, Rashida Jones and Isla Fisher have also been cast. Deadline reports that Eli Roth will direct The House With a Clock in Its Walls for Amblin Entertainment, with Jack Black attached to star. The film is based on a series of books, with this particular story centering on a recently orphaned boy who discovers a world of hidden passages and mystery in his uncle’s old house. Neve Campbell will star opposite Dwayne Johnson in the new film Skyscraper. The 3D action thriller has Johnson as a former FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader who assesses the security for skyscrapers. While on the job in China, he discovers one of the tallest buildings on fire and himself being framed for it. It makes for a harrowing day in which he must escape capture while still trying to save a family trapped above the fire line. Sadly, now we're hearing one from Lupita Nyong'o. Related: All 45+ Women Who Have Accused Harvey Weinstein So Far The Black Panther actress opened up in a lengthy New York Times op-ed on Thursday, in which she says she felt "a flare of rage" in learning how many women had been through what she had: "I had shelved my experience with Harvey far in the recesses of my mind, joining in the conspiracy of silence that has allowed this predator to prowl for so many years. I had felt very much alone when these things happened, and I had blamed myself for a lot of it, quite like many of the other women who have shared their stories. But now that this is being discussed openly, I have not been able to avoid the memories resurfacing. I have felt sick in the pit of my stomach." Here is her story: "I met Harvey Weinstein in 2011 at an awards ceremony in Berlin, while I was still a student at the Yale School of Drama. An intermediary introduced him to me as "the most powerful producer in Hollywood." As an aspiring actress, I was of course eager to meet people in the industry but cautious about strangers, and the intentions of men in general." She asked her dinner companions about Harvey and was given the typical response that he could be "a bully" -- which meant it was better to have him in her corner than against her. Ultimately she says he was somewhat "charming" despite his directness, and that "he didn't alarm" her at first. So when he invited her to watch a screening of a film with his family at his home in Connecticut -- near where she was living in New Haven -- she accepted. Related: Channing Tatum Cuts All Ties With The Weinstein Company His family was actually there, at least. But when they all gathered to watch the film, that's when Harvey pounced: "I settled in for the film, but about 15 minutes in, Harvey came for me, saying he wanted to show me something. I protested that I wanted to finish the film first, but he insisted I go with him, laying down the law as though I too was one of his children." In his home with his children there. Ick. "Harvey led me into a bedroom — his bedroom — and announced that he wanted to give me a massage. I thought he was joking at first. He was not. For the first time since I met him, I felt unsafe. I panicked a little and thought quickly to offer to give him one instead: It would allow me to be in control physically, to know exactly where his hands were at all times... He agreed to this and lay on the bed. I began to massage his back to buy myself time to figure out how to extricate myself from this undesirable situation. Before long he said he wanted to take off his pants. I told him not to do that and informed him that it would make me extremely uncomfortable. He got up anyway to do so and I headed for the door, saying that I was not at all comfortable with that. 'If we're not going to watch the film, I really should head back to school,' I said. I opened the door and stood by the frame. He put his shirt on and again mentioned how stubborn I was. I agreed with an easy laugh, trying to get myself out of the situation safely. I was after all on his premises, and the members of his household, the potential witnesses, were all (strategically, it seems to me now) in a soundproof room." That time, Lupita was able to leave somewhat easily enough. She says she even justified the massage request to herself, though it helped that Harvey had enticed her with the possibility of a job (on an HBO show she later found out was already off the air). But she was still uneasy with Harvey, so when he invited her to a reading of the play version of Finding Neverland, she politely refused -- until he told her she could bring anyone she wanted. She attended with two male friends. Related: Quentin Tarantino Knew Harvey 'Did A Couple Of These Things'! Nothing untoward happened the entire evening, including when a large group went out for dinner and drinks. So the next time he invited her to a screening -- this time of Madonna's film W.E. -- she accepted. "Feeling more confident about the new sense of boundaries that we had established in our last meeting, I attended the screening on my own this time. Afterward, as planned, his male assistant arranged for me to get to the Tribeca Grill, where Harvey would be joining us. I met a female assistant when I arrived there. I was expecting that it would be a group of us, as it had been for the reading, but she informed me it would just be Mr. Weinstein. She would sit with me until he arrived. She seemed on edge, but I could only imagine how stressful it was to work for a man who had so much going on." As with other stories we've heard, the assistant "immediately disappeared" after Harvey arrived. And this time he was direct: "Before the starters arrived, he announced: 'Let's cut to the chase. I have a private room upstairs where we can have the rest of our meal.' I was stunned. I told him I preferred to eat in the restaurant. He told me not to be so naïve. If I wanted to be an actress, then I had to be willing to do this sort of thing. He said he had dated Famous Actress X and Y and look where that had gotten them. I was silent for a while before I mustered up the courage to politely decline his offer. 'You have no idea what you are passing up,' he said. 'With all due respect, I would not be able to sleep at night if I did what you are asking, so I must pass,' I replied." That's when Lupita knew Harvey was through with her; she asked him if they were good and recalls his chilling response: "'I don't know about your career, but you'll be fine,' he said. It felt like both a threat and a reassurance at the same time; of what, I couldn't be sure." Lupita made a vow to herself never to work with Weinstein, a vow she kept when he tried to entice her following her Oscar win for 12 Years A Slave. Related: LAPD Opens Harvey Weinstein Rape Investigation She explains why she's telling her story now -- for all the women who are like she was: "I share all of this now because I know now what I did not know then. I was part of a growing community of women who were secretly dealing with harassment by Harvey Weinstein. But I also did not know that there was a world in which anybody would care about my experience with him. You see, I was entering into a community that Harvey Weinstein had been in, and even shaped, long before I got there. He was one of the first people I met in the industry, and he told me, "This is the way it is." And wherever I looked, everyone seemed to be bracing themselves and dealing with him, unchallenged. I did not know that things could change. I did not know that anybody wanted things to change. So my survival plan was to avoid Harvey and men like him at all costs, and I did not know that I had allies in this." She concludes: "Now that we are speaking, let us never shut up about this kind of thing. I speak up to make certain that this is not the kind of misconduct that deserves a second chance. I speak up to contribute to the end of the conspiracy of silence. Amen, sister. You can read her full op-ed HERE. [Image via Apega/Michael Wright/WENN.].....»»

Bachelor In Paradise Finally Addresses The Corinne Olympios & DeMario Jackson Drama — Race "Absolutely" Played A Part

On night two of the Bachelor in Paradise premiere on Tuesday, ABC showed some of the story between DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios before the controversial hookup -- but more interestingly, Chris Harrison sat down with the cast for a discussion about race, sexual consent, and whether or not the show should resume. It's not every day these conversations pop up on reality TV, but we're still curious to know if this was just a desperate attempt for Warner Bros. to prove they aren't liable. Related: Jimmy Kimmel's Baby Bachelor In Paradise Returns! ANYWAY, we'll let you be the judge. -- Harrison asked the remaining cast members if they trusted the outside firm's conclusion that there was "no evidence of misconduct by cast on the set," to which Raven Gates responded: "I was confident that nothing happened between DeMario and Corinne that was bad. I trusted everyone that worked here, so I knew everything was going to be okay." Adding: "My biggest worry was for not only production, because I felt like they were kinda blamed. My worry was for DeMario and Corrine because we knew what happened, but it was so unfair the way that people were speaking about DeMario and the blame he was getting and the horrible things said to him and Corinne both — it broke my heart because I thought no matter if everything is cleared up, people are still going to associate something bad happening with Corinne and DeMario." Alex Woytkiw chimed in: "I think there was a lot in the media regarding the producers as if they're not our friends and they're just using us to make us do things like we're going to just do whatever they say." Derek Peth added: "I think there's a weird perception that exists out there that we're not in control of ourselves when we're here. … We all know how realistic the friendships are with and among the cast. … We are here to make our own decisions and develop real relationships with everybody." Taylor Nolan (Corinne's arch-nemesis from Nick Viall's season who doesn't drink) dished: "We're responsible for ourselves and the things we say, how much we drink, who we kiss. We're all adults here. We're not here to be babysat by production." "Diggy" Moreland expressed his concern for DeMario's future: "Obviously everything came out clean, but I empathize with DeMario a lot more just because I mean obviously we had a black male, white female. But he has 20-30 years of Google searches that are going to be done in his name. I'm thinking of the long-term effects and I was really pissed about that." -- Chris then asked the contestants if they thought race "played a part" in the whole debacle, to which everyone responded with a bevy of "yes," "for sure," and "absolutely" answers. Raven explained: "I'm sensitive to it because I'm from the South and we have a stigma that we're seeing a white woman with a black man is wrong. And that night, what happened wasn't wrong. And so I was super empathetic with DeMario because it's just another issue. Not only is consent important, but it's also to get rid of the stigma that interracial couples can't be or blaming African American men for crimes they didn't commit." Jasmine Goode said of her outrage over what happened: "I was just thinking the whole time: what if this happened to my brother? He's a great guy from the guy I met here … and I never felt he was aggressive with any of us. … I just hate that he's going to have this image stuck with him for a while." -- Then there was the other important topic of conversation: slut-shaming. Raven voiced again: "I think for me and Jasmine, when we were kind of vocal about sticking up for DeMario, people automatically assumed we were slut-shaming Corinne and that was not the case at all. We felt for her. It was never calling her any names or judging her for anything she did. Because we didn't think she did anything wrong and neither did DeMario." Nick's runner-up then continued by bravely opening up about her own experience of being sexually assaulted: "A lot of people don't know this that I was in a very abusive relationship and there was a point where I was sexually assaulted and so I guess that's why I took this kind of really personally. So I hope this situation doesn't deter actual victims from coming forward and really speaking their truth and getting help and asking for help. I hope this doesn't deter anybody." -- Lastly, Harrison brought up sexual consent. The TV personality said: "One of the topics that this has raised and something we should talk about is consent … 'How do you know when someone has given consent when you are getting intimate with somebody?' and 'If somebody is passed out, unresponsive, can they give consent? If somebody is drunk, can they give consent?' ... The purpose of Paradise and what I'm hoping for all of you — and I'm sure you're all hoping — is to fall in love here. Part of falling in love is physical intimacy. That's a big part of any serious relationship. But for while you're here, please keep consent issues in mind and actually that goes for forever, but it definitely should be something we all talk talk about and something we all think about." After the sit-down, everyone agreed to resume partying on the beach -- and we even got to see Carly Waddell and Evan Bass tie the knot! In a new interview with ET, DeMario said he feels "vindicated" now that his name was cleared on BIP. He explained: "I feel like they rolled enough of the tape. You can't show too much, because that's gonna disrespect Corinne and I, and I just feel like it wouldn't be the best or the classiest thing to do. But, they showed enough" Adding: "The public, they need to see something. I think they just needed to see [that] she's lucid. I'm lucid. We're swimming around. We're having fun. We're friends. It wasn't like I'm some predator who was at the bar waiting for the girl to get extremely drunk, then I'm like, 'Oops! Let me pounce on her.' No, it was very mutual and, in fact, she was a little bit of the aggressor in it, and I love how they painted the picture and the story of us actually talking, mingling, getting to know each other ... I do wish [they explained more], Like, that very moment of us getting into the pool and everything, that's when we had kinda got, you know, a little more cozier, so to speak. Everything happened and then we were just finished." One of the things that made him most upset about this whole ordeal was the effect it had on his family: "I feel guilty, because my mom didn't sign up for this, and she's been getting harassed, people tweeting at her, on her Instagram saying, 'Your son's a rapist.' That was the part I was most sad about. I feel like I created this for my family, in a sense, by being a little reckless. And I just want to say I'm sorry to them." And: "The human race failed me, because instead of waiting to see what happened, people were already painting me as this horrible villain, and they were slut-shaming Corinne, and it wasn't the case. It was just very, like, 'Oh, Corinne was like this in a past season. So, she's like this, and DeMario is black, and the media has portrayed African Americans like this for so many years, so he's that'... Do you guys not think about the people whose lives you're ruining?" There was even a moment that left Jackson -- who confessed to losing over 20 pounds and sought a therapist after the scandal -- feeling "suicidal, but not like the suicidal that you might think": "I never thought, 'Oh, I'm gonna kill myself,' but it crossed my mind. I remember just talking to my mom, like, 'My life's over. Like, I don't even want to live anymore.' And she, like, lost it." Wow. We're just so happy this whole thing is over. The ex-wife of the late Chester Bennington says that she was "disgusted" by the fact she and their 15-year-old son Draven were basically cut out of the Linkin Park singer's funeral services. Related: Linkin Park Announces 'Public Event' In Los Angeles To Honor Chester In a lengthy Facebook post, Samantha calls out specific events such as the fact they weren't allowed to speak, and that there was only one photo of Draven anywhere, and that none of his family was mentioned anywhere in the programs (which she says looked like "a cheap happy hour menu." She also says she and her guests were purposely not included in an "after bowling celebration" following the service. According to Samantha, organizers had no interest in honoring all of Chester's life, only the "12 years" they were a part of. And she has some harsh words for the unnamed persons responsible: "I hope you like capitalizing on his death .. karma is real. I send you back all your energy to you a thousand time folds! Look in the mirror, I hope you like what you see. Business is business but I see Zero Love.." Wow. Though she never says exactly who is responsible, she does mention that Draven was "never treated equally by T," presumably Chester's wife Talenda. You can read the entire angry rant (below): "I have been a lady, I have kept my mouth shut. I hold my head up high but as my head starts to lower I'm not in my own truth. Today I speak & I'm not looking for conflict but I will not sit on my hands any longer. Today Dra is staying home with me. Yesterday was too soon. We have many thoughts & emotions on how everything & everything by all of his "wrecking crew" involved is handling this. We want to speak with the suicide foundation. We want to help others. My son & I have not had an opportunity to speak not even at his funeral ( that only represented his life that he was married to his new wife) no photos but one of him anywhere, it was more like checking into KROQ's Weinie Roast Festival. Dra was never treated equally by T & never wanted to go there because of that. Now because he doesn't want to go into the home where his father's suicide took place, the rumors of me keeping my son from his siblings couldn't be further from the truth! How was that dinner we all met at??? Oh thanks for not honoring the one wish my son had by sharing his prayer with his siblings & throwing the rose quarts into the ocean with him. Thank you for not giving me or my 31 guests any knowledge of we're the "after bowling celebration was" oh & your phone calls hours later wondering were we were lmfao still never mentioned where to go, name of place or address, it was a disgusting delusional display on all people who spoke at the funeral & their characters. Never mentioning a man who grew up from a little boy and loved many things, becoming a rock star was just one thing! We're were photos of him,? why did the program look like a cheap happy hour menu?! I'm so disgusted on so many levels! Their were many friends & family that should have been there but when you turn a funeral into reducing someone's life into only 12 years that's what you get! His parents both were not there (meaning his dad-both parents) mother was there for clarification , & his parents were not mentioned in the program, his siblings were not mentioned, the mothers of his children were not mentioned, even his own children were not listed on the program! There should have been photos of all of us together with our kids & separate. I'm so glad I have all the paper work to back up every judgement etc. especially the judgements that chester did protecting Dra so that our son went there when his dad was home only! Yes, in the end we are completely grateful to that judge. My ex told me & shared a lot with Dra & I. I won't lie to my son for you or anyone. His dad told us both to our face everything when we were out to dinner, at our new home, etc. I'm sure he may of told us all what we would want to hear to get us all off his back. It doesn't matter if I'm ex wife or new wife or ex girlfriend. He choose to be with all of us, have children, & this isn't a blaming game. He is ultimately responsible. However, You all forget the sacrifice my husband & I made financially & keeping peoples positions in place when we we were young and participate making LP even happen. Shame on you!! The truth on every level will come out. We haven't had the opportunity to honor his dad properly for his life time, & the lack of respect & honesty is just disgusting! We do not have a place to go or even any of his ashes!!! You want my son to have some of his things, then give him something you feel is meaningful, do not force him to go into that house he is 15 and even from a year from now I don't think things will change. All our doctors, friends, & family are supporting my son & his choice, this is Draven my son not yours. He would rather not have a jacket from his dad then have you force him to go into that home. Thank you for returning the crystal draven gave him on his birthday this April from Buddha Matrea. Yes, Bali, Healing's, meditation, therapist, yoga & fitness instructors!! We are filling up ourselves with healthiest ways possible. We need all of this especially now. We know why your the way you are & say the things you say. Your afraid the truth will come out. I'm not speaking to just one person. I hope you like capitalizing on his death .. karma is real. I send you back all your energy to you a thousand time folds! Look in the mirror, I hope you like what you see. Business is business but I see Zero Love.. Therapy even on weekends,,, whatever it takes. The frustration is really on so many levels! We know who are friends & family are so if your offended ., good then you read this & it applies!" [Image via Facebook/Ricky Swift/WENN.].....»»

As you may know, the 45-year-old actor is currently on a press tour for Justice League -- but interviewers would be remiss to not bring up Affleck's connection to the Harvey Weinstein allegations, as well as his own controversial behavior. On Thursday night, the father of three appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, who didn't hesitate to ask Affleck the tough questions about the clear abuse of power against women in the industry. Even though the celeb nervously quipped, "This is a comedy show, correct?" initially, we applaud him for not shying away -- and encouraging everyone to believe the women (and men!) coming forward. Related: The Justice League Reviews Are In When asked specifically about the disgraced producer who helped begin his career, Jennifer Garner's ex said: "You know, for me, it was awful to see the extent of these terrible crimes. It was hideous. I haven't worked for Harvey in more than 15 years, but nonetheless, I felt this attachment. I did movies like Good Will Hunting, Shakespeare in Love and Chasing Amy—early movies that I really loved doing, when I still was totally brand new. And so, it sort of tainted that a little bit to realize while we were having these experiences and making these movies, there were people who were suffering and dealing with awful experiences. I didn't really know what to do with that, you know? It's hard to know." As we reported, the actor has since decided to donate his residual money from Miramax movies to RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) and Film Independent: "I didn't want to sort of cash a check form the guy, and I thought, 'Maybe I can feel OK about it if it's going to a good cause.'" Colbert went on to give Affleck the opportunity to comment on his own allegations of "sexual impropriety" -- to which the Argo star said: "What I was accused of by a woman was of touching her breast while giving her a hug. I don't remember it, but I absolutely apologized for it. I certainly don't think she's lying or making it up. It's just the kind of thing we have to, as men, I think, as we become more aware of this, be really, really mindful of our behavior and hold ourselves accountable and say, 'If I was ever part of the problem, I want to change. I want to be part of the solution.' And to not shy away from these awkward or strange encounters we might have had where we're sort of navigating and not knowing." Referencing a clip that went viral earlier this week, Affleck said: "I just did an interview where somebody asked me a question—it was a serious question, and I kind of felt uncomfortable and didn't know what to say and laughed awkwardly. It's just a tricky thing to try to handle. I think the most important thing to do is to support the voices coming forward, believe them, and create a business where more women are empowered and in place so less of this happens, and so there is a way of reporting this stuff so that people can feel safe doing it." The Oscar winner also acknowledged the privilege he has as a male in the business, explaining: "I thought I had a sense of the scope of the problem and I thought I understood it, and the truth is I really didn't. I didn't understand what it's like to be groped, to be harassed, to be interrupted, talked over, paid less, you know, pushed around, belittled—all the things that women deal with, that for me as a man, I have the privilege of not having to deal with. Part of this, for me, has been listening to people I really care about and love as they tell me stories of stuff that has happened to them—this is men and women—and recognizing it's a real thing. I'm not spokesman. I'm not a superhero. I can't change it by myself. I can just be accountable for myself and my actions." LOUDER FOR THOSE IN THE BACK, BEN!! You can watch the full segment (below): Ben spoke about the same issue on Friday morning with Savannah Guthrie by talking about the current cultural shift because of the courageous #MeToo movement: "It certainly feels like a really important moment. It feels like a time when survivors are finding their voice, and people—and I include include myself in this—are really discovering the terrible extent of this problem here in our country. I certainly don't think it's just limited to Hollywood. But I expect if you see it this prevalent in this industry, it must extend to finance, tech and all those other places, and it's really disturbing. It's also inspiring to see people come forward and assert themselves. That's very moving." As for whether he knew about Harvey's disgusting behavior, the director said: "I knew he was sleazy and kind of a bully, but unfortunately that wasn't that uncommon. I was brand new to Hollywood. I was 24 years old. I had never made a movie. I didn't know much of anything, really. It really is a shame, because although I stopped working with Harvey a long time ago, those movies hold a special place in my heart. To now look back on it and think, 'Gosh, some other people were going through something really ugly, difficult and terrible and disturbing and terrifying while that was happening,' is kind of...I don't know ... The only thing I can think to do is give my residuals from my Harvey movies to a couple of organizations that I think are making a difference, and try to reconcile that. It's a way for me to feel better about that early stage of my career, when I made those movies with him." When Guthrie asked Affleck to set the record straight about Rose McGowan's claim that she told Ben in the past about being attacked by Weinstein, he replied: "I don't really want to get into other people's individual stories, because I feel like those are their stories and they're entitled to tell as much or as little of those as they want. I believe Rose. I support her. I really like and admire her tenacity, and I wish her the best." Related: Jennifer Garner & Casey Affleck Helped Ben Check Into Rehab Ultimately, Ben said he's dedicated to "looking inward" and being accountable for his actions: "That's all you can do, certainly as a man in my position and recognizing how fortunate I am, recognizing the privilege that I have. I'm also really trying to open my eyes and hold myself accountable, because that's all we can really do. It's a lot harder than pointing a finger at everybody else, really asking, 'What have I done that's crossed the line? How can I do better? How can I be more respectful, more inclusive, more mindful of this?' That's the kind of person that I want to be." As for what he would have done differently, the A-lister admitted: "There's plenty of jokes I wouldn't have made, or things I wouldn't have done. It's a time when—and it's happened almost overnight—there's a heightened level of awareness. One of the good things about that is the self-consciousness of, 'How am I fitting into the world here? How are my actions affecting other people? How is this interaction going to leave this person feeling?' It's easy to sort of gloss over that stuff and get self-involved. The hard thing is really, as I said, to be mindful and live in the present moment." Watch his interview on TODAY (below): While we think Ben's past actions are inexcusable, we do appreciate him stepping into the dialogue and acknowledging his wrongdoing head-on, while calling for empowerment of women. These are the tough conversations we should all be having! P.S. to end on a light note, watch Ben reveal that Donald Trump would demand to appear in any movies filmed at his properties (lol) (below)!
