It wouldn’t be a surprise to see O’Brien, who also showed he had romantic comedy chops opposite Britt Robertson in The First Time, become one of Hollywood’s go-to leading me in the years to come. Though a serious injury on Maze Runner: The Death Cure nearly derailed his career, O’Brien has nothing but appreciation for his experience with the production and he’s definitely going to miss his working relationship with the cast and crew. “It’s not hitting me yet,” said O’Brien. “I don’t know when it will. It’s not going to for a little bit I don’t think but I’m going to miss it. I’m going to have major Maze Runner withdrawals but I just couldn’t be happier that it happened. It’s been the luckiest experience a guy can ask for.” Click on the media bar to hear O’Brien why having a great reaction from the fans would be an “icing on the cake” for Maze Runner: The Death Cure. O’Brien spent six months recovering before ultimately returning to work to make last year’s American Assassin. In March 2017 the actor was back to shoot Death Cure in South Africa, and thankfully his career is back in full swing. “Reuniting on each one every time, it’s hilarious,” said O’Brien. “It’s just really exciting. I turn to like a little kid in a way because we’ve all gone on to, in between these films, had years of growing up. We’re in a our mid to late 20s now . . . and I find myself becoming my little crazy energetic self who sprinted up to (co-star Thomas Brodie-Sangster) the first day of production on the first one - I just wanted to meet him so bad. Just that excitement and energy that we all created with each other on the first movie that just kind of snaps right back in.” Click on the media bar to hear O’Brien talk about the joys of working with his Maze Runner family: Maze Runner: The Death Cure opens nationwide January 26. Dylan Farrow Calls Out Hollywood For Supporting Woody Allen Despite Her Longstanding Claims He Molested Her As A Child

While the #MeToo movement has sparked the takedowns of many powerful predators in Hollywood, one accuser has still not seen the justice she has so long deserved. That accuser is Woody Allen's daughter Dylan Farrow, who called out Hollywood stars for continuing to work with the iconic filmmaker despite her longstanding allegation that he molested her [...] While the #MeToo movement has sparked the takedowns of many powerful predators in Hollywood, one accuser has still not seen the justice she has so long deserved. That accuser is Woody Allen's daughter Dylan Farrow, who called out Hollywood stars for continuing to work with the iconic filmmaker despite her longstanding allegation that he molested her as a child in 1992. Related: Harvey Weinstein Accused Of Racketeering To Cover Up Assaults In an op-ed for the Los Angeles Times, Dylan blasted stars like Kate Winslet, Blake Lively, and Greta Gerwig for condemning the actions of Harvey Weinstein while keeping silent about the claims surrounding the Annie Hall director, whom they have all worked with over the past few years. In the piece titled Why Has The #MeToo Revolution Spared Woody Allen?, the subject's adopted daughter wrote: "We are in the midst of a revolution. From allegations against studio heads and journalists, to hotel maids recounting abuses on the job, women are exposing the truth and men are losing their jobs. But the revolution has been selective." Allen has repeatedly denied Dylan's allegations, suggesting that her mother Mia Farrow planted false memories in her brain out of bitterness (claims that Dylan denies). The allegations were investigated by sex-abuse experts at Yale-New Haven Hospital and no charges were ever filed. Related: Alec Baldwin Doesn't Want 'Innocent People' Hurt By Hollywood's Sexual Misconduct Problem Despite all that, Dylan maintains the filmmaker's "pattern of inappropriate behavior" with her says it all, continuing: "Allen denies my allegations. But this is not a "he said, child said" situation. Allen's pattern of inappropriate behavior — putting his thumb in my mouth, climbing into bed with me in his underwear, constant grooming and touching — was witnessed by friends and family members. At the time of the alleged assault, he was in therapy for his conduct towards me. Three eyewitnesses substantiated my account, including a babysitter who saw Allen with his head buried in my lap after he had taken off my underwear. Allen refused to take a polygraph administered by the Connecticut state police." No other allegations of sexual misconduct have come out against Allen, but Dylan says her accusation shouldn't be invalidated or ignored just because it is "still just too complicated, too difficult, too ‘dangerous,' to use [Blake] Lively's term, to confront." Related: Lorde Totally Predicted Hollywood's Predator Purge! Reiterating her claims -- not a word of which have changed over the years -- to an audience that now believes victims, she added: "I have long maintained that when I was 7 years old, Woody Allen led me into an attic, away from the babysitters who had been instructed never to leave me alone with him. He then sexually assaulted me. I told the truth to the authorities then, and I have been telling it, unaltered, for more than 20 years. Why is it that Harvey Weinstein and other accused celebrities have been cast out by Hollywood, while Allen recently secured a multimillion-dollar distribution deal with Amazon, greenlit by former Amazon Studios executive Roy Price before he was suspended over sexual misconduct allegations? Allen's latest feature, Wonder Wheel, was released theatrically on Dec. 1." Wow. Time to cough up an actual response, Kate... Allen had no comment on Dylan's LA Times piece, but his rep released the following statement to EW: "Dylan Farrow's allegations against Woody Allen, which she first made 25 years ago, have been thoroughly examined by law enforcement officials and child welfare investigators. The investigators concluded unambiguously that Dylan Farrow was not sexually abused. No charges were ever filed, and the reason is simple: because Woody Allen is innocent." We'll see if that holds up. Read Dylan's full op-ed HERE. [Image via Dennis Van Tine/Future Image/WENN.].....»»

He added, “I ultimately decided that I wanted to try it and I didn’t want to let it go.[American Assassin] ended up being really instrumental in the whole process.” “At the time that I came in…I was still at the very end of recovery there when I started, so that was probably the biggest challenge. All the training was very good for my mind and very good for recovery, in a way…It really ended up being [therapeutic]. It came at a great time for me,” Dylan said......»»

On Thursday, Dylan Farrow -- who has publicly accused her father Woody Allen of sexual abuse -- gives her first TV interview about the allegations on CBS This Morning. Related: Mira Sorvino Vows To NEVER Work With Woody Again In the preview posted on Wednesday, the 32-year-old tells Gayle King she hopes her story will create positive change in our post-#MeToo world. She exclaims: "I am credible, and I am telling the truth, and I think it's important that people realize that one victim, one accuser, matters, and that they are enough to change things." When Ronan Farrow's sister is asked about her motives, Dylan is unapologetic about wanting "to bring [Allen] down." She continues: "Why shouldn't I want to bring him down? Why shouldn't I be angry? Why shouldn't I be hurt? Why shouldn't I feel some sort of outrage that after all these years being ignored and disbelieved and tossed aside?" Amid the controversy, stars of the director's upcoming movie A Rainy Day in New York -- including Selena Gomez, Timothée Chalamet, and Rebecca Hall -- have donated money to Time's Up Legal Defense Fund. WATCH the full interview (below) as Dylan details the alleged sexual assault: Allen has since responded to CBS This Morning's sit down with Dylan, as he released the following statement: "When this claim was first made more than 25 years ago, it was thoroughly investigated by both the Child Sexual Abuse Clinic of the Yale-New Haven Hospital and New York State Child Welfare. They both did so for many months and independently concluded that no molestation had ever taken place. Instead, they found it likely a vulnerable child had been coached to tell the story by her angry mother during a contentious breakup. Dylan's older brother Moses has said that he witnessed their mother doing exactly that – relentlessly coaching Dylan, trying to drum into her that her father was a dangerous sexual predator. It seems to have worked – and, sadly, I'm sure Dylan truly believes what she says. But even though the Farrow family is cynically using the opportunity afforded by the Time's Up movement to repeat this discredited allegation, that doesn't make it any more true today than it was in the past. I never molested my daughter – as all investigations concluded a quarter of a century ago." It appears the estrangement between the Farrows and Allen is a permanent one. [Image via CBS.].....»»

Brave and exacting to a fault, Mitch is determined to take out as many terrorists, and it’s up to Cold War veteran Stan Hurley (Michael Keaton) to teach him how to efficiently channel that anger and complete the mission. “Part of the arc of this character that I always loved was that kind of learning curve,” said O’Brien. “He always thinks the revenge factor - the vengeance - will always be the answer and that will ultimately be what heals him . . . he has, at some point, learn about himself too - this thing he went through, it’s never going to leave him.” Click on the media bar below to hear O’Brien talk about the benefits of working with Keaton: American Assassin opens nationwide September 15. ICYMI, production on the dystopian action film was immediately shut down last year after the 26-year-old suffered a concussion, facial fracture, and lacerations after falling to the ground performing a motorcycle stunt. In a new interview with the SF Chronicle, the Teen Wolf actor opened up about how the serious incident helped hm understand his role in the new film American Assassin. Related: Mandy Moore Got A Black Eye & Stitches From A Shower Door Handle Recalling the moment he flew face first into another vehicle, Dylan said: "I had a severe concussion and brain trauma. I basically broke this whole side of my face. I had to have facial reconstructive surgery. Got plates in there now. I thought that was just it, that my face was never gonna look the same again." Adding: "I now look at the experience as having gotten away really luckily. A, just walking away from it. And B, getting this great doctor who took care of me and really fixed me up." And now playing a CIA black ops man in the latest flick, he was challenged with the physicality of the role given his injuries: "This was definitely tackling it head-on. I also felt more connected to the character in a way, and more informed than I ever could have been — at the same time, I was terrified to do it ... That strength comes, in a way, from having survived these traumatic incidents. Obviously, it's not every one of those guys, but I felt really connected to that." During filming, O'Brien admitted he had good and bad days: "I would have good days and bad days. Some days, I would show up to the gym, and my trainer would sense I was … in this place, you know? Not a good one. I would randomly have very doubtful days and panicky moments of just wanting to bow out. I had to constantly push through them. Even when I was leaving for the film. I had a pretty severe panic episode an hour before my flight — to the point where I didn't even know if they'd let me on the plane. But I always had a lot of support. ... My dad came with me on that flight. I don't think I would have been able to do it; he actually came out with me and was my rock." He concluded: "Inside, you're wanting to run away — you don't want to do it, you know? It ended up being one of the best experiences of my life. I'm really glad I was able to finish it. I thought I felt relief after ‘Assassin'; this was the ultimate kind of weightless. ... It had been over a year at that point since the accident, and I felt more free and like myself once I accomplished that than I had the whole year." So proud of him!!!
