Gretchen Carlson Made It A Point To Share Donald Trump"s Access Hollywood Tape With Her Kids!

Gretchen Carlson is on a mission to raise awareness about sexual harassment in the workplace — whether it's through her book or at home talking with her kids. As part of the press tour for BE FIERCE: Stop Harassment and Take Your Power Back, the former Fox News host sat down with Nancy Armstrong to discuss her experiences with sexual misconduct and even revealed how she informed her children about Donald Trump's pussy grabbing scandal. Related: All 45 Women Who Have Accused Harvey Weinstein So Far In fact, Carlson openly admitted that she showed her 12 and 14 year old the Trumpster's infamous Access Hollywood tape. She explained: "When the Access Hollywood tape came out with now-President Trump, I played it for my children... I wanted them to see how not to treat human beings. I wanted then to know that human decency, in my mind, supersedes any political policy." As it should!! In case you forgot, in footage from an Access Hollywood taping in 2005, the President is heard bragging about how felt entitled to "grab" women "by the pussy." We aren't shocked that Gretchen made a point to show the tape to her kids as she became the face of the anti-sexual harassment movement following her 2016 lawsuit against Fox News chief Roger Ailes. The suit resulted in Ailes' ousting from the conservative network. In regards to her own experiences with sexual harassment, Gretchen had a few choice words for Human Resources departments everywhere: "I actually believe reporting sexual harassment should go to a different part of the company. If the harasser is a boss then just forget it. You, as the employee, have no chance." Fair point. The 51-year-old went on to reference two additional instances of sexual assault, both experienced while she was serving as Miss America in 1989. On why she declined to name the individuals involved, the author noted: "It doesn't really matter... Maybe at some point I'll decide to make them [public]. It's actually a legal issue about why I wouldn't and I've had my fair share of lawyer advice over the last 15 months. So it's not because I'm not speaking up about it, it's more of a concern from a legal point of view." That all makes sense! Rose McGowan is one woman that will not be silenced when it comes to sexual harassment. Sure she has accepted a settlement from Weinstein in the past but now she’s turning her sexual harassment hardships into an E! TV sympathy seeking special. The document will complement her soon-to-release memoir entitled BRAVE. This double whammy will definitely destroy the misogynistic Hollywood we have all come to know and love. But if it doesn’t I’m pretty sure Rose will be able to cash a nice check. Being a victim is more valuable than Bitcoin at the moment. “You are formally invited into my mind and world. I am thrilled to partner with E! to amplify my message of bravery, art, joy and survival,” McGowan said in a statement today. “As I ready my book, BRAVE, I realized I wanted to show how we can heal through art even when being hounded by evil. I want to have a conversation with everyone, and most especially, you, about looking at things differently and seeing beauty everywhere. E!’s tremendous reach and impressive platform allow me to globally communicate the importance of living a BRAVE life.” McGowan is battling sexual harassment after accepting money to stay quiet. That isn’t being courageous, that’s being an opportunist. Rose really wants to be the face of the victimhood franchise at any cost. Her dignity was sold way above value at $100,000 and quitting while you’re ahead isn’t something she’s familiar with. She’s already begun to attack other victims for their lack of dedication to being constantly oppressed. She believes peaceful black dress protests are for pansies. She’s writing the rules for women on how to handle harassment. Just don’t think for a minute her actions are altruistic at all, if you want to find out the rules they’re $14.99 plus tax on Google Play Books and the E! documentary will require a cable subscription. The PGA unanimously voted to begin the 65-year-old former film executive’s termination process on October 16. Jamie Lee Curtis SLAMS Donna Karan & "Brutish Thug" Harvey Weinstein While Talking About Being Sexually Harassed At Work

With more and more celebs sharing their own horrifying experiences with the controversial producer, it's opening up a very overdue discussion in the industry. And Jamie Lee Curtis is doing so by slamming the argument that women are "asking for it," one Donna Karan recently given voice once again in defense of the movie mogul. Related: Kate Beckinsale Accuses Harvey Of Hitting On Her When She Was 17 The designer has since apologized, but the actress isn't here for it! In an op-ed piece published on Huffington Post, the star explained her disappointment with Donna -- all without naming her name: "I awoke to a statement, from an unlikely voice, that the women in question were perhaps 'asking for it.' Really? Is this how we have evolved? Is this what the women's movement, feminism and, more recently, the women's march has yielded? A fellow woman, one who makes her living dressing famous women in tight, sexy dresses and one who built her empire to do her good works all over the world, would throw these brave women under the bus in a weird, mean girl version of slut shaming?" Jamie continued, revealing she has been victim to sexual harassment at work: "I, too, have been subjected to my own private, personal versions of sexual harassment on the job. Did I ask for it? No. What I simply asked for was a job, and what came with it was sexual harassment." Furthering her point, she added: "What I believe we are all asking for in these instances, is a chance to show our talent, our humanity, a chance to express ourselves and our art and perhaps, be a part of a film that can truly create change." Using Prince's drug overdose as an example, the Scream Queens actress wondered if a "very famous person" had to die to affect change, like it did with opioid laws. When it comes to Harvey and sexual harassment though, she mused if there would be an end: "Perhaps this grotesque power play to 'get some' by this brutish thug of a man and the attempts by him, his lawyer, his board and famous friends to, once again, keep it under wraps and blame the victim will fail. Perhaps the truth will out other sexual harassment, be it from a governor or a president or a presidential candidate or studio head or movie star or executive or anyone else complicit in this billionaire boys club bullshit that will come to an inglorious end. To quote the great Helen Reddy, 'I am woman hear me roar, in numbers too big to ignore.'" Preach! Let's hope more and more stars continue to speak out! Rose McGowan pioneered the way and showed women that you can turn a settlement into sympathy, and then that sympathy into a TV Show/book deal. Now McGowan is forecasted to be overtaken by newest sexual harassment victim on the block Miro Sorvino. Sorvino claims that her denial of a few random reach arounds suggested by the always anonymous producer shut the door on opportunities and somewhat killed her career. But since the shitshow known as everybody hates Harvey aired she was able to source a second wind in sympathy. Outing Weinstein as the man who told her to open her legs if she wanted to keep a job is now opening doors for her. Anyone else smell a sexual harassment feature film coming soon? Miro: “But I have to say the general atmosphere since those allegations came out, those revelations, there seems to be a lot of goodwill towards me in the entertainment business and I’ve been getting offers,” Miro says she has a slew of projects lined up. At 50-years-old I couldn’t imagine how many of those roles actually involve not being someone’s grandmother. Her first series slated to release, Condor, she will be playing a retired investigator. How great can she be for the part if she wasn’t able to figure out Harvey was the one to touch her. It was a play-by-play open and shut case but she still dropped the ball on that one. The chance of Rose McGowan reloaded having a better career in the second half of her life is very slim. Good Friday, where do you want me to start?” Kate joked as Debette. “Women being harassed is Hollywood. Everything old is new again. Producers are abusing starlets. Well, kind of. Although the Mariska Hargitay-led crime drama will explore rape culture in the workplace, the upcoming hour won't be set in Hollywood. Instead, it will take place in an industry riddled in just as much controversy this year -- the airline industry. Video: Mel Gibson (Of All People) Speaks Out Against Sexual Harassment Why take to the skies instead of the stars? Because writers on the Dick Wolf procedural were already working on the episode before the Weinstein scandal broke and opened a dialogue on sexual harassment in the workplace. Exec producer Michael Chernuchin explained to EW: "We were actually working on a story about airline pilots and what a boys club that is. We were beating the story out and said, ‘Wow, this is exactly what the actresses go through in Hollywood. It's the same environment.' So we got all of our Harvey stuff out with airline pilots." But it isn't over. Related: Renée Zellweger Absolutely Did NOT Perform 'Sexual Favors' For Harvey Weinstein! Salma Hayek shared her story in an op-ed for The New York Times on Wednesday morning revealing she too had to fight off the advances of the man she calls her "monster." First she explained why it's taken her so long to speak out, saying: "I had brainwashed myself into thinking that it was over and that I had survived; I hid from the responsibility to speak out with the excuse that enough people were already involved in shining a light on my monster. I didn't consider my voice important, nor did I think it would make a difference." But she was inspired by the women who have spoken up, even facing an environment under harasser-in-chief Donald Trump. She explains: "We are finally becoming conscious of a vice that has been socially accepted and has insulted and humiliated millions of girls like me, for in every woman there is a girl. I am inspired by those who had the courage to speak out, especially in a society that elected a president who has been accused of sexual harassment and assault by more than a dozen women and whom we have all heard make a statement about how a man in power can do anything he wants to women." Salma describes how she brought her passion project, the biopic of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, to Harvey because she knew him a bit through her relationship with From Dusk Till Dawn director Robert Rodriguez and his wife: "All I knew of Harvey at the time was that he had a remarkable intellect, he was a loyal friend and a family man. Knowing what I know now, I wonder if it wasn't my friendship with them -- and Quentin Tarantino and George Clooney -- that saved me from being raped." Salma says she actually began the process grateful to the man: "He had taken a chance on me — a nobody. He had said yes. Little did I know it would become my turn to say no. No to opening the door to him at all hours of the night, hotel after hotel, location after location, where he would show up unexpectedly, including one location where I was doing a movie he wasn't even involved with. No to me taking a shower with him. No to letting him watch me take a shower. No to letting him give me a massage. No to letting a naked friend of his give me a massage. No to letting him give me oral sex. No to my getting naked with another woman. No, no, no, no, no …" She kept saying it despite how angry it made him: "The range of his persuasion tactics went from sweet-talking me to that one time when, in an attack of fury, he said the terrifying words, 'I will kill you, don't think I can't.'" After she spurned his advances, convincing him she "was not going to earn the movie the way he had expected," he tried to hit her back in her work, making her jump through ridiculous hoops, all of which she did. Video: Is Pamela Anderson Seriously Blaming Harvey Weinstein's Victims?? Things didn't get better though. Just different. "Ironically, once we started filming, the sexual harassment stopped but the rage escalated... Halfway through shooting, Harvey turned up on set and complained about Frida's "unibrow." He insisted that I eliminate the limp and berated my performance. Then he asked everyone in the room to step out except for me. He told me that the only thing I had going for me was my sex appeal and that there was none of that in this movie. So he told me he was going to shut down the film because no one would want to see me in that role." The only way she could keep him from shutting down the film was by agreeing to do a full frontal lesbian scene in the movie. "I arrived on the set the day we were to shoot the scene that I believed would save the movie. And for the first and last time in my career, I had a nervous breakdown: My body began to shake uncontrollably, my breath was short and I began to cry and cry, unable to stop, as if I were throwing up tears. Since those around me had no knowledge of my history of Harvey, they were very surprised by my struggle that morning. It was not because I would be naked with another woman. It was because I would be naked with her for Harvey Weinstein. But I could not tell them then. My mind understood that I had to do it, but my body wouldn't stop crying and convulsing. At that point, I started throwing up while a set frozen still waited to shoot. I had to take a tranquilizer, which eventually stopped the crying but made the vomiting worse. As you can imagine, this was not sexy, but it was the only way I could get through the scene." So awful. We had no idea she had been through this. All we say was her wonderful movie. And for anyone curious why Salma's career didn't take off even more after that acclaimed film? One word. Harvey. "Even though "Frida" eventually won him two Oscars, I still didn't see any joy. He never offered me a starring role in a movie again. The films that I was obliged to do under my original deal with Miramax were all minor supporting roles." Read Salma's entire story and take on the landscape of sexual harassment HERE. [Image via Brian To/FayesVision/WENN.].....»»

Hoda Kotb Tapped As Matt Lauer"s Permanent Replacement On Today!

We are HERE for this decision. On Tuesday, it was revealed that Hoda Kotb has been tapped to permanently fill the spot left vacant by Matt Lauer's scandalous ousting. As you surely know, the newsman was fired from NBC News after it was revealed that he demonstrated "inappropriate sexual behavior" in the workplace. Related: Matt Lauer's Wife Has Lawyered Up Amid Divorce Rumors Following Lauer's shocking scandal and subsequent firing, NBC placed the seasoned Today vet on camera next to co-anchor with Savannah Guthrie as a temporary fix. Well, it seems the on screen chemistry between Guthrie and Kotb tested well, because Hoda is now Savannah's co-anchor FULL TIME. On her deep bond with Savannah, the 53-year-old told People: "When you click with someone, man, woman, it doesn't matter. If it works, it works. We're sort of like sisters, and everybody wants a sister." Awwwwww. Understandably, as the two TV personalities were close friends with Matt, the Today ladies have been leaning on each other during this hard time. In regards to how they handle Lauer's controversy, Guthrie noted: "That morning was so hard, but Hoda and I were in it together. We are family, and families do go through hard times, and when that happens in good families, you just get closer." Well said. It also helps that Hoda is such a delight to be around, as Savannah added: "It was such a shock to wake up one day and not have Matt, but it was the most natural and comforting thing in the world to have Hoda right there. No one wanted that to stop." Hear! Hear! Ironically, while covering for Lauer, Hoda never thought about permanently taking the spot as she simply wanted to make sure the show went on. The single mom relayed: "We were just trying to make it through those days together. Sometimes when you go through something with someone, you see something special. I think that's what happened. I didn't think about whether it would be me." AH-Mazing. And NBC seems pretty jazzed about their decision, as NBC News Group chairman Andy Lack shared: "We're very fortunate to have someone like Hoda who brings immense talent and tremendous positive energy, and then on top of that happens to have wonderful chemistry with Savannah. It makes this a decision that everyone can embrace and feel terrific about." Apparently, the executives at the network offered Hoda the job JUST before the holidays -- talk about a Christmas bonus, right?? However, for the time being, Kotb will continue hosting the show's 10 a.m. hour alongside Kathie Lee Gifford. Oh, and if you are wondering what Matt's up to these days, Savannah concluded: "We know he's working on his family, we know that for sure. Of course our hearts go out to the brave women who have told their stories. What we are experiencing and processing now is how to honor and remain a true friend to someone even in spite of learning things that are deeply disturbing. And we are trying to navigate that path with integrity." We guess you gotta do what you gotta do. Congrats, Hoda!! You SO deserve this!! [Image via WENN.].....»»

The country's gender equality minister Marlène Schiappa (what a badass job!!) is coordinating plans with President Emmanuel Macron to create new legislation for on-the-spot fines for catcalling and street harassment. Additionally, new laws will aim to give people who were sexually assaulted as a child more time to file a police complaint, and toughen existing laws on sex with minors. Related: Selena Gomez Doles Out An Empowering AF Message To Her Baby Sis According to the plans announced this week, politicians will work with police to establish what sort of behavior constitutes sexual harassment -- and what the punishment for such acts should be. Schiappa says this move is "completely necessary because at the moment street harassment is not defined in the law... We can't currently make a complaint." This is incredible! And about damn time!.....»»

Matt Damon & Russell Crowe Allegedly Helped Harvey Weinstein Kill A Different Sexual Harassment Exposé — OVER A DECADE AGO!

Following The New York Times' explosive exposé on Harvey Weinstein and claims of his decades of sexual harassment, many are left wondering how this was allowed to go on for so long. Well, it appears as though the boys' club in Hollywood enabled the indie movie mogul's behavior. Related: Model Zoe Brock Details Being "Harveyed" What do we mean exactly?? Apparently, this isn't the first time a piece about Weinstein's gross conduct has been written, as a similar story was drafted back in 2004. The reason it never saw the light of day is because Damon and Crowe allegedly helped Weinstein gut the investigation into a practically nothing piece. Sharon Waxman, founder of The Wrap, made these bold claims in a new story on Sunday. The longtime journalist revealed: "In 2004, I was still a fairly new reporter at The New York Times when I got the green light to look into oft-repeated allegations of sexual misconduct by Weinstein. It was believed that many occurred in Europe during festivals and other business trips there. I traveled to Rome and tracked down the man who held the plum position of running Miramax Italy. According to multiple accounts, he had no film experience and his real job was to take care of Weinstein's women needs, among other things." Ew. We're sure that job must've been a literal nightmare. She continued: "As head of Miramax Italy in 2003 and 2004, Fabrizio Lombardo was paid $400,000 for less than a year of employment... I had people on the record telling me Lombardo knew nothing about film, and others citing evenings he organized with Russian escorts." At the time, Lombardo denied the allegations about his job responsibilities AND "declined to comment on the circumstances of his leaving Miramax." Nonetheless, Waxman tracked down a London-based woman who had been paid off following an "unwanted sexual encounter with Weinstein." While the unnamed woman was too scared to comment on the harassment because of the non-disclosure agreement she signed, evidence of a pay off was supplied. Despite all of this evidence, Sharon's initial report of the situation never ran -- and here's where Damon and Crowe come in. Waxman relayed: "After intense pressure from Weinstein, which included having Matt Damon and Russell Crowe call me directly to vouch for Lombardo and unknown discussions well above my head at the Times, the story was gutted. I was told at the time that Weinstein had visited the newsroom in person to make his displeasure known. I knew he was a major advertiser in the Times, and that he was a powerful person overall." Still, the Times had a journalistic responsibility to publish the story, right? Wrong. The businesswoman added: "The story was stripped of any reference to sexual favors or coercion and buried on the inside of the Culture section, an obscure story about Miramax firing an Italian executive. Who cared? The Times' then-culture editor Jon Landman, now an editor-at-large for Bloomberg, thought the story was unimportant, asking me why it mattered." How awful. And shame on anyone who would help enable Harvey's predatory ways. We're just glad that people are speaking out now. [Image via WENN.].....»»

Amid all of the sexual harassment allegations coming to light, former producer for the ABC dating series, Becky Steenhoek, has come forward with a lawsuit against Warner Brothers and several of the show's producers on Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court. The court docs name Caitlin Stapleton, Bennett Graebner, Elan Gale, Peter Scalettar, Jacqueline Naz Perez, in addition to creator Mike Fleiss' production company NZK Productions. According to Steenhoek, she was repeatedly asked very intimate questions about her sex life, which she says were made to make her feel uncomfortable during her time on JoJo Fletcher's season in 2016. Related: Corinne Olympios Is Open To Giving Nick Viall A Second Chance She says the questions often included: "Is your vagina shaved?," "Have you ever fondled [testicles] before?," and "Have you ever sat under a shower faucet or touched yourself to masturbate?" ... "How often do you masturbate?," "Do you own sex toys/dildos?," "Have you ever had anal sex?," "Do you enjoy giving hand jobs?," "Is your vagina shaved?," "Do you have a landing strip?" "Has a man ever got your 'taco' talking?" So graphic! The 31-year-old -- who has since moved back to Texas -- told the LA Times that she was "raised in a Christian household" and the prodding was meant to embarrass her: "You could visibly tell it was very uncomfortable to me to witness, just because they did make comments like, 'Oh, Becky's blushing,' or 'Her ears are probably burning.' It was a bit of a theme that carried on throughout the season ... it was a fun time for them to see me get embarrassed." She even went to cast producer Stapleton, who she says told her at the time: "She just told me, 'Listen, this is just how it is. These are middle-aged white men. This is locker-room talk. This is their way of showing that they're trying to bond with you.'" After her complaint to Stapleton, Steenhoek says she began being excluded from meetings and given less responsibility until she was ultimately fired. When she asked producer Bennett Graebner the reason for her termination, he allegedly told her she was not being enough of a "bitch": "When I was hired for the job, the reason they told me I was being hired because I did have the morals and they felt I was a good person. And then here I am being fired because of that reason." She is suing for damages for sexual harassment and hostile work environment, sex discrimination, retaliation, failure to prevent harassment, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination. Of the entire ordeal, Becky said: "It tainted my whole view of the industry. I wasn't protected. When we sign our paperwork, we're given a sexual harassment policy that says ‘any unwanted — whether it's verbal or physical — sexual advances that makes the person feel uncomfortable and is unwelcome, that you're supposed to report that and it's not allowed.' I think it's an industry-wide problem — these executives are untouchable. If you report it, you get retaliated against, you get fired because then you're not a team player. If you don't report it, then it was essentially me not being me. I would have had to sacrifice my values and my morals for something I didn't think was right, and I'm not gonna do that." Warner Bros. has responded in a statement, saying: "We take all allegations of workplace harassment very seriously. These allegations were brought to our attention and were thoroughly investigated earlier this year. Our findings did not support the plaintiff's characterization of the events claimed to have taken place, which is why we are disappointed by the filing of this lawsuit." We'll keep you posted as we learn more. [Image via Facebook.].....»»
