Dr. Phil Responds To Accusations Of Show Staff Giving Known Addicts Drugs & Alcohol

As a former psychologist once said, "There are some sick people in this world." And according to Thursday's shocking report from STAT and The Boston Globe, Dr. Phil staff may be some of them. [...] As a former psychologist once said, "There are some sick people in this world." And according to Thursday's shocking report from STAT and The Boston Globe, Dr. Phil staff may be some of them. In the article, multiple former guests suffering from addiction say show staff, including producers, encouraged or aided them in finding drugs before taping. Survivor winner Todd Herzog (above) says he was left a full bottle of vodka in the green room. Related: Andrew Garfield Candidly Discusses His Relationship With Drugs While the show was given multiple opportunities to defend its actions in the article, clearly they didn't like how they came off. So on Friday morning, Dr. Phil McGraw and company released a public statement condemning the "tabloid-style story: "Hello: There is an unsubstantiated, tabloid-style story recently published about the show's handling of two or three guests over the last 16 years. We thought a clarifying statement might be timely. Here it is below — and from all of us at "Dr. Phil," have a safe and Happy New Year! December 29, 2017 STATEMENT FROM THE DR. PHIL SHOW The STAT article does not fairly or accurately describe the methods of the Dr. Phil show or its mission to educate millions of viewers about drug and alcohol addiction. The show does not give drugs or alcohol to its guests and any suggestions to the contrary are errant nonsense. For the past 16 years, the Dr. Phil show has provided valuable information to viewers by telling compelling stories about people who are fighting the battle to overcome alcohol and drug addiction. Unfortunately, addicts often lash out at the very people who are trying the hardest to help them break the cycle of addiction. Although terribly unfortunate, this is an understandable part of the behavior of addicts on their journey to recovery. This will not deter the Dr. Phil show from its commitment to educate and inform the public about the worsening epidemic of addiction." What do YOU think of this new denial? Meghan Markle"s Half-Sister Defends Cashing In On Fame & Talks Watching Royal Wedding On TV After Not Being Invited!

Samantha Markle is going to keep milking this fame cow as long as possible — and she doesn't care what you think about it! On Monday morning, days after Meghan Markle got married to Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex's half-sister spoke to Em, Grant, and Ed on 2DAY FM 104.1 about the royal wedding (which [...] Samantha Markle is going to keep milking this fame cow as long as possible -- and she doesn't care what you think about it! On Monday morning, days after Meghan Markle got married to Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex's half-sister spoke to Em, Grant, and Ed on 2DAY FM 104.1 about the royal wedding (which she was not invited to). Related: Here's The Full Recap Of Meghan Markle & Prince Harry's Big Day! While the former Suits star had the best day of her life in England, Samantha watched the festivities "at home in Florida." Despite not being there, the 53-year-old thought the ceremony "was so beautiful." When asked if she regrets anything she has said (like when she slammed Meghan for inviting the public to her wedding over her estranged family), she responded: "You really can't believe everything... I was always very forthcoming about the way I felt, the things that I loved and admired about her. There was some things that I didn't understand or that I disagreed with and they were horribly skewed in the media… slamming…that was not accurate at all. She's my baby sister and I love her and I was so proud to watch her have that happy moment and any disagreements that you've had melt away when there is that level of happiness." Hmm. Although she wasn't on the guest list, she doesn't hold it against her baby sis. "No one on my fathers or Dora's side of the family were invited. We really felt like you can't hold that against her. The traffic there would have been chaotic I was more comfortable watching it at home." When asked about cashing in on Meghan's fame, she defended herself, saying: "It's not cashing in, to share fond feelings and memories.... Here's what's fundamentally wrong if family and friends don't make money, the journalist and tabloids are going to make money and they have less right." In regards to father Thomas Markle's paparazzi photo scandal, she answered: "He did not accept any reasonable some of money for photos, and he turned down interviews... It's been how the media has interpreted my conduct... I do regret the title of my book [The Diary Of Princess Pushy's Sister]." It's how the media interpreted her own admission that she set up the fake photo shoot? Right... Speaking of her father, who recently underwent heart surgery, Samantha says he is still recovering in the hospital: "He is recovering, still in the hospital. He certainly did have a heart attack it was not fake – media rubbish. It was quite difficult for him as much as he wanted to be there to walk her down the aisle and on the other hand it was a huge honor that Prince Charles walked her down the aisle on his behalf. So it was bitter but definitely sweet at the same time." Although she has not contacted Meghan, she hopes their relationship can be repaired, and hopes to call her after her honeymoon. "I'm hoping that after they have their honeymoon and settled in we will have time to communicate by phone (I will probably arrange her number from my father)." But will Meghan answer?? Who knows! Fentanyl Night Long – Everyone’s Overdosing On Fentanyl-Laced Cocaine

People are saddling up to the fentanyl you can eat buffet in record numbers and a bunch of them are dying. Basically, according to Buzzfeed News, the "in" thing in the East Coast is to lace cocaine with fentanyl. Party. Researchers aren't exactly sure why drug dealers are mixing the two, but they are sure that their customers aren't usually aware of the fentanyl. In fact fentanyl - an opioid 50% more potent than heroin - counteracts the buzz people expect from cocaine, so users take more than usual to get their high, not knowing that they're taking enough fentanyl to kill an international pop singing sensation/alleged child rapist for example. Basically, according to Buzzfeed News, the “in” thing in the East Coast is to lace cocaine with fentanyl. Party. Researchers aren’t exactly sure why drug dealers are mixing the two, but they are sure that their customers aren’t usually aware of the fentanyl. In fact fentanyl – an opioid 50% more potent than heroin – counteracts the buzz people expect from cocaine, so users take more than usual to get their high, not knowing that they’re taking enough fentanyl to kill an international pop singing sensation/alleged child rapist for example. Researchers shocked that drug addicts are dying from drug use hypothesize that the fentanyl-contaminated cocaine could be the result of sloppy kitchen chemists accidentally mixing product, end-users purposely mixing the two for that extra little sumpin sumpin, or drug dealers assuming that the introduction of fentanyl will make their cocaine more addictive. Spoiler: Instead it just kills their customers. But if it makes people feel better, they probably we’re going to cure cancer. And to be frank they were probably ugly. Although, thin. People in the New England are down to clown apparently, and in 2016 “…a synthetic opioid such as fentanyl showed up in more than 83% of the cocaine-related overdoses in New Hampshire; 70% of cocaine-related deaths in Massachusetts; nearly 64% of those in Maine; and 54% of those in Connecticut.” I picture people in Maine eating lobster in their Subarus alongside their middle-aged lesbian lovers, but it’s more like Scarface meets a low-key afternoon for Prince. I’m one of those people who feels like when it’s you’re time to go it’s you’re time to go, but health advocates are scrambling to save addicts (over 4,000 fatally overdosed from fentanyl-like substances in 2016) from themselves in what they’re calling an epidemic. Guys drugs aren’t fentanyl they’re cracked up to be. I’ll leave you with a stat about an up-and-comer in the drug biz – carfentanil. It’s 5,000 times more potent than fentanyl and showing up in cocaine as well. Today’s takeaway – If you’re going to get wet you might as well jump in. Black University Of Florida Students Wrestled Off Graduation Stage

As someone who graduated from one of the University of Florida's rival horrible barely-accredited Southern state schools, I always love a good UF story. And thankfully there are plenty. In order to graduate from UF all you need to do is guess the number of beans in a jar correctly, and last night the proud future jobless Florida bath salt addicts took to the graduation stage to celebrate their mediocrity. The post Black University Of Florida Students Wrestled Off Graduation Stage appeared first on WWTDD - What Would Tyler Durden Do?. UF Twitter Somebody please find out this employee’s name!! Every time a Black student took more than TWO seconds, he aggressively pushed them. Watch it for yourself. #ItsGreatUF pic.twitter.com/zMee1nMbUZ — Chris (@ChicoFreedom) May 5, 2018   As someone who graduated from one of the University of Florida’s rival horrible barely-accredited Southern state schools, I always love a good UF story. And thankfully there are plenty. In order to graduate from UF all you need to do is guess the number of beans in a jar correctly, and last night the proud future jobless Florida bath salt addicts took to the graduation stage to celebrate their mediocrity. But things went South when a white faculty member wrestled some of the students off stage – mainly black students participating in a slow-motion celebratory dance associated with their fraternity. To be fair, this is the University of Florida, so they might have just been slow, period. According to one student the stroll is: …a cultural tradition in historically black fraternities and sororities.   Almost fell when he pushed me pic.twitter.com/98meStYalY — thugger (@mythuggin) May 5, 2018   One of the ushers monitoring the ceremony didn’t get the memo that this will be the last thing most students do before getting eaten by alligators, and, bless his heart, wanted to get through the ceremony because he apparently assumed anyone there had someplace more important to be. Lol. I remember insufferable douche frat daddies of all ethnicities strutting across the graduation stage at my school, but it’s more of a race thing with the stroll being associated with a specific black frat, and you can’t really argue with the video footage circulating of the faculty’s smackdown. Optics are everything, and it’s bold, if nothing else, that – after witnessing the dozens of race-related infractions to go viral over the past decade – someone would physically drag students of color off stage. It’s like how Julianne Hough still wears blackface all the time. Take a hint Julianne. Even if the faculty was manhandling young men of all creeds and colors, um, Molesty McGayface much? Spacey is reeling over his career path. Anyway the faculty member has been suspended and the school has released a billion apologies in multiple forms, so UF can continue to churn out unqualified inbred nobodies for years to come.   The University is proud of the achievements of every single one of our graduates and regrets that any celebration of the day may have been diminished by those monitoring a graduation ceremony. — FLORIDA (@UF) May 6, 2018 The post Black University Of Florida Students Wrestled Off Graduation Stage appeared first on WWTDD - What Would Tyler Durden Do?......»»

The Emoji Movie Is An Appalling Pile Of 💩! See What Critics Are Saying About Sony"s Cash Grab!

But based on the reviews, the [...] Like it or not, we have become a society of smartphone addicts -- and we pay for it with 💩 like this is! No one was expecting The Emoji Movie to be a masterpiece after learning it would follow defunct emojis trying to break out of a universe inside our smartphones. But based on the reviews, the Sony Animation film is far worse than it's main character, "Meh" (voiced by T.J. Miller) -- and was actually better described as the throw-away character "Poop" (voiced by Sir Patrick Stewart). Photos: These Celebs Totally Look Like Emojis! Critics were not only diss-app-ointed by the story (which most described as a cheap rip-off of Inside Out), but the amount of product placement was enough to make any theater goer look like 😡. Though we're sure kids will LOVE special appearances by YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Spotify, the Sony-owned Crackle app, and of course... DropBox! See the 😞 review roundup (below) to get a better idea of why this film scored a dismal 3% on Rotten Tomatoes -- and, if you dare, see The Emoji Movie in theaters now! Jordan Hoffman, NY Daily News: "This failed attempt to create a story from a texting trend makes the worst comic book adaptation look like Shakespeare. The script is entirely predictable despite making absolutely no sense. It not only fails to entertain, it will leave you 😡." John DeFore, The Hollywood Reporter: " It is fast and colorful enough to attract young kids, but offers nearly nothing to their parents. If only this smartphone-centric dud, so happy to hawk real-world apps to its audience, could have done the same in its release strategy — coming out via Snapchat, where it would vanish shortly after arrival. But even that wouldn't be fast enough." Owen Gleiberman, Variety: "The cartoon ideograms from your smartphone get their own animated adventure, but do they deserve it? Actually, they deserve better than this witless Inside Out knockoff." Matt Singer, ScreenCrush: "No animated movie outside the Cars franchise has raised more logistical questions about its strange setting than The Emoji Movie. Here is just one question I had: In one scene, Poop (and his son!) exit a restroom stall. When a sentient poop uses a toilet, what do they excrete? What is in a poop's poop? On second thought, don't tell me." Emily Yoshida, Vulture: "In the mock tradition of countless superior Pixar films before it, it's attempting to sell a sense of childlike wonder and fascination with an ordinary, everyday object: your smartphone. And in doing so, it is one of the darkest, most dismaying films I have ever seen, much less one ostensibly made for children." Glenn Kenny, The New York Times: "For a long time, Hollywood has been propagating the idea that the panderingly, trendily idiotic can be made to seem less so, by polishing it up with bright shiny gloss and enlisting engaging talented performers and writers. I can't be entirely certain of this, but I would say The Emoji Movie takes this notion to the outer limits of credibility." Lindsay Bahr, The Associated Press: "If you're worried about whether or not this is some big smartphone advertisement, it only kind of is. There's a whole journey through the Spotify app, and they have to get through a dance competition in the Just Dance app to get where they're going, and there is a line that seems to have been written by marketing folks about how illegal malware can't get into the protected DropBox app. Oh and while it's not mentioned, the Sony-owned Crackle app is always on Alex's home screen." Alissa Wilkinson, Vox: "Most likely, it was going to be a garbage fire. And now that I've seen it, I can confirm that suspicion: The Emoji Movie is a waste of time, resources, and a bunch of comedians' voices, plus a premise that actually had the potential to do some small good in the world. It's less of a movie and more of an insult." David Elrich, IndieWire: "How exciting to enter a film world in which all of the characters literally just tell us who they are over and over and over again like they're not physical manifestations of the feelings that define them! The brilliant Maya Rudolph adds all sorts of passive-aggressive texture to Smiler, the homicidal smiley face who lords over this place, it's just too bad that every single one of her lines is some variation of 'can't you see how happy I am?' Yes, yes we can. Your body is a giant smile with legs." Vadmi Rizov, A.V. Club: "Central character Gene (T.J. Miller), the inexplicably named "meh" emoji, must go on a journey of self-discovery and learn to accept himself, which chimes with [director Tony Leondis's] own childhood, growing up gay in a religious household... After viewing the final product, Miller's reasoning for making the movie sounds more believable: 'Sony knows we down to get motherfucking paid globally.'" [Image via Sony Pictures.].....»»
