In an open letter published on Friday (March 2), the stars come together to support survivors of harassment and abuse and demand more accountability from men. PHOTOS: Check out the latest pics of David Arquette The goal of the #AskMoreOfHim campaign, inspired by the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements, is to challenge men to use their privilege and platforms for good. “We applaud the courage and pledge our support to the courageous women — and men, and gender non-conforming individuals — who have come forward to recount their experiences of harassment, abuse and violence at the hands of men in our country. It is never easy for someone who’s been harassed or bullied to speak up, especially when the abuse is sexual,” the letter reads. See the full letter below, via The Hollywood Reporter. We applaud the courage and pledge our support to the courageous women — and men, and gender non-conforming individuals — who have come forward to recount their experiences of harassment, abuse and violence at the hands of men in our country. It is never easy for someone who’s been harassed or bullied to speak up, especially when the abuse is sexual. These people are our colleagues and friends. They are fellow artists and craftspeople. They are also our partners, siblings, parents and children. We are in awe of their strength and commitment to speaking truth to power. But our awe is not enough. As men, we have a special responsibility to prevent abuse from happening in the first place. After all, the vast majority of sexual harassment, abuse, and violence is perpetrated by men, whether in Hollywood or not. And in entertainment — like many industries — men continue to hold most of the decision-making power. Therefore, one of the most powerful things that men can and must do is make it clear to other men — including their friends, colleagues, and co-workers — that sexual harassment and abuse are never acceptable. This goes for everything from sexist and degrading comments, right up to domestic violence and sexual assault. Some may question our motives for signing this statement and we aim to counteract their skepticism by being painfully honest. Men are imperfect. We are imperfect. And many men, including perhaps some of us, may have enabled the bad behavior of others or acted in ways we now regret. Nonetheless, we believe that men must speak out against sexism, even as we engage in our own process of critical self-reflection, personal growth and accountability. So consider this our pledge to support survivors, condemn sexism wherever we see it and hold ourselves and others accountable. As advocates, actors, writers, producers, and directors, we hope that our actions will inspire other men to join us. Until now, only a small number of them have been actively engaged in this effort. This must change. It’s time we #AskMoreOfHim. Patti LuPone Pooping On Uma Thurman’s Broadway Performance

Women don’t really stick together outside of metoo related incidents or other similar instances that allow them the opportunity to unitedly shame men. It’s completely fine for women to be cunts to each other, just as long as the offender wasn’t a man that made a woman cry. Patti LuPone is an impressive woman with a wonderful voice. She also looks likes a cat eating Alf in outfits that women would wear if they were to board the Titanic in 1912. Patti may have been decent to look at when she was younger, but since then has aged into a bitter elderly woman with resting Jew face. She had some very unkosher things to say about Uma Thurman and her ilk. She’s pissed that Hollywood actors and actresses are encroaching on Broadway. Patti LuPone wants Hollywood stars to say in Hollywood, specifically Uma Thurman. “I don’t necessarily need to see film actors on stage, because they can’t. Not in my country they can’t,” LuPone said at the launch of a revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Company, per iNews. “Can I just say, Uma Thurman in ‘The Parisian Woman,’ anybody see it? Holy s–t! I’m sorry, I’m sorry.” Thurman received mixed reviews for her role in last year’s “The Parisian Woman.” LuPone said while there might not be a stigma against film actors appearing on Broadway anymore, “perhaps there should be.” Someone needs to sit Patti down and show her Birdman The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance. Washed up A-listers looking for the second wind in their career always choose Broadway. Hollywood actresses shouldn’t be discredited for their hard work in film just because  Broadway requires a higher talent level due to everything being one take in front of a live audience. Women in Broadway never had to worry about Weinstein. Uma had to recite her lines while Harvey most likely mouthed the dirty things he wanted to do to her. That level of concentration takes talent. There’s no need to behave like an elitist just because Uma wanted to give Broadway a go. Patti should probably look into getting laid more often. Disney and Pixar's new release won the box office on Black Friday itself, putting up $18.6 million from nearly 4,000 theaters across North America, and now that the full Thanksgiving weekend is upon us, we can report it's pushed its way out to an even bigger lead at the box office!! Embraced by both critics and viewers, Coco can now boast itself as having one of the six best five-day Thanksgiving holiday openings EVER, not adjusting for inflation!!! Related: Maluma Releases Three New Songs In A Short Film! Watch!! That debut will be right around $69 million - $70 million when it's all said and done this evening -- a HUGE showing for the popular film centered on the story of a 12-year-old boy around the Mexican holiday Day of the Dead. In fact, the opening weekend has been so strong for Coco, that it's already up there with Frozen, Moana, The Good Dinosaur, and Tangled as one of the best Thanksgiving openings ever. Not bad company!!! Holding steady at number two this weekend has been Justice League, which debuted a week ago and is projected to do right around $60 million over the five-day holiday, putting its domestic total through two weeks up at $173 million. Not too shabby!! The feel-good movie Wonder remains strong in third and drawing families very well, and it should gross about $33 million in total for the Thanksgiving holiday -- no doubt boosted in its second week here by an A+ CinemaScore rating. Some flicks are struggling at the box office, though; Denzel Washington stars in Roman J. Israel, Esq. right now, and it just can't quite get off the ground, sitting at just $6.5 million from 1,648 theaters over the five-day weekend period. Related: J.Law Is Looking To Take A Break From Acting! Call Me By Your Name has opened to the specialty box office and hasn't been put out to a full nationwide audience yet, though it has ben posting a big per-screen average -- $95,000 to $100,000 -- that reflects its critical acclaim in the few theaters it has been shown thus far. With high fanfare and expectations heading into the the weekend box office, one might have expected the DC Extended Universe's mashup to pull in a REALLY big opener, but it just wasn't in the cards for Justice League, which did just $96 million in the United States. Related: Get More Box Office News HERE! The global box office totals cushioned the hard landing a little bit for the superhero flick, as it did $185.5 million overseas -- giving it a cumulative $281.5 million global launch across all markets. But domestically, this marked the lowest opening of ANY title in the DC Extended Universe -- and that's a big problem for the superhero contingent as they try to compete with rival Marvel Studios. For Justice League specifically, it appears poor reviews and a mediocre B+ CinemaScore may have helped do it in... and yet it still finished first overall at the box office this weekend, so it wasn't all bad! Coming in second was a bit of a surprise hit: the Stephen Chbosky-directed Wonder, which brought in $27.1 million from just over 3,000 theaters across North America. Thor: Ragnarok came in at a close third place, taking in $21.8 million over the weekend in its now third week in theaters. Related: The Kids React To The Incredibles 2 Trailer!
