Actresses Accuse CSI Casting Veteran Of Manipulating Aspiring Stars Into Undressing

Another day, another sexual misconduct scandal… On Wednesday, veteran casting associate Andy Henry was exposed by The Hollywood Reporter for manipulating actresses into disrobing during private, paid auditioning sessions. On Wednesday, veteran casting associate Andy Henry was exposed by The Hollywood Reporter for manipulating actresses into disrobing during private, paid auditioning sessions. In fact, this behavior got Henry fired from his CSI casting gig and his own firm in 2008, as it was revealed that he used this strategy on up-and-comers seeking costarring roles on the crime drama. Related: Tom Sizemore Dropped From Horror Movie Project Sadly, some women fell for Andy's "coaching technique," as they felt compelled to please him since he was a key way to land entry-level parts. Man, oh man. To make matters worse, since the firing was never publicly disclosed, Henry went on to work on MAJOR motion pictures -- including Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, The Descendants, The Amazing Spider-Man, and Elysium. Tsk, tsk. Thankfully, five women have made the brave decision to come forward to detail their unsavory experiences with Andy. These women became connected thanks to the #MeToo campaign. Understandably, the actresses feel they were preyed upon. And it seems as though Andy thoroughly planned out his manipulation as the ladies' respective encounters with Henry were practically identical. Per the accusers, Henry used the same scene from a 2006 episode of the procedural, where a character struggles with a rare genetic disorder that causes excess hair growth. On meeting the casting professional at Reel Pros, actress Jenny Kern recalled: "His line was, 'It's a really challenging scene and I can tell you can handle it, but it definitely requires more work than what we do here. Do you have any time to stay afterward to push a little harder with [the material]?' I was really flattered." Andy had Jenny perform the scene a few times before suggesting that, in order to achieve "more vulnerability," she should take her bra off. According to Kern, the industry vet became dissatisfied with the situation and "incrementally asked [her] to take [her] clothes off." Jenny eventually complied so that she could get the meeting over with. After manipulating Jenny into her underwear, Andy began to improvise a scene that was highly inappropriate. She continued: "He started saying things, improvising as this detective character: 'I can see your tits,' 'I can see you shave your pussy.' He did it until I finally cried." He ended the meeting by thanking Jenny for her performance. How awful. Tessa Goss had a similar run-in with Andy while at Culver City's acting center ITA. She added: "He prefaced by saying, as he'd playact frustration, running his hands through his hair, 'This is going to seem super-crazy, but don't think it's super-weird.' That he works with actresses all the time. His thing was that [the performance] would feel more authentic if you can feel your nipples against your clothes. I thought, 'I need to get out of here.' But there's also this sick actor part of me that thought, 'I need to get out of here as friends.'" Tessa chose to leave the meeting, as she was pregnant with her third child and not eager to show her baby bump to a stranger. Goss later emailed ITA about Andy's behavior and later received the following reply: "Dear God! Just tell me that no one asked you to disrobe!!!" SMH. Andy's advances left quite the impact on his victims as many began to doubt their talent following the upsetting invitations. Catherine Black, who rebuffed Henry's request at AIA Actor's Studio, shared: "It really planted a seed in my head, that maybe I wasn't good enough. Of, what did I do wrong? It made me feel ashamed." Through AIA, Andy met another victim, whom he allegedly groped. Mandy June Turpin, who claims Henry touched her shoulders and breasts during their session, relayed: "I thought, 'Thank God, somebody said something.' You're afraid to speak up. You're someone without credits. And he went on to work again in the business anyway." Andy also preyed on an intern at the casting firm where he worked, named Ulrich/Dawson/Kritzer. Reportedly, Henry offered to give aspiring star Jacqueline Mueller private acting advice back in 2008. Using the same CSI scene, the casting expert advised the intern to take off her bra, a request she followed. When Andy told her to unzip her sweater, Mueller realized the situation had become one of misconduct. Related: Sixth Woman Accuses Roy Moore Of Sexual Assault Jacqueline remembered: "Then he asked me to unzip my sweater. If I'd unzipped it, I would've been topless. I felt disgusted and bamboozled." In order to "loosen" her up, Andy then offered Mueller a glass of whiskey. She quipped: "I don't remember him reaching out to the men in the office to 'help' them." Ugh. Andy has since responded to the allegations with the following statement: "Nine years ago, I tried what I thought was a coaching technique, but which I learned very quickly was foolish and foolhardy. It was brought to light almost immediately, and as you were correctly informed, I was terminated from my employment in 2008 as a result. I was then, and remain to this day, profoundly sorry about these incidents. I took responsibility right away for using nudity as a technique to explore the vulnerability portrayed in a scene, without being cognizant of the potential damage to the human being in the room. I was not aware of the allegations of fondling until now, and do not believe or recall that such a thing happened. I never meant to make anyone feel pressured into doing anything, nor did I ever consciously intend to hurt anyone. My job was gone, my standing in the entertainment community was greatly lowered, and my career options were severely curtailed. I lost my marriage and declared bankruptcy as a result. I was punished for my actions, but I have spent the last nine years rebuilding myself into a person who could never do such a thoughtless and careless thing again. I have formally converted to Judaism, I have dedicated my life to the service of God and to trying to make some repair in this world. And I have striven to live and work every day as honorably and as honestly as possible. I am, again, inexpressibly sorry for the pain that these incidents caused." Looks like someone is REALLY trying to downplay this controversy. Is there a way to fast track his ousting??? [Image via YouTube.].....»»

Andy Dick Hits Back After Being Fired From Indie Movie Over Sexual Misconduct Allegations — "People Are So Sensitive"

Hollywood's war against sexual misconduct is very much on! Andy Dick has learned this the hard way as he has just been fired from the independent movie Raising Buchanan over sexual harassment claims. Andy Dick has learned this the hard way as he has just been fired from the independent movie Raising Buchanan over sexual harassment claims. While The Hollywood Reporter was unable to reach any of the victims for comments, two sources close to the situation detailed the comedian's allegedly inappropriate on-set behavior. Related: Rose McGowan Links Arrest Warrant To Recent Activism Efforts According to the insiders, Andy has been accused of groping people's genitals, licking and/or kissing others without consent, and sexually propositioning at least four members of the production. It's currently unknown if those propositioned were Dick's fellow actors or crew members. In an attempt to get control of the story, the 51-year-old industry vet spoke with THR to tell his side of the firing. Although he has intensely denied the groping claim, he has noted that it's "possible" he may've licked people. Oh, and Andy has admitted to coming onto his coworkers on Raising Buchanan. Sadly, these allegations aren't necessarily shocking as Dick has made a name for himself by participating in outlandish comedy. The controversial funny man is VVV aware of his reputation, as he told the publication: "...my middle name is ‘misconduct.' They know what they signed up for." Nonetheless, Andy was vehement that he did NOT grope anyone on the set of the indie flick. He continued: "I don't grope people anymore. I don't expose myself anymore... I do understand that the temperature in the world right now is delicate." Dick is clearly referencing the Harvey Weinstein scandal, which has led to several other prominent men being exposed as predators. Supposedly, Andy antagonized those on the film by bringing up Weinstein in conversations. Per his chat with the mag, the Dancing With The Stars alum implied that he had been defending Harvey -- with whom he has made two films. Andy relayed: "Can I tell you my side of it? They were so incensed by what I was saying. People are so sensitive." For those readings this, word to the wise, it's NOT worth defending Weinstein. We mean, dude is a straight up predator. Other instances may've also contributed to Andy's firing as it's said the comic arrived a day late to production, didn't know his lines, AND brought along a friend who caused issues during filming. Specifically, the pal kept falling asleep and snoring while others filmed. Andy has since confirmed that the friend was his "sober companion," named Paul Ryder. The Happy Mondays bassist said he did not see Andy grope anyone. Related: Spacey Will No Longer Be Honored At The International Emmys On the many accusations listed (above), Dick defended: "I didn't grope anybody. I might have kissed somebody on the cheek to say goodbye and then licked them. That's my thing — I licked Carrie Fisher at a roast. It's me being funny. I'm not trying to sexually harass people... I didn't grab anybody's genitals,. Of course I'm going to proposition people. I'm single, depressed, lonely and trying to get a date. They can just say no, and they probably did and then I was done." Eh. It isn't "funny" if other people aren't in on the joke. Andy's sobriety was also questioned during production as one of the tipsters said Dick acted as though he was intoxicated. For those who may question Andy's sobriety, he clapped back with: "I overtook my medication and took too many Xanax and I was a bit loopy (on set). That didn't make me rape people. I really don't get it. I'm always trying to be funny and trying to get a date. I still don't have a date. I am on Tinder and I'm looking." Oof. To make matters worse, Andy attempted to excuse his bad behavior in the exact same way Weinstein did, by blaming his age: "I don't know the difference between sexual harassment and trying to get a date. In the '70s, all the girlfriends I got was by kissing and licking their cheek. I don't know anymore. There were beautiful women and beautiful guys on the set. I flirt with them. I might kiss someone on the set and ask them to go to dinner. They are the ones that took it south." Rather than kissing them up front, ask them to dinner first?? You know, keep your hands to yourself and all of that!! Andy has since promised that if other sexual misconduct allegations come to light, he will retire. Whoa. [Image via FayesVision/WENN.].....»»

War for the Planet of the Apes puts a cinematic exclamation point on the trilogy as it’s the finest film of the lot. Part of the franchise’s success comes from director Matt Reeves who helmed War and 2014’s Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. “He was very willing to take it as far as he could,” said Serkis. “And we completely connected. He’s all about discovering the scenes and properly rehearsing the scene with apes as actors and finding the beat and rehearsing scenes with the crew standing around waiting to shoot. He would always wait until the moment was right and . . . that  everybody (understood) what that scene was about.” Click on the media bar to hear Serkis talks about the incredible use of CGI in the film, especially when it comes to capturing the apes’ eyes. Although the picture grossed over $490 million worldwide, the feature was still one of this year’s more underrated films (its predecessor, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, grossed over $710 million worldwide). Along with another excellent performance from Andy Serkis as Caesar, Harrelson was also memorable as the antagonist, and their anti-climactic final conflict, at least in my opinion, was one of this year’s most surprising cinematic moments. Click on the media bar below to hear Serkis talk about the “brilliantly real” CGI behind War for the Planet the Apes: The Blu-ray’s special features include audio commentary from director Matt Reeves, several featurettes on the making of the film, and a plethora of deleted scenes (with optional commentary from Reeves). One of the deleted scenes, however, is worth watching especially if you’re a fan of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. The sequence features a discussion between Caesar and the Colonel which deals with the ultimate fate of Malcolm (Jason Clarke). War for the Planet of the Apes is now out on on Blu-Ray and DVD. The decision came after the comedienne posed with a faux decapitated head that looked like Donald Trump. Video: Ben Affleck Faces Sexual Misconduct Questions!! While the twosome's feud has consisted mostly of shady shots, Griffin escalated things by sharing a fan's claim that Cohen "rather assertively had his way with" the man around 30 years ago. The industry vet took to Twitter on Friday and posted: Morning kids… The Mayor of Zero Fucksville here.... pic.twitter.com/t0El5ndC5j — Kathy Griffin (@kathygriffin) November 17, 2017 As you can see from the post (above), Kathy's tweet is a direct retaliation to Andy's "I Don't Know Her" comment from October. Andy really should've just admitted that he knew her. Smh. Anywho, the letter in question was penned by a man named Forrest (Griffin chose to protect the complainant's anonymity by blacking out his last name). According to the accuser, he met Cohen at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1989 through a mutual friend. Although the sexual experience he had with Andy was an unsavory one, Forrest went along with it since he felt he had "met someone special." He wrote to Kathy: "It was very one-sided, and I was a sensitive idealistic young gay guy who thought, quite mistakenly, of course, that I might have met someone special. We didn't talk for more than a few minutes, and suddenly without a word he pushed [me] down on my bed. It was much more gratifying for him than it was for me as the interaction seemed entirely directed toward getting off. Like a spoiled kid with a new toy." Ugh. Following the encounter, Forrest felt used as Andy totally ghosted him. He added: "It was clear to me then that his interest in me was momentary, and I felt used." Cohen has yet to respond to this allegation. Nonetheless, we're certain he'll weigh in on this damning story sooner rather than later. We mean, how can he not??? [Image via WENN.].....»»

And I don’t have a minute to call him. Maybe you do,” Kathy said. “The reason I did that is that during the entire Trump scandal, I was doxxed so much that people obviously got my phone number, my address. The Trumpers came after me, and I just want you guys to know, Harvey Levin, a blogger, is very much in bed with everybody from Hollywood to Donald Trump.” Kathy ended her video by saying, “People like Andy Cohen and Harvey Levin honestly live to take women down.” Neither Andy or Harvey have responded to Kathy‘s comments yet. Sadly, now we're hearing one from Lupita Nyong'o. Related: All 45+ Women Who Have Accused Harvey Weinstein So Far The Black Panther actress opened up in a lengthy New York Times op-ed on Thursday, in which she says she felt "a flare of rage" in learning how many women had been through what she had: "I had shelved my experience with Harvey far in the recesses of my mind, joining in the conspiracy of silence that has allowed this predator to prowl for so many years. I had felt very much alone when these things happened, and I had blamed myself for a lot of it, quite like many of the other women who have shared their stories. But now that this is being discussed openly, I have not been able to avoid the memories resurfacing. I have felt sick in the pit of my stomach." Here is her story: "I met Harvey Weinstein in 2011 at an awards ceremony in Berlin, while I was still a student at the Yale School of Drama. An intermediary introduced him to me as "the most powerful producer in Hollywood." As an aspiring actress, I was of course eager to meet people in the industry but cautious about strangers, and the intentions of men in general." She asked her dinner companions about Harvey and was given the typical response that he could be "a bully" -- which meant it was better to have him in her corner than against her. Ultimately she says he was somewhat "charming" despite his directness, and that "he didn't alarm" her at first. So when he invited her to watch a screening of a film with his family at his home in Connecticut -- near where she was living in New Haven -- she accepted. Related: Channing Tatum Cuts All Ties With The Weinstein Company His family was actually there, at least. But when they all gathered to watch the film, that's when Harvey pounced: "I settled in for the film, but about 15 minutes in, Harvey came for me, saying he wanted to show me something. I protested that I wanted to finish the film first, but he insisted I go with him, laying down the law as though I too was one of his children." In his home with his children there. Ick. "Harvey led me into a bedroom — his bedroom — and announced that he wanted to give me a massage. I thought he was joking at first. He was not. For the first time since I met him, I felt unsafe. I panicked a little and thought quickly to offer to give him one instead: It would allow me to be in control physically, to know exactly where his hands were at all times... He agreed to this and lay on the bed. I began to massage his back to buy myself time to figure out how to extricate myself from this undesirable situation. Before long he said he wanted to take off his pants. I told him not to do that and informed him that it would make me extremely uncomfortable. He got up anyway to do so and I headed for the door, saying that I was not at all comfortable with that. 'If we're not going to watch the film, I really should head back to school,' I said. I opened the door and stood by the frame. He put his shirt on and again mentioned how stubborn I was. I agreed with an easy laugh, trying to get myself out of the situation safely. I was after all on his premises, and the members of his household, the potential witnesses, were all (strategically, it seems to me now) in a soundproof room." That time, Lupita was able to leave somewhat easily enough. She says she even justified the massage request to herself, though it helped that Harvey had enticed her with the possibility of a job (on an HBO show she later found out was already off the air). But she was still uneasy with Harvey, so when he invited her to a reading of the play version of Finding Neverland, she politely refused -- until he told her she could bring anyone she wanted. She attended with two male friends. Related: Quentin Tarantino Knew Harvey 'Did A Couple Of These Things'! Nothing untoward happened the entire evening, including when a large group went out for dinner and drinks. So the next time he invited her to a screening -- this time of Madonna's film W.E. -- she accepted. "Feeling more confident about the new sense of boundaries that we had established in our last meeting, I attended the screening on my own this time. Afterward, as planned, his male assistant arranged for me to get to the Tribeca Grill, where Harvey would be joining us. I met a female assistant when I arrived there. I was expecting that it would be a group of us, as it had been for the reading, but she informed me it would just be Mr. Weinstein. She would sit with me until he arrived. She seemed on edge, but I could only imagine how stressful it was to work for a man who had so much going on." As with other stories we've heard, the assistant "immediately disappeared" after Harvey arrived. And this time he was direct: "Before the starters arrived, he announced: 'Let's cut to the chase. I have a private room upstairs where we can have the rest of our meal.' I was stunned. I told him I preferred to eat in the restaurant. He told me not to be so naïve. If I wanted to be an actress, then I had to be willing to do this sort of thing. He said he had dated Famous Actress X and Y and look where that had gotten them. I was silent for a while before I mustered up the courage to politely decline his offer. 'You have no idea what you are passing up,' he said. 'With all due respect, I would not be able to sleep at night if I did what you are asking, so I must pass,' I replied." That's when Lupita knew Harvey was through with her; she asked him if they were good and recalls his chilling response: "'I don't know about your career, but you'll be fine,' he said. It felt like both a threat and a reassurance at the same time; of what, I couldn't be sure." Lupita made a vow to herself never to work with Weinstein, a vow she kept when he tried to entice her following her Oscar win for 12 Years A Slave. Related: LAPD Opens Harvey Weinstein Rape Investigation She explains why she's telling her story now -- for all the women who are like she was: "I share all of this now because I know now what I did not know then. I was part of a growing community of women who were secretly dealing with harassment by Harvey Weinstein. But I also did not know that there was a world in which anybody would care about my experience with him. You see, I was entering into a community that Harvey Weinstein had been in, and even shaped, long before I got there. He was one of the first people I met in the industry, and he told me, "This is the way it is." And wherever I looked, everyone seemed to be bracing themselves and dealing with him, unchallenged. I did not know that things could change. I did not know that anybody wanted things to change. So my survival plan was to avoid Harvey and men like him at all costs, and I did not know that I had allies in this." She concludes: "Now that we are speaking, let us never shut up about this kind of thing. I speak up to make certain that this is not the kind of misconduct that deserves a second chance. I speak up to contribute to the end of the conspiracy of silence. Amen, sister. You can read her full op-ed HERE. [Image via Apega/Michael Wright/WENN.].....»»

Well, my driver parked on the second level of the parking lot. So we’re standing there all that time waiting for the elevator, and that’s why it kept going on and on. And I didn’t really know how to pivot in the conversation. Andy Murray Stands Up For Women in Sports: "We Still Have So Many Issues"

Andy Murray has been vocal about being a feminist in the past but now he’s asking why more men aren’t feminists too! The 30-year-old tennis pro opened up about women in sports and how he believes that more men should be supporting female athletes. “I just don’t get is why it wouldn’t be something that tennis players are proud of, like, to be the only sport [where the men's and women's game and earnings] are even comparable. That’s positive. We still have so many issues, but it’s something that tennis players should celebrate,” Andy told Elle. Some of the issues he’s seen include the criticism he faced for having a female coach in the past. Andy added, “Some argue, ‘Oh, well, she’s a woman, so she can’t understand the men’s game.’ But then how can a man understand the women’s game? I obviously grew up getting coached by my mum, so I didn’t see any issue. But even I — when I came on the professional tour, there were no men coached by women, so looking for a coach, you assume you’re looking for a man, but when you get older you realize…well, no, it doesn’t have to be that way.” While Andy says there are still issues to be fixed in the divide between men and women’s sports, we’re so glad he’s speaking out about the topic!.....»»

Audiences are craving female-driven stories and nostalgia these days, so combining the two seems like a guaranteed slam dunk. But not every male-driven classic works with the opposite gender... specifically, when the entire premise of a story revolves around boys being idiots because they're boys. That's what people are frantically trying to point out after Warner Bros. announced plans to remake Lord of the Flies -- but with young girls stranded on the island instead of boys! Related: Patty Jenkins Responds To James Cameron's Wonder Woman Slam! Those who read William Golding's 1954 novel (or even Sparknoted it) say the story wouldn't make sense with all girls because it was meant to show the pitfalls of toxic masculinity. Many critics mused that instead of turning into barbaric animals, a group of stranded girls would either peacefully work together or just leave each other the fuck alone. Adding fuel to the fire is the fact that the remake will be written and directed by two men, Scott McGehee and David Siegel -- which is hardly a sign we're in for the feminist coming-of-age film of the decade. What do you think, Perezious Bookworms? Can Lord of the Flies be successfully remade with a group of girls? See what people are saying and comment (below)! The Sopranos" Annabella Sciorra Says Harvey Weinstein Invaded Her Apartment And Raped Her

In this new New Yorker piece, two actresses who had previously remained silent finally came out with their own harrowing stories. First was Annabella Sciorra, the star of early '90s hits Jungle Fever and The Hand That Rocks The Cradle who is probably best known for her Emmy-nominated recurring role as Gloria Trillo on The Sopranos. Related: Kevin Spacey Accused Of Assaulting News Anchor's Loved One Farrow says he approached Sciorra for the first article based on what some sources had told him, but she denied anything had happened. Even twenty-five years later she was still terrified of what he would do. But after the article came out and all the subsequent allegations, she knew she had to come forward with the truth -- Harvey had raped her. After starring in The Night We Never Met for Miramax, Sciorra says she was always at events and screenings for the studio. Then one dinner changed everything: "Harvey was there, and I got up to leave. And Harvey said, 'Oh, I'll drop you off.' Harvey had dropped me off before, so I didn't really expect anything out of the ordinary—I expected just to be dropped off." But after she went up to her apartment and got ready for bed, she heard a knock on the door. "It wasn't that late. Like, it wasn't the middle of the night, so I opened the door a crack to see who it was. And he pushed the door open. [Harvey] walked in like it was his apartment, like he owned the place, and started unbuttoning his shirt. So it was very clear where he thought this was going to go. And I was in a nightgown. I didn't have much on." She says he looked around to double check no one else was there as he got undressed and then cornered her, saying: "'Come here, come on, cut it out, what are you doing, come here.'" She told him: "'This is not happening. You've got to go. You have to leave. Get out of my apartment.'" But he didn't leave. "He shoved me onto the bed, and he got on top of me. I kicked and I yelled." Sciorra says he held her arms above her head with one hand and forcibly had sexual intercourse with her. "When he was done, he ejaculated on my leg, and on my nightgown." She remembered the nightgown specifically as it was a family heirloom from Italy. "He said, ‘I have impeccable timing,' and then he said, ‘This is for you.' And then he attempted to perform oral sex on me. And I struggled, but I had very little strength left in me." She says her body just began to shake violently: "I think, in a way, that's what made him leave, because it looked like I was having a seizure or something." Sciorra says she didn't tell anyone because she was so ashamed. But Harvey retaliated against her anyway: "From 1992, I didn't work again until 1995. I just kept getting this pushback of ‘We heard you were difficult; we heard this or that.' I think that that was the Harvey machine." Then when she did start working again, Harvey found her immediately. Related: Corey Feldman Tells Megyn Kelly That One Of His Abusers Now Works With The LA Dodgers! While she was filming The Innocent Sleep in London, Harvey called and sent cars to pick her up -- once even showing up himself and pounding on her door. "For nights after, I couldn't sleep. I piled furniture in front of the door, like in the movies." She says she got young producer Matthew Vaughn to secretly move her to another hotel. Vaughn (who went on to direct the Kingsman films) confirmed as much. In 1997, Sciorra starred in Copland, which Miramax produced. She went with the film to Cannes, where she was told her room was next door to Harvey's. Early one morning, there was a knock, and in her sleepy state she thought she must have missed an appointment and opened the door: "There's Harvey in his underwear, holding a bottle of baby oil in one hand and a tape, a movie, in the other. And it was horrific, because I'd been there before." She retreated into the room and thought fast: "He was closing in really quickly, and I pressed all the call buttons for valet service and room service. I kept pressing all of them until someone showed up." Thankfully staff showed up, causing Harvey to run back to his room. Related: All 50+ Women Who Have Accused Harvey Weinstein So Far Daryl Hannah also revealed her story, and sadly not for the first time. She met Harvey in the early 2000s at Cannes, where he told her he was a big fan and asked for her room number so he could call her for a meeting. That night he came knocking, then "pounding" on her door. She slipped out her balcony door -- she was on the first floor -- and spent the night in her makeup artist's room. The next night, her makeup artist stayed with her, and Harvey returned: "We actually pushed a dresser in front of the door and just kind of huddled in the room." Years later, while at the Rome premiere of Kill Bill, Vol. 2, Hannah experienced another sequel -- only this time both she and Harvey came prepared. Rather than knocking, the studio exec just barged right into her room: "He had a key. He came through the living room and into the bedroom. He just burst in like a raging bull. And I know with every fibre of my being that if my male makeup artist was not in that room, things would not have gone well. It was scary." Thankfully Hannah had prudently asked makeup artist Steeve Daviault to stay with her and watch movies all night just in case. Daviault confirmed the story to Farrow also. Hannah says she asked Harvey what he was doing, and he told her there was a party downstairs she was supposed to be at. She was wary but didn't want to be unprofessional. She got dressed and went downstairs only to find the dining room "completely empty." When she tried to return to her room, Harvey was blocking the elevator. He said to her: "Are your tits real?" Then he asked if he could feel them. "I said, ‘No, you can't!' And then he said, ‘At least flash me, then.' And I said, ‘Fuck off, Harvey.'" She says she got away but experienced "instant repercussions" -- her flight to Cannes and her hotel room were canceled, as were those of her makeup artist. Hannah says she told "all the powers that be" what had happened, including her manager, a producer, and, yes, Quentin Tarantino. Related: Quentin KNEW Harvey Weinstein 'Did A Couple Of These Things' Unfortunately, no one did anything: "And it didn't matter. I think that it doesn't matter if you're a well-known actress, it doesn't matter if you're twenty or if you're forty, it doesn't matter if you report or if you don't, because we are not believed. We are more than not believed—we are berated and criticized and blamed." Sciorra agrees. She told Farrow this victim blaming was the final straw in coming forward. After she saw how Asia Argento was being treated in the Italian press, she was incensed -- especially when commentators were asking if Asia's experience even "qualified" as rape. She says she thought to herself: "O.K., you want rape? Here's fucking rape." Sciorra has a message for those who think she or other actresses would make something like this up for publicity: "Now when I go to a restaurant or to an event, people are going to know that this happened to me. They're gonna look at me and they're gonna know. I'm an intensely private person, and this is the most unprivate thing you can do." When we see her, we're going to think about her courage. Now we're learning this is a result of four disturbing allegations of sexual misconduct against the fest's founder, Sean Carlson. In an exposé in SPIN, three anonymous and one named women detailed their alleged aggressive experiences with the music promoter, who allegedly attacked all of them between 2010 and 2015. Incident number one involves former freelance music photographer, Natasha Ryan, who claims Carlson forced himself on her at a VIP after-party in a casino suite in Las Vegas. Related: Joy Bryant Reveals She Was Born As The Result Of A Sexual Assault She told the outlet: "This guy just kept coming up to me and trying to take my bra top off and I had to keep batting him away. I didn't know who he was. I was just hoping he'd leave me alone ... He just started grabbing me and trying to kiss me and was trying to pull me into the bathroom to make out with me. I kept saying, ‘Stop, get off me,' and he kept saying, ‘But you're just too cute to not make out with.' He finally backed off after I pushed him off again." When asked why she didn't come forward at the time, Ryan said: "I didn't want to say anything back then because I was still shooting for magazines and publications and Fuck Yeah Fest is really big. I just felt like, ‘I need to get the photos done.' … I knew I had been violated but I didn't know if I should call the police or tell anyone. I thought no one would care and that my incident was isolated." The unnamed woman from the second incident shared her story of allegedly being assaulted by Carlson at a party in Los Angeles in 2013. After allegedly forcing himself into the restroom while she was urinating, she said Carlson trapped her: "I turn around, and his erect penis is just out of his pants. I remember trying to bargain with him, rationalize with him, like, ‘Hey, you're a really cool guy, let's go on a date first, I don't wanna do this, I'm not ready to do this, please, let's not do this' and he kept asking me to kiss his penis. I think that's when I realized, oh my God, this is not okay, this is really a problem and I'm scared. I felt trapped—I mean, I was trapped. So he just kept demanding that I kiss his penis, and I did. In my mind, I was like, ‘Maybe I'll just do this and he'll let me go,' which in retrospect does not make sense. But at that time I was super panicked and I just couldn't believe what was happening." She went on: "So I did it and I stood up. He kept his hand on the door and I kept trying to pull the door open," she says. She happened to be wearing a long dress and no underwear. "He lifted up my dress, and his erect penis was touching my butt. I just felt like, ‘Oh my god, this guy is about to enter me, what the fuck is happening right now.'" She was ultimately able to escape the bathroom, but says Carlson quickly caught up to her: "Before I realize where to go, he came out behind me and pulled by my wrists onto this couch that was in the front of the house—completely in the front of the house, so nobody in the back at the party could hear us at all. I didn't scream, I didn't yell, I was just in disbelief that this was happening. But even if I had, I don't know that anybody would have heard me. He pulled me on top of him, he had me pinned down by my wrists. I'm struggling to get away and he's like, trying to kiss me. And then somebody opened the back door, thank God, because that sound startled him and he loosened his grip on my wrists and I was able to pull free." She says Carlson later sent her a series of texts after the incident, one of which said: "Hey [Beth], I owe you an apology how I acted last night. It wasn't ok and I want you to know that I am sorry. I hope that I can show you in the future that I am a good person. And we hopefully we [sic] cross paths soon. I will make you smile and laugh. Have a good day : )" Several days later, the woman filed a police report but did not ultimately press charges: "The thought of having at least one more year of going through this again and again really was not something I was able to do at that time." Then there's incident number three, during which another unidentified woman says Carlson got "pretty wasted" and crossed the line at a party in 2015. She claimed: "He came up and we had a friendly conversation, and then [he] kind of just stuck his tongue down my throat, forcibly made out with me. I pulled back and resisted the first time, and he didn't really seem to get it and went in a second time, and I think a third time." At another party months later, she said Carlson followed her into a bathroom: "I went into the bathroom at some point and he forced his way in behind me and tried to make out with me. I pushed him out and rejected him." Outside the party with another friend, the woman said she accepted Carlson's offer for both of them to hop in his Uber: "He had just done something really gross, but on the other hand, he was offering to do something really nice. And the fact that I had somebody with me who was really close to me, I felt like I was going to be in a safe space. But as soon as the car pulled up, [Carlson] very forcibly suggested that my friend get in the front seat, and leave us two in the back." The victim remembered being groped by Carlson the rest of the way home, despite her saying no. Lastly, the fourth woman says Carlson was inappropriate with her while at a concert in Los Angeles: "As the night went on, Sean was just getting a little bit in my face, being overly flirty ... I kept trying to jokingly say ‘no' in a way that wouldn't be embarrassing, ‘cause it was a group of us so I didn't want to make it uncomfortable ... And then at one point, he just decided it was okay to kiss me. I had told him to stop getting into my zone a few times before, and I had to push him away." Other guys in the group apparently intervened and pulled Carlson off the woman. The music promoter has since responded to the allegations -- read his full statement (below): "Incident 4 is true. Incident 3 is generally true, but I did not follow the individual into a bathroom. My conduct in both of these incidents was inexcusable. The descriptions in Incidents 1 and 2 both contain serious misstatements and omissions. However, on both occasions I acted inappropriately and shamefully, and deeply regret my actions. I am genuinely, unequivocally sorry. I lay fault at no one's feet but my own. I am ashamed by how I acted and feel terrible for the pain that I have caused. Actions speak louder than words. In December 2015, my years of recklessness and selfishness hit a breaking point; I had to make a promise to family and friends that I would change, or risk finally exhausting what remained of their compassion and support. I gave up alcohol for good, I embraced therapy, and I asked, sincerely, that my family and friends forgive me. Nevertheless, these corrective actions do not excuse my reprehensible conduct, and are small solace to those whose pain I am so sorry to have caused." Wow. Thoughts??
