John Bernecker died after falling head-first onto a concrete floor from 22-feet above and his mother Susan says the network cut corners when it came to safety precautions. Susan is accusing AMC of putting profits ahead of safety and skimping on the show’s stunt budget. She says the network did not provide adequate cushioning beneath the balcony, did not ensure that the scene was rehearsed and did not have an ambulance on scene. “The AMC defendants orchestrated and enforced a pattern of filming and producing The Walking Dead cheaply and ultimately unsafely. As part of this emphasis, the AMC defendants pressured Stalwart Films to maintain unreasonably low budgets and expenses for episodes, including the budget allotted to stunts. Accordingly, the production of The Walking Dead repeatedly cut corners on safety precautions,” the suit reads. In a statement, AMC commented on their safety standards. “Our thoughts and prayers are and have been with John Bernecker, his family, friends and everyone touched by this tragic accident since the moment it occurred. We take the safety of our employees on all of our sets extremely seriously, and meet or exceed industry safety standards. Out of respect for the family, we will have no further comment on this litigation,” the network said......»»

Disney and Pixar's new release won the box office on Black Friday itself, putting up $18.6 million from nearly 4,000 theaters across North America, and now that the full Thanksgiving weekend is upon us, we can report it's pushed its way out to an even bigger lead at the box office!! Embraced by both critics and viewers, Coco can now boast itself as having one of the six best five-day Thanksgiving holiday openings EVER, not adjusting for inflation!!! Related: Maluma Releases Three New Songs In A Short Film! Watch!! That debut will be right around $69 million - $70 million when it's all said and done this evening -- a HUGE showing for the popular film centered on the story of a 12-year-old boy around the Mexican holiday Day of the Dead. In fact, the opening weekend has been so strong for Coco, that it's already up there with Frozen, Moana, The Good Dinosaur, and Tangled as one of the best Thanksgiving openings ever. Not bad company!!! Holding steady at number two this weekend has been Justice League, which debuted a week ago and is projected to do right around $60 million over the five-day holiday, putting its domestic total through two weeks up at $173 million. Not too shabby!! The feel-good movie Wonder remains strong in third and drawing families very well, and it should gross about $33 million in total for the Thanksgiving holiday -- no doubt boosted in its second week here by an A+ CinemaScore rating. Some flicks are struggling at the box office, though; Denzel Washington stars in Roman J. Israel, Esq. right now, and it just can't quite get off the ground, sitting at just $6.5 million from 1,648 theaters over the five-day weekend period. Related: J.Law Is Looking To Take A Break From Acting! Call Me By Your Name has opened to the specialty box office and hasn't been put out to a full nationwide audience yet, though it has ben posting a big per-screen average -- $95,000 to $100,000 -- that reflects its critical acclaim in the few theaters it has been shown thus far. According to TMZ, former Real Housewives star Carlton Gebbia is being sued by her former housekeeper of six years for alleged physical, verbal, and emotional abuse. Related: Real Housewives Who Were Allegedly Fired! The woman -- referred to in legal docs as "Jane Doe" -- was hired by the reality TV personality in 2011, and also acted as her nanny, chauffeur, grocery shopper, and personal assistant. Four months ago, the alleged victim texted Carlton's husband David after the Bravolebrity allegedly smashed one of her TVs with a baseball bat. When the housekeeper tried to calm her down, Carlton allegedly pushed her, where she fell against a door. After she was given two weeks to deal with her injuries, the nanny was allegedly fired the next month. Additionally, Jane Doe says Carlton has tried to kill herself in the past, and in one incident, she allegedly threw herself off the second story of her home. Carlton's rep said, "No comment." According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the director -- who is no longer working on the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody -- is being sued by Cesar Sanchez-Guzman, who claims the filmmaker raped him on a yacht in Seattle when the alleged victim was only 17 years old. In the lawsuit, the plaintiff says Singer offered to take him on a tour of the boat, owned by tech investor Lester Waters. Reportedly, the two were at a party with several gay young men. It's said that when they entered one of the rooms, Singer allegedly thrusted his body onto Guzman, forced him to the floor, and shoved the then-minor's face against his crotch, demanding oral sex. Video: Tom Cruise Responds To Rumors He Wore Butt Pads In Valkyrie Then, Singer allegedly pulled out his penis, smacked Guzman's face with it, and forced it into his mouth. Although the alleged victim pleaded with him to stop, Singer allegedly wouldn't and caused him to choke. After Singer allegedly performed oral sex on Guzman, the director is said to have penetrated the minor despite his pleas. After the incident, Singer allegedly told Guzman he was a powerful Hollywood producer who would help him get into acting as long as he stayed silent. Additionally, Bryan allegedly told him no one would believe him if he went public with the story, and he could hire people to ruin his reputation. Because of the alleged incident, Guzman says he suffered emotional distress, mental anguish, and physical and mental pain. In an interesting twist of events, the suit was filed by Jeff Herman, who represented fellow Singer accuser Michael Egan in 2014. Singer's rep points out: "The lawsuit was filed by the same lawyer who represented Michael Egan. Those claims were dismissed by Egan himself, and he later went to Federal prison for lying in a fraud case." After the 2014 lawsuit was dismissed, Herman issued an apology saying he "participated in making what I now know to be untrue and proveably false allegations against you. I deeply regret the pain, suffering and damage the lawsuits and publicity have caused you, and your family, friends and colleagues." [Image via FayesVision/WENN.].....»»

Finally! Trump Family & Their Charity Sued By New York AG For "Persistent Illegal Conduct"!

With all the other Donald Trump scandals, everyone forgets about the cruelest — his charity scam. For years the Trump family has allegedly been using the Trump Foundation to steal from real charities, and it's disgusting. But the New York State Attorney General's office didn't. They announced on Thursday they're suing the Trump Foundation for what they call "a pattern of persistent illegal conduct." Related: How The Eric Trump Foundation Allegedly Stole From St. Jude's Children's Hospital The AG has named the President but also Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump Jr., and Eric Trump in their lawsuit. See the accusations against the Trump family (below)! The AG's office writes: "The petition filed today alleges a pattern of persistent illegal conduct, occurring over more than a decade, that includes extensive unlawful political coordination with the Trump presidential campaign, repeated and willful self-dealing transactions to benefit Mr. Trump's personal and business interests, and violations of basic legal obligations for non-profit foundations." "The Attorney General's investigation found that the Trump Foundation raised in excess of $2.8 million in a manner designed to influence the 2016 presidential election at the direction and under the control of senior leadership of the Trump presidential campaign." Seriously important note: while the big focus is on the money given to the Trump campaign (because Dishonest Don isn't as rich as he pretends to be and could never actually finance his own run), remember they've allegedly been at this for OVER 10 YEARS! AG Barbara D. Underwood, who has been in the office just weeks now, had this to say: "As our investigation reveals, the Trump Foundation was little more than a checkbook for payments from Mr. Trump or his businesses to nonprofits, regardless of their purpose or legality. This is not how private foundations should function and my office intends to hold the foundation accountable for its misuse of charitable assets." New York state is demanding restitution of the money, fines, and dissolution of the Trump Foundation completely -- with Trump not allowed to start another charity for 10 years and his kids for 1 year each. Frankly, for people stealing from charity, that sounds light to us. They are also referring their info to the F.E.C. and the I.R.S., which should have a lot to say. Hey, maybe Trump's taxes will finally be under audit! Ha! Related: All Of Trump's Many Scandals EXPLAINED! President Trump has already responded on Twitter, once again making this about politics instead of, you know, CRIME. The sleazy New York Democrats, and their now disgraced (and run out of town) A.G. Eric Schneiderman, are doing everything they can to sue me on a foundation that took in $18,800,000 and gave out to charity more money than it took in, $19,200,000. I won’t settle this case!... — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 14, 2018 In case you hadn't heard, previous NY attorney general Eric Schneiderman resigned after sexual misconduct allegations from four women. There are 19 allegations against Trump. He's just ignoring them. ....Schneiderman, who ran the Clinton campaign in New York, never had the guts to bring this ridiculous case, which lingered in their office for almost 2 years. Now he resigned his office in disgrace, and his disciples brought it when we would not settle. — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 14, 2018 Hey. Asshole. You don't want to get treated like a criminal? Two options: 1.) DON'T COMMIT CRIME. 2.) Don't run for public office where the level of scrutiny on your criminal financial dealings is a bit higher than that of reality TV star. We are so glad this is finally getting the spotlight. Oh, and BTW -- Trump can't pardon himself from a lawsuit. [Image via Michael Carpenter/WENN.].....»»

As we reported over the weekend, the Real Housewives of New York City star was arrested and charged with disorderly intoxication, battery on an officer, resisting arrest with violence, and threatening a public servant for an incident where she allegedly "slammed a door," "kicked" an official, and yelled, "I'm going to kill you all" in Palm Beach, Florida. Fast forward to Tuesday, more information is surfacing about The Countess' arrest. Related: Luann's Ex Is Already Dating Again! According to a police report obtained by Page Six, the reality TV personality and a man allegedly entered Room 407 at the Colony Hotel while a maid was still cleaning. De Lesseps was reportedly registered to stay in Room 327. Friend and witness Julie Olson -- who apparently lives in an apartment at the hotel -- tells Page Six the mystery man is "a guy [Luann] had previously dated." Allegedly, a security guard went to the room and told Luann and her ex they had to leave. After "multiple attempts to get both subjects to leave over a five minute period," the guard called for two cops, who arrived around 9:20 p.m. Before authorities got there, the guy reportedly asked Olson to care for de Lesseps, who "wouldn't understand she was in the wrong room." Although reports say the cops found de Lesseps and Olson -- who both allegedly "appeared to be highly intoxicated" -- in the room, Julie claims she only made it to the hallway outside, and denies she "smelled of an unknown alcoholic beverage" and "had slurred speech." In the room, de Lesseps allegedly locked herself in the bathroom and refused to come out. When she finally opened the door, Luann allegedly shoved one of the cops -- identified as "Officer O'Leary" -- in the chest with her palm, and then slammed the door in his face, "striking him in the forehead." Once she was handcuffed and en route to jail, de Lesseps allegedly tried to escape and screamed, "I'm going to fucking kill you." She allegedly continued shouting expletives when she got to prison, and was eventually placed in a holding cell. Luann -- who was released on Sunday -- is due back in court on January 25, 2018.
