The good news is, Shakira has scheduled her tour to resume in June of 2018! If you don’t know, Shakira announced last month that she suffered a hemorrhage on her right vocal cord. “To my dear fans and friends, I wanted to write one more letter to express my gratitude to all of you for the immeasurable love and support that you have sent me these past few weeks. You have made me feel that my voice is not only mine but also yours, and that it has a purpose. There were times when your prayers and messages of affection and encouragement along with those of my family were the only thing buoying my spirits,” Shakira wrote on Instagram. “Though I very much hoped to be able to recover my vocal cords in time to pick the tour back up in January, and after exploring many options to that effect, I have accepted that this is an injury that simply needs more time and care to heal. I feel for all of you who planned ahead to come to these shows and who have been so patient as I took the time needed to figure out the best course of action with my doctors. Thankfully, I am so relieved and happy to share with you that I will be getting back on the road in June 2018 with my El Dorado World Tour in Europe, and the US, with Latin America dates to be announced soon.” Shakira added, “I am very proud of this show; I feel it’s my best yet, since it has a repertoire filled with heartfelt songs and exciting moments of music and dance. I really can’t wait for June! I promise to give you all of me and more from the minute I get on that stage and I am counting the days till showtime!”.....»»

Family Finance Tricks to Save Money on Insurance

Money is always a cause for concern in life. When you do not seem to have enough of it, you might feel constantly stressed and at the end of your rope. In many cases, people struggle with finances because they are spending too much in other areas. Your monthly insurance payments, for example, might be far higher than they should be. Many people end up paying a lot for insurance when they could pay far less and still see the same level of coverage. If this sounds familiar to you, you might need a bit of help.   Making the right decisions with your life and car insurance policies can have a profound impact on the future of your finances. When you are sick and tired of feeling like you are always struggling to make ends meet and want to have extra cash so that you can treat yourself to something nice, now is an excellent time to look at some of these tips and see how to make a difference for your own future. Shop Around Right away, it is a good idea to make sure you know about all of the options in front of you. A common mistake people make is going with the first option presented to them. A young person who is getting life insurance for the first time, for example, might decide it is in her or his best interests to go with the company that her or his parents used. While this might seem like a good idea at first, it also might not be the most practical.   This company could be a terrible fit for the needs of a different generation. This means you are going to want to really shop around and research all of your possible options before you make your ultimate decision. Get to know what is out there and learn about options like Columbus life insurance to really give yourself a shot at finding a policy that helps you to save money and get the best possible coverage for your needs. Examine Options With life insurance, you could also be spending a lot of money on options you do not actually need. Many people get sucked into options for their plans without really getting a full idea of what these options are, what they cover, or even how they could benefit a family. Eliminating the options that are not serving a direct purpose for your future can be a good idea. Take a moment to look over all of your current policies and see if there are any options you are paying an arm and a leg for that you do not require.   Saving money for your future is all about knowing where to trim the fat out of your budget. While you might need insurance coverage, you do not need to pay a small fortune in order to get the right coverage for you and your family members. Give yourself plenty of time to examine your current insurance policies, the options included, and the costs related to each. Should you realize you are paying more than you should, now is the time to reach out to a better option and discover how you can get started with a brand new policy.     Money is always a cause for concern in life. After the famed journalist asked the American Crime Story star about his sexual orientation on ABC's 20/20, Martin infamously responded: "I just don't feel like [telling you]." As seen here: Although the 46-year-old stud called the interview "horrible," he regrets not being forthright about his sexuality. He dished: "I felt like she was knocking punch after punch after punch. It was really uncomfortable, to be honest. But then again, I look at it, and I'm like, 'Why didn't I say yes back then? Just say yes! Yes, I'm gay. Who cares?' You know what I'm saying? She was just doing her job. Everybody was asking that question, and she needed to ask it, so it's okay... I didn't say yes, I didn't say no and I just left it open for everybody to think whatever they wanted to think. But I insist, why didn't I say yes? I believe that everybody should just say yes. In a heartbreaking letter shared to her Instagram on Tuesday, the Colombian singer-songwriter told her fans she is suffering a hemorrhage on her right vocal cord -- and won't be able to perform until 2018. The announcement came days after the 40-year-old canceled a slew of concerts over the past week due to being on "vocal rest." Related: Shakira & Gerard Piqué Shut Down Separation Rumors! No one is more bummed by the news than the pop superstar herself, who had been dedicating the last five months to preparing the world tour, only to come down with a "strange hoarseness" in her throat back in October. While she had hoped to recover in time for the tour, Shakira lamented that her hemorrhage has not yet healed and her "nightmare" of being on vocal rest continues. Read her full message (below): "To my friend and fans, For the last five months I've been wholly dedicated to preparing my El Dorado World Tour. However, these past few days, just before my first concerts, have been the hardest of my career. At the end of July I went for a routine checkup, before starting to design this tour and my doctor confirmed that my vocal cords were in perfect condition. Towards the end of October though, in the home stretch of my rehearsals, I felt a strange hoarseness that impeded my singing. The doctors, upon examination, detected that I had suffered a hemorrhage on my right vocal cord. I then went on vocal rest as recommended by the specialists in an attempt to recover in time for my first show in Cologne. Unfortunately the hemorrhage doesn't appear to have reabsorbed and my nightmare continues. At the moment I find myself in a difficult battle as I try to fully recover. It pains me not to be able to sing this month, for those have done even the impossible to get tickets and accompany me throughout the different countries of Europe. For my team of 60 plus people who have worked day and night until the last day to help me put together the best show of my artistic career, and who, like myself, are anxious to begin this tour. For my kids who were excited to see their mom in concert as soon as possible. And above all, of my fans, who have always been by my side through the good and the bad, and who deserve the best of me. In all the years I've been singing, I've never been faced with situation like this. As such, and with a heavy heart, I must announce that I find myself obliged to postpone my European tour until 2018, to allow my body several necessary weeks, dedicated to my complete recovery. Thanks to my fans throughout the world for their understanding and loyalty, for all the encouraging messages and affection they've transmitted to me, and for their prayers. I hope to overcome this difficult trial and to return to the stage as soon as possible, to once again hear your voices singing along with mine. I love all of you very much and I will always remember those who have been by my side during this time, offering their friendship and affection. Shakira" Such an awful situation. There’s nothing wrong with a little equality joining the likes of Wesley Snipes and Mike Sorrentino. She’s under investigation for forgetting to pay Uncle Se Habla Espanol Sam in Spain from the years 2011 to 2014. It’s hard not to feel bad for her when she’s making all of that money, sometimes remembering you’re still obligated to pay taxes can slip your mind. Her representatives are denying all obligations. Several months ago, Shakira and other famous music artists, such as Madonna and U2 frontman Bono, were named in the “Paradise Papers” leaks that detailed offshore tax arrangements of high-profile individuals. For a woman who manages to infiltrate every radio station worldwide you would think she would remember to pay tax. Having a warrant out for your arrest in multiple locations across the world kind of makes it hard to escape. You can’t change your name and move to Mexico if you already owe them too. If she’s not paying Spain I can just imagine who else she’s handed IOUs to. Backing out on money owed for living in Barcelona is brave. Spain just made the news for beating up Catalan voters for trying to separate themselves. Just imagine the treatment someone like Shakira would receive in jail. The pretty ones don’t last long. The singer and star, now 46, is playing the longtime partner of fashion icon Gianni Versace -- a man named Antonio D'Amico -- in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, and in the promotional run-up to the show, Martin has some thoughts about open relationships! Related: Martin Was Told Coming Out Would End His Career Considering the real-life couple was non-monogamous and slept with other people, it's Ricky's hope that there won't be much harsh judgment from fans who see how that storyline gets portrayed on the show. Martin spoke to Vulture about it, saying (below): "I want to normalize relationships like this. It's good for the world; it's good for me as a gay man with kids. It's important that we shed some light on power couples like this." Interesting comments considering how Ricky has never publicly denied or confirmed that he and husband Jwan Yosef are in an open relationship. But the Livin' La Vida Loca singer continued on with more (below): "I also believe there was a level of homophobia going around in [Antonio's] family where he was hiding, even though he says, 'My relationship was very open and free with Gianni' … The level of commitment after 15 years. The level of security between them and trust between them is so solid. We want to normalize another kind of reality for open relationships. And that's what we're doing. There's absolutely nothing wrong." Thoughts, Perezcious readers?! Let us know in the comments (below)!!! [Image via Media Punch.].....»»

Shakira & Maluma Discuss Risque Lyrics & Being Sex Symbols!

Shakira and Maluma are hot on the cover of the latest issue of Billboard, out now. Here’s what the Colombian “Chantaje” superstars had to say… Shakira, on working with Maluma on their smash “Chantaje”: “When I meet with a producer in the studio, it’s a bit like a blind date. Here’s what the Colombian “Chantaje” superstars had to say… Shakira, on working with Maluma on their smash “Chantaje”: “When I meet with a producer in the studio, it’s a bit like a blind date. But what I found [with Maluma] was absolute chemistry. The moment the creative energy started to flow, it never stopped.” Maluma on his more risqué lyrics: “I say what I think because that’s the way I am. I don’t like to do music thinking about what’s working in radio at the moment. I don’t like to deal with taboos. At a cultural level, Latin music hasn’t developed like American music. If you listen to American radio, the top songs deal with all kinds of dirty stuff, and [my song] “Felices los 4” doesn’t even come close. In Latin America, to see an artist who’s not trap or underground do a song like “4 Babys” is a culture shock. But it also opened the door for other [Latin] artists to go further.” Shakira on her status as a sex symbol: “I don’t feel like a sex symbol. It’s possible many people see me as a sex symbol and others do not. Other people see me as a person that has kept them company through their lives with music, someone who they’re fond of. Some days I’ll say, “Wow, I’m hot.” And I have many sweatpants-and-bun days in my life. And I suppose all women have that chameleonic side to them. We’re a little bit mothers, a little bit professionals, we’re sexy … all women have that balance at any age.” For more from Shakira and Maluma, head to Billboard.com......»»
