On Monday, it was revealed that a former Oklahoma state senator, who also served as a county campaign coordinator for Dirty Donald's 2016 presidential campaign, has agreed to plead guilty to a child sex trafficking charge. Man, oh man. Ralph Shortey resigned from his post in March after he was charged with soliciting sex from a 17-year-old boy. It's said the disgraced politician is planning to enter his plea on November 30 -- which is two weeks before his scheduled trial date. Related: Kellyanne Conway Calls Roy Moore Pedophilia Claims Old News In exchange for the guilty plea, prosecutors are expected to drop three counts of child pornography against Shortey. Regardless, Shortey could still face a life in prison sentence for the child sex trafficking charge. Oof. On the plea bargain, the controversial Republican's lawyer noted: "Mr. Shortey feels this is a necessary step in putting this painful and humiliating ordeal behind him, for both himself, his family and for the state of Oklahoma." The married father of four will likely be sentenced in early 2018. Is it too early to chant, "Lock him up"? [Image via Sue Ogrocki/WENN.].....»»

ICYMI: Apparently The "Tax Cut" Bill Also Tries To Make Abortion Illegal…

This "tax cut" bill is looking worse and worse every day… The GOP is trying hard to jam a bill through the Senate, having already passed it in the House, supposedly all about tax cuts. The GOP is trying hard to jam a bill through the Senate, having already passed it in the House, supposedly all about tax cuts. Related: Former Trump Campaign Coordinator Will Plead Guilty To Child Sex Trafficking Charge But so far we've seen this monstrosity: - INCREASES taxes on many people who make less than $200,000/year while greatly LOWERING them on billionaires - REMOVES tax exemptions for teachers, grad students, and the chronically ill while ADDING them for private jets and golf courses - REMOVES the individual health insurance mandate from Obamacare, something experts agree is just another way to kill it since they can't repeal it - is mostly an effort to keep billionaire donors giving money to Republicans (Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham, and Chris Collins have all admitted as much publicly) But this may be the craziest part yet! Apparently this bill, which again the Republicans are selling as "tax cuts" -- actually has language in it to define an "unborn child" in order to establish "personhood," something anti-abortion activists have been attempting as a way to get Roe v Wade overturned. The excuse is to give parents a way to name their future children as beneficiaries on college savings accounts, but that's something people can already do without this legal language. Sarah Lipton-Lubet, vice president for reproductive health and rights at the National Partnership for Women and Families, tells Huffington Post what this really is all about: "The hope is that if they throw enough anti-abortion language at the wall something is going to stick. It's a dubious strategy. It's an affront to women." Well, attacking, discrediting, and minimizing women is pretty much the GOP's MO. This is what's more important to Donald Trump than whether a Senator is alleged to have molested a 14-year-old. [Image via CNN.].....»»

Report: Former Fox News Host Bill O"Reilly Settled ANOTHER Sexual Harassment Suit For $32 Million

But something tells us bombshell stories like these will just keep popping up again, and again, and again... In a new report out Saturday morning in the New York Times, it turns out that disgraced former Fox News anchor Bill O'Reilly settled ANOTHER sexual harassment claim from a co-worker earlier this year... for a whopping $32 million. WTF?!?! Related: Why Do We Ever Have To Hear Bill's Opinions Again? Lis Wiehl, who was an analyst on Fox News for more than 15 years, accused O'Reilly of misconduct, claiming that he even forced her into a 'nonconsensual sexual relationship' at one point. All that has not only been reported by the Times, but also now confirmed by 21st Century Fox themselves. YIKES. O'Reilly reportedly sent Wiehl a great deal of sexually explicit material as part of his continued harassment, including sending her gay pornography, according to the report. After Wiehl came forward about the behavior, the settlement went down privately in January... just months before O'Reilly was eventually ridden out of town over other sexual harassment settlements and controversies aside from Wiehl. The other issue here for the network comes with the fact that they had signed O'Reily to a new contract in February, bumping his salary up to $25 million a year. And that's just a month AFTER dropping massive money on the sexual harassment settlement. Related: Bill Desperately Returns To News With Very Own Internet Show! Did Fox News REALLY think it was a good idea to renew O'Reilly at the time?! The former TV host's reps have not responded with a comment yet, but we have one: shame on you, Bill. In what could be the biggest Disney purchase since they bought Star Wars from George Lucas, the company has apparently been in talks to buy most of 21st Century Fox! Reports say the companies have been negotiating off and on for the last few weeks, with no deal currently on the table. The inside sources say Fox is interested in focusing on sports and news and would just be selling off most of its entertainment assets. Which ones exactly? Photo: Chris Pratt Returns To Instagram With Adorable Thor: Ragnarok Themed Family Pic Disney wouldn't even be allowed to own two networks, as they already own ABC. But they would be getting FX and National Geographic. Fans of Disney's IMAX nature documentaries could probably look forward to a lot more with NatGeo on board! The biggest aspect here is the purchase of the film studio. For fans of comic book movies, this could be the biggest movie news of all time... See, Fox controls the film rights to X-Men, Fantastic Four, and all related properties. With all of those characters under one roof, we could finally see Deadpool trading quips with Spider-Man, adamantium vs vibranium, Storm marrying Black Panther. This could even mean Hugh Jackman coming out of retirement, as he has said the only thing he wished he could have done as Wolverine was to meet the Avengers. And since Marvel Studios have proven they can make ANY character work on the big screen, even a dancing tree that only says "I am Groot," it's a no-brainer they would FINALLY make an amazing Fantastic Four franchise. (Sorry, Miles Teller, but you know that shit wasn't good.) But obviously films aren't the only thing Disney is known for. Imagine visiting Disneyland and walking from Star Tours over to a class at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. The possibilities are endless! [Image via 20th Century Fox/Disney/Marvel.].....»»

Jimmy Kimmel Calls Out Sen. Bill Cassidy For Lying About Obamacare Replacement Bill Passing The "Jimmy Kimmel Test" — Watch!

That someone is Jimmy Kimmel, who called one senator a liar for claiming that he supported a health care bill that would actually guarantee coverage for all families. On Tuesday, the Jimmy Kimmel Live host ripped on Sen. Bill Cassidy for lying about his new legislation passing the "Jimmy Kimmel Test." The last time the GOP tried to get its "skinny" Obamacare replacement bill passed, Kimmel shared a gut-wrenching story about his newborn son Billy having to get emergency open heart surgery. Video: Jimmy's Emmy-Hosting Advice To Stephen Colbert Is Fucked Up After the 49-year-old issued a plea for keeping health care available to people who can't afford it and those with pre-existing conditions, Cassidy assured Kimmel that any health legislation he drafted would have to pass the "Jimmy Kimmel Test." But after reading up on the new legislation Cassidy co-authored with Sen. Lindsey Graham, Kimmel said the Louisiana Sen. "wasn't very honest" in keeping his promise! Not only will the horrible new bill allow states to make people with pre-existing conditions pay even more, it threatens to take away insurance for 32 million people. Even those who are still covered will see a 20% increase in premiums in the first year. The GOP already has 49 votes and only needs one more to pass the Graham-Cassidy bill -- which Donald Trump is reportedly eager to sign if it makes it to his desk. But that won't happen if Kimmel has anything to say about it! See what the late night host said about this iTunes agreement of a bill (above)! Billy's helping me write tonight's monologue. I'll give our thoughts on the #GrahamCassidy health "care" bill. @BillCassidy @LindseyGrahamSC pic.twitter.com/IOmJ4am5D7 — Jimmy Kimmel (@jimmykimmel) September 19, 2017.....»»
