Adam Rippon Takes Tiny Dump On NBC

Olympic skater Adam Rippon can only spin around three times in the air instead of four, so he is of course garbage in the eyes of the 2018 PyeongChange Olympic judges and most of the world. Even though a lack of ariel dexterity kept Rippon out of contention for a men’s singles medal, he struck a chord […] The post Adam Rippon Takes Tiny Dump On NBC appeared first on WWTDD - What Would Tyler Durden Do?. Olympic skater Adam Rippon can only spin around three times in the air instead of four, so he is of course garbage in the eyes of the 2018 PyeongChange Olympic judges and most of the world. Even though a lack of ariel dexterity kept Rippon out of contention for a men’s singles medal, he struck a chord with audiences over the course of the first week of the Olympic games – enough so to land a correspondence gig with NBC that was supposed to last for the next week, but ended up lasting for four and a half seconds. Rippon accepted the position before realizing that he would have to disassociate from Team U.S.A. and vacate the Olympics HPVillage, which for gay athletes at the Winter Games is like last call at a sex dungeon on Fire Island. He stated to USA Today: I am so flattered that NBC wanted me to work as a correspondent, but if I took this opportunity, I would have to leave the Olympic team and I would have to leave the (Olympic) Village. It’s so important to me, you know, I worked so hard to be on this Olympic team, and my teammates and my friends were there for me during my events, and that meant so much to me, that I really feel like I need to be there for them during their events. People will always criticize whatever network is broadcasting the Olympics, and I really do think that NBC’s inability to gauge which sports we want to be televised (Spoiler: Women getting two feet off the ground on snowboards is not a sport, sorry not sorry) and which to leave to the twelve-people audiences at the PyeongChang games is glaring. In addition to the actual coverage, NBC seems to be scraping the bottom of the barrel with its ragtag team of correspondents. But at least we know that if wall-eyed Shrek monster Mike Tirico can make it on TV, anybody can. Deadline also points to a slew of gaffes made by announcers so far, and basically, nabbing the widely-liked Rippon would have been a win for NBC. By accepting and then quickly dropping this offer, Rippon is telling that world that it’s better to sip hot cocoa and get intercontinental STDs in warming tents than work for NBC. And that’s a message that, as Americans, we can all get behind.   I am flattered that NBC wanted me to work as a correspondent for them here in PyeongChang. Doing this would require me to leave Team USA and move out of the Olympic Village. I don’t want to do that so I had to declined the opportunity. — Adam Rippon (@Adaripp) February 19, 2018 I love being on Team USA and representing our country. My teammates were there for me during my events, and now I NEED to be there for them. I look forward to being with them, and I’m very excited for the rest of the competition. Go Team USA!!! — Adam Rippon (@Adaripp) February 19, 2018 Photo Credit: Getty Images The post Adam Rippon Takes Tiny Dump On NBC appeared first on WWTDD - What Would Tyler Durden Do?......»»

Russia has been barred from the 2018 Winter Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea in response to the widespread doping among the country's athletes. The International Olympic Committee made the ruling on Tuesday, announcing Russian government officials are forbidden to attend next year's global sporting event. Not only that, its flag will not be displayed during the opening ceremony and its anthem will not be played. Ouch! Related: Olympic Drug Tests Show U.S. Athletes Used Banned Substances White some athletes from Russia can petition for eligibility to compete, they will only be able to do so as individuals. Yes, even if these athletes take home the gold, official record books will show that Russia won ZERO medals. The IOC issued the punishment a year after completing an investigation that exposed a state-sponsored doping program operated by the country. To match the unprecedented use of banned substances, the committee hit Russia with penalties so severe, they were unprecedented in Olympics history. The punishment, which will likely face a legal appeal from Russia's Olympic Committee, is similar to what the World Anti-Doping Agency had lobbied for leading up to the 2016 Summer Games -- which allowed Russia to participate in restricted numbers. Related: Lil Peep's Death Being Investigated By Police The 2018 Winter Games, however, will show no traces of the country. Russian athletes with histories of diligent drug testing can request permission to complete in neutral uniform, but then must be approved by a panel appointed by the IOC. We'll wait to see how Russia responds to this news, as some country officials threatened to boycott in response to such a harsh punishment. OMG, Vlad should totally throw an anti-Olympics! That'll show them. [Image via NBC.].....»»

Whatever you do in life please do not think that Alexandra Daddario’s DD rack looked motorboat-able in her Time’s Up finest at the 2018 Golden Globes. That would be seriously messed up and would set us back four-thousand-years. But while you’re at it, please also make sure to look at the dick bulges of male Olympic athletes in skin-tight outfits! You get a dick bulge and you get a dick bulge and you get a dick bulge. Dick bulges for everyone. Due to the porn-ish looking outfits that the men’s luge competitors sported at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games, as well as the unforgiving camera angles featured in NBC’s coverage of the sport, the Internet erupted over the outlines of penises and balls visible on prime time. In fact a writer for the Lena Dunham of websites, Buzzfeed, even posted the article “11 Men’s Luge Bulges That All Deserve Gold Medals.” The whory single forty-something secretary of websites, Cosmopolitan, declared “These Photos of The Olympic Men’s Luge Competition Are… Spectacular.” So. Hm. I don’t necessarily believe in reverse sexism because I think if a man can’t take it then he has a vagina anyway, but the irony of zooming in on men’s baby batter basters without their explicit consent at a time when looking at a woman’s name badge means you want to stab her in the ovaries with a serrated blade is not lost on me. I think the outfits look ridiculous and that watching men’s luge with your kids will save you from having to explain the birds and the bees, but I can’t help but wonder what the reaction would be if someone wrote up “11 Women’s Speed Skating Camel Toes That All Deserve Gold Medals.” I’d venture to find out with my own article but I’m pretty sure I’d get murdered by about ten-thousand people at once. Right after they finished exploding all over their screens to these bulges. Life’s confusing.     Me yesterday: “Wait so like what is ‘luge’ anyway?” Me today, sobbing: “Luge is probably the most important thing in my life after water and air.” pic.twitter.com/jSFohvTNno — Tim Federle (@TimFederle) February 10, 2018 Photo Credit: Getty Images   The post People Think It’s Okay To Sexualize Olympic Male Athletes’ Bulges appeared first on WWTDD - What Would Tyler Durden Do?......»»

Figure Skater Ashley Wagner is "Furious" With Judges After Losing Out on 2018 Winter Olympics Team Placement

Ashley Wagner is sharing her heated reaction after finding out that she didn’t make the U.S. Olympic figure-skating team this year. The 26-year-old Olympic bronze medalist was given disappointingly low scores from judges at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships on Friday (January 5). Ashley finished in fourth place and revealed to The Salt Lake Tribune that she was “absolutely furious.” “For me to put out two programs that I did at this competition as solid as I skated and to get those scores, I am furious, and I think deservedly so,” she shared. “I honestly think that at the end of the day, this is how I feel, and I feel like I need to stick up for myself, and I think that I delivered when I really needed to. I think all these girls delivered when they needed to, but I want to be on that Olympic team and I’m really mad that I’m in this position again.” Ashley finished in fourth in the U.S. Championships in 2014 as well and was given the chance to represent the country at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, but today it was announced that Ashley will serve as Team USA’s first alternate. The 2018 Winter Olympics, starting on February 8, would have marked Ashley‘s third Olympic experience (she was also a first alternate at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver). Bradie Tennell, Karen Chen and Mirai Nagasu will be competing for the United States in Pyeongchang next month. As an athlete, I'm allowed to be mad. As a senior competitor with over 10 years of experience, I'm allowed to question things. At the end of the day, I laid out my best and I'm going home proud! Congrats to the lovely ladies of the team, you've got me in your cheering squad now! — Ashley Wagner (@AshWagner2010) January 6, 2018.....»»

This is due to an alleged state-backed doping scandal, which dates back to the 2014 Sochi Games. “This was an unprecedented attack on the integrity of the Olympic Games and sport. The IOC EB, after following due process, has issued proportional sanctions for this systemic manipulation while protecting the clean athletes. This should draw a line under this damaging episode and serve as a catalyst for a more effective anti-doping system led by WADA,” Thomas Bach, the head of the International Olympic Committee, said during a press conference. “As an athlete myself, I feel very sorry for all the clean athletes from all NOCs who are suffering from this manipulation. Working with the IOC Athletes’ Commission, we will now look for opportunities to make up for the moments they have missed on the finish line or on the podium.” Athletes from Russia who do compete will have to do so in neutral uniforms, and will be subject to strict anti-doping scrutiny. They will compete under “Olympic Athlete from Russia (OAR)” Reports suggest that Russia had their athletes Sochi urine samples tampered with by intelligence agents, who would swap them out via a hole in the wall of a lab......»»

He was allowed to treat us alone in hotels without any supervision.Nobody was protecting us, nobody was even concerned if we were being sexually abused. The lack of accountability from USAG, USOC and Michigan State [makes us] confused and disappointed."
