Jon Stewart Gives History Lesson On Nazis, Jews Controlling The Media, & "Fuckface" Trump In Surprise Standup Set!

With the rise of Nazis and a president who seemingly encourages them, Jon Stewart is one voice we wish was still on TV. Thankfully, the comedian still got to weigh in on Donald Trump's widely-scorned reaction to the deadly Charlottesville rally during a guest appearance at Dave Chappelle's stand-up show at Radio City Music Hall. Video: Tina Fey Lays Into Trump & Nazis On SNL's Summer Weekend Update! Among those in the crowd surprised by the former Comedy Central was New York Times culture reporter Sopan Deb, who took to Twitter to transcribe Stewart's set. Speaking on the white supremacist rally last weekend, Stewart's complaint "wasn't so much that there were Nazis," but instead "the reaction by certain presidents." He explained: "There are two sides? Motherfucker? Two sides?! I believe they are called the Allied powers and the Axis powers." Talking it back to History 101, the 54-year-old joked that America used to be with the Allied powers, but it looks like Trump signed a treaty that the rest of us don't know about. While Stewart doesn't think every Trump supporter is a Nazi, he made it clear that "everybody who is a Nazi sure does seem to like him." Video: Arnold Schwarzenegger Has A Message To Trump & Neo-Nazis Stewart then remembered his Twitter war with Trump, where the future president mocked him for changing his name from Jonathan Leibowitz -- which the comedian responded to by joking that Trump's name used to be "Fuckface Von Clownstick." Nice! But it wasn't all schoolyard name calling -- Stewart spoke on the biggest alt-right "trope" that Jews control the media, explaining: "Basically it goes back to an old white supremacist trope which is 'Jews amongst us.' [Trump] was signaling to the underworld that Jews are amongst us. Honestly, if Jews controlled the media why wasn't I on a network?" He got you there, far right! Stewart also ripped on white supremacists for claiming they are the master race, saying: "If you think you're the master race, how come we're all kicking your ass so easily? Why aren't the Olympics dominated by you? What do you still have left? Golf and tennis? Maybe, maybe. And even then, the first black people you came across, you're like 'We can't play this game anymore.' Williams sisters, Tiger Woods." Though before his set was over, Stewart made sure to defend the other side, quipping: "In the president's defense, he is a terrible person." Oh, how we miss this feisty Jewish gem! But you might be surprised to find out the first film could have ended in several different ways! The cast of the movie is opening up about the alternate endings that the filmmakers toyed with before coming up with the final product. “We played with a bunch of different endings. There’s a trap when you make movies about games. You have to make sure they have stakes. We were very intent on making it clear that you could also not get out of the game. That idea was very important to us throughout,” producer Matt Tolmach told THR. Click inside for the alternate endings, which contain spoilers… In the movie, all of the characters do escape from the game at the end, but Dwayne Johnson‘s character does contemplate staying. “In previous versions there was more of that where [Spencer] wanted to stay in the game with Martha. We made way more of that. It definitely could be interesting and would definitely leave it open to a sequel,” Karen Gillan said. Jack Black jokingly offered a reason as to why Spencer would want to stay. He said, “Dwayne the Rock Johnson was the one who wanted to stay because he had the best avatar! He had Dwayne’s body with all of his strengths!” There was also the possibility of having everyone get sucked back into the game at the end! “There were a few different ideas. Originally when Alex [Wolff] and Morgan [Turner] kiss, we start hearing the drums again and then everyone gets the game downloaded on their phones. Then it’s like, ‘Oh, shoot! We’re all going to be sucked in.’ That would have been a cool way to go,” actor Ser’Darius Blain, who plays Fridge, said......»»

On Thursday, the former Governor of California uploaded another video for ATTN: where he condemned the president and his controversial political stances. Specifically, the Celebrity Apprentice alum dragged POTUS for not taking a stronger stance against racism following the tragedy in Charlottesville, Virginia. Related: Tina Fey Lays Into Trump & Nazis! ICYMI, one woman died and 19 others were injured on Saturday after a car rammed into counter-protesters at a white nationalist rally. Following the violence, the Commander-In-Chief left many baffled when he defended that "both sides" were to blame for the fatal incident. Thus Arnold, who has been a vocal critic of Trump's administration, felt the need to remind Donnie that it's his "moral responsibility" as President to denounce "hate and racism." The Governator noted: "The only way to beat the loud, angry voice of hate is to meet them with louder, more reasonable voices that includes you, President Trump... In fact, as president of this great country, you have a moral responsibility to send an unequivocal message that you won't stand for hate and racism." We couldn't have said it better ourselves. 45 wasn't the only person Arnold came for though as he also had some choice words for neo-Nazis, white nationalists, and neo-Confederates. He continued: "Your heroes are losers. You are supporting a lost cause. And believe me, I knew the original Nazis, because you see, I was born in Austria in 1947, shortly after the Second World War. And growing up, I was surrounded by broken men, men who came home from a war filled with shrapnels and guilt, men who were misled into a losing ideology. And I can tell you: that these ghosts you idolize spent the rest of their lives living in shame and right now, they're resting in hell." Damnnnnn, Arnie isn't holding back! Still, Schwarzenegger makes an excellent point. Be sure to ch-ch-check out his latest jab at Trump for yourself (below). We promise, you DON'T want to miss this! [Image via Instagram/WENN.].....»»

Robert E. Lee"s Great-Great Grandson Condemns Charlottesville Violence — And Says It"s "Fine" To Remove Confederate Statues

With all the controversy over Donald Trump's epic mishandling of a national tragedy, right up to defending neo-Nazis on live TV, it's easy to forget how this all started. Charlottesville had voted to remove their statues of Confederate general Robert E. Lee, as people found them to be glorifying the side of the Civil War that fought to keep slavery. Related: Solange Deleted Her Twitter And Told Nazis To Go Fuck Themselves! That's why neo-Nazis, neo-confederates, KKK members, and other white supremacist subgroups banded together and descended on the town in the first place. Well, an unexpected voice has arisen to condemn the actions of the people protesting the statue's removal -- Robert E. Lee V, the great-great grandson of the Southern soldier. He told CNN on Wednesday: "Those sorts of acts on Saturday, that's just not to be tolerated. We feel strongly that Gen. Lee would never ever stand for that sort of violence." He also wanted to send a positive message to those hurt in the violence: "We just want people to know that the Lee family just really wants to send their best to the people in Charlottesville." As for the statues? Related: Former Presidents Shame Trump With Eloquent, Unequivocal Response To White Supremacists Lee thinks it's perfectly understandable to discuss taking them down without any violence: "Eventually, someone is going to have to make a decision, and if that's the local lawmaker, so be it. But we have to be able to have that conversation without all of the hatred and the violence. And if they choose to take those statues down, fine." He added: "Maybe it's appropriate to have them in museums or to put them in some sort of historical context in that regard." Seems totally reasonable to us. Not having to walk by tributes to men who fought for slavery every day is an important step in the healing of this country that's been long overdue. You know who else thought so? General Lee himself. After the war, he wrote on the subject of monuments: "I think it wiser not to keep open the sores of war, but to follow the examples of those nations who endeavoured to obliterate the marks of civil strife and to commit to oblivion the feelings it engendered." Something tells us these white supremacists won't honor the wishes of their "hero" when it doesn't align with their racist mission. [Image via Twitter.].....»»

Jimmy Kimmel Reacts to Trump"s Charlottesville Comments (Video)

Jimmy Kimmel is sharing his thoughts on how President Donald Trump has been handling the violent marches that erupted in Charlottesville, Va., where white nationalists have been clashing with counter-protestors. The 49-year-old talk show host addressed the situation during his opening monologue on Monday night (August 14). “We went into the weekend worrying about the fact that Kim Jong-un vowed to start a war by the middle of this month,” Jimmy said. “And we come out of it wondering if our president is cutting eye holes out of his bedsheets.” “As you know, this weekend in Virginia, the worst people in the United States went to the hardware store, bought tiki torches, lit ‘em up, and marched in Charlottesville,” he continued. “A non-violent protester was killed by a white supremacist and so the president – who is the president, by the way – went on television. He started with a prepared statement, and then he had to throw in ‘on many sides.’” “Let’s not lay all the blame on the Nazis and the Klan here, there were people who marched against them,” Jimmy joked, adding, “Then for two days [Trump] had no further comment. The one thing he decides to be quiet about is this! Of course, everyone went nuts because … there were two sides – not many – and one of those sides had Nazis on it.” “All he had to do was condemn the Nazis, which shouldn’t have been difficult!” Jimmy said. “It’s not exactly a controversial stance, not like we asked him to come out against puppies.” He also shared, “Angela Merkel, the German chancellor, called the rally ‘evil’ and ‘disgusting.’ You understand what that means? That means Germany is taking a stronger stance against Nazis than we are … and they invented them.” Watch his full monologue below. Jimmy Kimmel on Donald Trump’s Charlottesville Comments.....»»

As you'll remember our reporting yesterday, graphic video was released of a Dodge Challenger car deliberately driving into protesters at a peaceful anti-racist rally in the Virginia city, injuring more than 20 people. Related: Michael Rapaport Brings Strong Take To Racist Neo-Nazis Now, we know that the person killed by the domestic terror attack was 32-year-old Virginia native Heather Heyer, a woman who had been working as a paralegal with a local law firm. Police confirmed Heyer was struck while crossing the street with other counter-protesters. As for the man behind the wheel who perpetrated the terror attack, police have arrested 20-year-old James Fields Jr., who had initially sped away from the attack and gone free. He is facing multiple charges, including second-degree murder. Fields, a registered Republican who reportedly had long been obsessed with Nazis, appears to have been an avowed white supremacist and stood alongside members of the Vanguard America hate group during the rally that day.
